Hi Erica
Well, from my view point, the MOVERS tab is the very first one I look at when logging-in... ..
Duplication is the 'key' to success with SFI, and without an active downline - we are prevented from doing that !
So, MOVERS tab will allow you to
(1) see exactly which of your downline is currently active.
(2) you can then "work with the workers" and keep in regular touch with the downline who are active - encouraging them by monitoring their individual T-Connect

Are there any shortcuts to success in SFI for new affiliates?

Good question.
With most business models, I have the impression that there are NO short cuts to success with SFI.
(When, and if you start a new business in most areas, it takes a year or two to start making profits. Similarly to what we can expect with our business venture with SFI).

I tend to tell my new Affiliates that this is 'not a get rich quick scheme', and not to expect quick returns - so work hard, follow all the RULES TO SUCCESS, and depending on our efforts, you

Should I encourage or discourage my PSAs who want to become Team Leaders right away?

Hi Mary
Your question is certainly given me 'food for thought'.

I have been with SFI for 13 months, and still at the EA2 level.

Frankly, I presumed it would be fairly painless to reach the next level - BTL.
BUT, seeing that none of my 'over 150 x PSA's ' have yet reached the EA2 level,
(or even kept active for more than a few months), I have not thought it prudent to push to the BTL level.

Whats the point of being at BTL level - if I have no 'team'?

Hi Ovidio,
Excellent question, as I has been on my mind for sometime.... because I consider sighing up ECAs a 'key' part of the SFI programme.

My way is to first identify a small company that produces lightweight items, that can be easily exported worldwide - thus reduce shipping costs.
Secondly, to find something that is 'appealing' to a wide market - and cost effective and competitive.

Then I have to organise a meeting with the 'owner', (again a small company does

Hi,
Good question - as I was reading a report from the USA a few days back which stated that 1 in every 4 four persons between the ages of 40 to 75 would like to open their own business !! Thats a huge number.
Much depends on the persons' life-style, and 'state of wealth', (not health).
I believe a person has to first be motivated to seeking another income, although with rampant inflation, and failing 'pension funds', those possible outcomes in themselves must be motivating many

Is SFI good for students (18 or older)? Why or why not?

HI,
Thanks for the interesting question.
I am in two minds as to whether students (18 or older), will be focused on anything other than their 'intended career paths' whilst they are busy studying at college!

The majority - probably not!
But there is no reason why a selected few - who are not totally committed to their study choices - may well be persuaded to look to studying 'online marketing' with SFI.

As we all know, SFI is a fantastic, varied, comprehensive

HI Pamela,

If any of my 'Affiliates', ask me a question that I cannot answer with any certainty, I will immediately tell them that
(a) I appreciate their question, and regret that I do not know the answer myself but will do what I can to find out the answer.
(b) I will also tell them that the way I have to find out will be:
(1) See if my Sponsor, or Co-sponsor know the answer,
(2) Look at the FORUM, and see if the question has already been asked,
(3) Check on

Hi,

Thanks for the question as to where the best places are to post advertising flyers...
(as its one I keep asking myself)...

To me it seems important that we try to 'target the right market'.... although with SFI, anyone could be a target !
It all depends on whether they are looking to make an extra income, or looking for that 'job at home', or 'get away from that awful Boss', or 'learn to become an internet entrepreneur', etc, etc...

The places I prefer

Is it wise to 'bribe' your downline with Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives? Or does this practice come back and bite you?

Hi Ian,

With respect, "I cannot agree with you when you write 'is it wise to bribe your downline with Gift Certificates etc etc " - because to many of us, it is simply not a 'question of bribing' at all ! Its more a question of showing your 'downline' that you appreciate their efforts!!

Giving them a additional lift (and experience) to use a TCredit to sample the Price Benders Auctions, or some other 'aspect' of this wonderful system of SFI.

However,

Dear Maja,

I find your question a good one - as I am sure most of us Team leaders get frustrated at the slow progress of many if not all, of our Affiliates, and feel at times we want to give them a push with some 'constructive criticism'...

However, SFI ethics do not give us that mandate - because our job is to encourage our downline to be more active. We do this by guiding them to the various aspects of the SFI training programme that will help them.
