Unfortunately most affiliates when they join up put the barest of information down and as a sponsor you have very little to go on with at the start. Thats one of the reasons why I encourage all PSAs to complete their profile & confirm their registrations as early as possible.

One of the first things I look for is the PSA's primary language and make a note of it if its not English. I always bear this in mind when sending them tips etc. However quite often even that is missing, so regardless of which country the PSA is from I always point out to them that the SFI pages/information can be translated with Google Translator at the bottom of the pages.

Communication is vital between the sponsor and the PSA if he/she is to get off to a good start in SFI. It is also very important that the PSA understand what he/she reads in the Launchpad lessons and other parts of SFI.

The PSAs will always struggle with the business if they do not understand the business.

The other areas of their profiles I always check are:
- their business and advertising experience and preferences
- how much time they plan to spend on the business and if these are likely to change
- if they intend to invest any monies in the business - the amount is an indicator of their wealth and seriousness about the business.

I use these bits of information to help them with their training/coaching etc.. For example those with business and advertising experience, I encourage them straight away more so than others to start promoting SFI/TripleClicks - Point out the advantages of a Standing Order more so with those with money - Encourage daily log ins etc.. Those who are operating physical stores are encouraged and pointed towards ECA.

The information on the Affiliates' Profiles are important tools for getting them off to a good start and should be used whenever possible. Encourage the affiliates to complete them as early as possible. Thats why its one of the Fast Track requirements.

For future SFI stars, its not so much identifiable skills they have, rather its their attitude that is most important. The necessary skills can be learnt along the way.

Have a look at their profiles. See what previous experience they have, identify where you can help and then tailor your sponsoring efforts accordingly.

The future SFI stars are the ones that are passionate about the business - not necessarily the ones that are racing ahead and collecting all the readily available VPs in their 1st month in SFI.

The future stars will connect with you before or immediately after you send them a welcome letter.
They will read and learn as much as possible about SFI, the Launchpad lessons, Internet Course etc
They will regularly, if not daily, log in and work on their business.
They ask questions and you can tell by the questions that they have done some learning or research themselves.
They are the ones that:
- go for Gold Fast Tracker
- set up Standing Order 1500 VP without any prompting from you
- start building their team of affiliates
- you can see that they are promoting TC and getting referrals & earning commission
They will also participate in the Forum discussion, will be active with ASK SC, take part in the contests and auctions and you will see their name/picture regularly popping up at the Leaders Board.

The stars are the ones that would quickly learn the business and get on with it. You may find yourself being inspired by them or struggling to keep up with them.

As I do not have a 'standard' job I am able to work on my SFI business every day - 40 hrs a week. This however is changing soon due to family circumstances. Obviously I will need to adjust my schedules.

This is what I am currently doing:

Every day - 7 days a week, I spend 2 hours on my standard daily SFI activities. Thats 14 hours a week - actioning my 'to do list', contacting My Movers, checking and responding to my SFI messages, sending out streams and newsletters, contacting and welcoming new PSAs and CSAs - any matters needing urgent action. I do these in the evenings as the official SFI day starts in the evening in my country.

The remaining 26 other hours a week I spend on my SFI business are divided at 50% on Promotion, 20% on Research, 20% on Training, 10% on Others.
- 'Promotion' is divided between SFI and TripleClicks on a month on month off basis - alternating
- 'Research' is looking at online trends, events local and international that might affect my business, looking for promotional niches & site & ideas & methods etc..
- 'Training' is refreshing myself with launchpads lesson, the internet course, learning promotional tools SFI internal and external, learning promotional methods etc..
- 'Others' - well this is play time. I play the Eager Zebra games and have fun with the other games etc..

TripleClicks has a wide range of products that would appeal to a wide range of people.

I would suggest that you select the type/class of people you want to promote to and then select the most appealing products for TripleClicks to promote to the. Do your research beforehand though.

Take mothers for example:

Recent consumer surveys have confirmed that mothers/ladies have immense influence online. Of all the family members, mothers are the ones who are most likely to spend money online. They are more likely to join and remain active or visit social networks, connect with families and friends, surf the net for retailers online, hunting for bargains, follow fashion trends, purchase for other members of the family both on and off line etc..

Many mothers actually prefer online shopping to going to the local mall. Many mothers nowadays are busy working and don’t have the free time to go wandering from shop to shop, especially if they are looking for bargains. There’s plenty of those online, especially at TripleClicks and all they have to do is click the mouse and type a few words to find them.

They go for the 4 star products, those with great reviews, and also for those products where free shipping is available.

