I am online at the Affiliate Center and see that someone just signed up under my link and is online too. What should I do?

If you see that your newly joined affiliate is online, I would say greet them with a Team Mail rather than chatting. It would create a professional your impression of yours in his mind and in your mail include all those an ideal welcome mail must consist.
Bottomline is try to develop the initial contact through the Team Mails, you can use the chat box once you are used to with the affiliate.
What are the key areas or general factors to consider when advertising your gateways to get good results?

The key areas to be focused are as:
1.Content of your advertisement
2.Contact details of yours and a short description about SFI/TripleClicks.
3.The base of customers you want to reach out.
4.The result/success ratio of the advertisement method adopted by you.
5.To see it fits you economically, socially and give you best results.

Marketing through e-mail is the current trend and also a good success ratio. You can do the same by following the simple steps so that you have the high success ratio. You must:
1.Make a strong database of the mail id of person interested or looking for the job. You can find/get it from the current employment office.
2.Next is to visit the colleges where the youth are excited to earn for their expenses and hence you can get a good list of mail id and also potential and interested affiliates there.
3.Save the list gathered from different venues and send regularly 10, 20 or 50 mails per day as it suits to you.
Don't forget to respond all the mails that are replied to you.
This is the cheapest way of e-mail marketing where you can have lots of e-mail ids to advertise and hopefully many will take interest in understanding the prospect atleast. Then it is on you how well you convert a Mail reader to an SFI affiliate/ TripleClicks member.

How much should an SFI affiliate spend on advertising each month?

The answer to this question is "as much you can afford". Because SFI is an open business where you are your own boss and you can have as many affiliates you need in your downline. So the goal must be set by you as to how much you want your business and should plan your expenditure accordingly. And if planned nicely, SFI is a place which gives you 100$ or even more for a single $ spent towards the business.
So, I would say saw a seed today and reap 100 tomorrow.

Friends/family have a great impact on a person's mind and if they discourage, the person is forced to review his/her decision. Same thing happens here.
So, you before asking him/her to join make the thing clear that it is not a "One day billionaire" scheme, but an open business where you are your own boss free to decide the amount of work, amount of training and also the amount of money to be earned. So it is more dependent on the affiliate rather than you.
Next is you can assure him/her full support or you can motivate them by some examples( yours would be a better one) and show them some easy ways to earn money like marketing at TripleClicks.com, ECA listing and also Pricebenders.
Next you can transfer him/her some T Credits or a Gift Certificate could work if they need to buy anything meanwhile, when they have no money to buy.
The bottom line is you must explain him/her that earning money more dependent on him/her rather than you. You as a sponsor can help him/her out but the job is to be done by them only and they will be paid on the basis of their work. Everything is in their hands, they can be even more successful than you or may not even earn a penny if they not work.

How can I motivate my friends to join SFI?

Motivating friends to join SFI is a cake walk and specially for someone like me who is in collage having almost 5000 or more students.
But I do it in some different manner. I because am representing a business (and not inviting them for a party) prefer they should contact me for the prospect.
For this I have taken steps as:
1.Joined my top/best friends by convincing them(which is not a tedious task at all).
2.Placed banners at the entry gate with titles "get your stationary expenses free of cost", 'get your daily expenses for just few mouse clicks etc with my contact info.
3.Handed over my x-cards to the manager of college canteen.
4.Called of a student meet before/after college to give a glance to the whole college.
5.Mentioned about SFI, TripleClicks in my posts/tweets and messages.
By the such a regular encounter with "SFI" and students(classmates, juniors, seniors) who are really interested in doing something contact me and they are a resource to me.
If you are an employer or a business owner, you can also employ such things to get your friends contact you for joining in SFI.
And remember the best thing is they ask you to enroll them in SFI, not you forcing them to do so.

Now that I have acquired Bronze Team Leader status with 3,000 VP, how can I maintain my monthly 3,000 VP and BTL status?

To retain BTL, you must have a standing order of IAHBE or the special SFI standing order of 100 T Credits along with 1 S Builder unit and try to sponsor atleast two affiliates per week and train them to atleasdt achieve EA2. This will surely help.
Can someone share the text for a proven verbal presentation to use with prospective ECAs?

Verbal presentation with a prospective ECA must be something like "ALL IN A NUTSHELL".
You must describe all the benefits of joining as an ECA directly as anyone will be first interested in the same only. Try to win their hearts with a simple, easy words which are obviously nothing less than 100% truth and surely if your presentation contains all the benefits and the person infront of you has even a little knowledge of doing the business, then he/she would surely bring colours to your efforts.

Sometimes some relation doesn't gain you profit, but they still make you rich. Same is the case with me. I haven't received profits still I am rich with all the love, care and support I received from my "Always Caring Sponsor" MR. David Penner.
Also the support and tips, care and friendship from the people of almost all the corners of the world through a2a.
An experience of team handling and internet marketing, which was totally new for me and even unexpected as I being a student of science.
And yet I think there is a lot more I've to gain and will surely with the support of everyone here.