And what do they buy? – not just kids clothes online. They also buy shoes, handbags, kids’ toys, clothes and accessories for themselves and for their men, school supplies, beauty products, books, music

So, if you decide to promote TripleClicks products to mothers, obviously you are going to select products they are known to buy, as listed above, select 4+ star products and with free shipping if available.

In other words, research your target audience and then select their preferred products for promotion. Tailor your advertisements for your particular audience.

Check your My Movers every day and note what VP they have earned, where they are in relation to the 'green' line, if they have Fast Track, if they have Standing Orders, how long ago they logged in.

Ignore whether they are PSAs or CSAs - they all contribute to your business.

I would encourage those who are right up to date and really working hard.

If they are not on Fast Track, no Standing Order or below the 'green' line, again, I would urge them on to go for these explaining how they will benefit. Whats in it for them.

Have a look at their VP Ledger and give them pointers and tips to maximize their businesses.

If a mover had not logged in for a day or two, I would just send them a contact note encouraging them along. Do not let these slip by. You do not want them to start slipping and not logging in regularly.

These are your workers and you want them to continue working. You want them to be successful and start duplicating your efforts. If they are successful, you will have a successful business.

I am presuming that by "invest in advertising" you are talking about recruiting PSA and by "EA-qualifying purchase" you are talking about acquiring Sales VP in order to qualify for EA.

While it is great to qualify EA when you start out in SFI, I believe that maintaining EA by your purchases is unwise. Simply qualifying EA each month buy acquiring Sales VP by yourself is unwise. People loose their momentum, they run out of money or simply loose interest and become inactive.

Advertising and recruiting affiliates on the other hand, keeps the affiliate and the sponsor active and they certainly help in growing your business.

I would recommending doing both of these when starting out, especially if you have had experience at advertising.
If you however are short of advertising funds, promoting TripleClicks products is a great strategy of earning money online with sales commission.

I would advise against participating in the SFI PPA program if you are just starting out and you are serious about building a team of affiliates of your own.

The reason why I say this is because those affiliates you sign up do not become your PSAs. They are corporate 'property' and SFI put them up for auction etc..

If you are considering taking part in this programme because of the money SFI will pay you, choose wisely. In my opinion, you will benefit more by promoting TripleClicks and referring people there to purchase products and services. To name a few, you will receive very good commission, versapoints, possible residual income etc. With PPA, you get paid and thats it.

If you still want to take part in the PPA programme, I would suggest waiting until you are well established in SFI and you perhaps have a few generations in your team. With a stable team and income you may then want to play the PPA programme.

Even before you contact your prospective ECA, I would recommend that you need to do your homework well:

- Determine the type of business and if its products and/or services are suitable for TripleClicks. Do they have a good reputation?
- Have they been advertising locally on newspaper/radio/Tv? What appears to be their approach to advertising/promotions? Do they advertise at all and if so how much?
- Do they have a website? What is it like? Are they promoting their products and services on their website? How up to date is it?
- Identify the best person to approach with your proposal
- Know your stuff. Understand how the ECA system works within TripleClicks. Your prospects will ask questions of you. You need to be accurate and honest.

Your homework will indicate to you how best to contact you prospect. The more information you have the better prepared you can be.

You can ring and make an appointment to come and see the contact.

You can send them a letter, introducing yourself, TC and the benefits of ECA and letting them know that you will call in the near future for an appointment. Dont leave it to them to call. You make the follow up call.

You can also cold call on them. For this to work you need to know your subject well, however if you call in and the contact is not available, make an appointment for a future date/time.

The best way to contact a prospective ECA is really determined by the result of your 'due diligence' and your own personality of course.

- Read all the material readily available in the 'SFI Basics' and the Launchpads lessons including all the associated links.
- Use the Search Box at the Affiliate center if you are looking for a particular subject
- You can also click on the topic tabs across the Affiliate Center page for whatever you are looking for.
- Your sponsor is always there to help you. He/She can answer or find out the answer to most of your questions.
- Dont forget other members in your upline - The Forum - A2A friends can also provide the best answers.
- I'm a great fan of ASK SC. Its a great source of information/answers from other affiliates.

If you are looking for information about SFI for evaluation purposes, you can always search for it on Google, social networks etc.. Caution though, there is another outfit out there also called SFI. It has nothing to do with internet marketing/affiliate.

As a sponsor, these are ideally what a new PSA would do. It should set up the PSAs frame of mind regarding what he or she should do in order to be successful in SFI. Of course there are other important matters such as duplication etc.. but for now, the focus is getting the PSA working and getting started building their business.

The primary focus is building your PSAs business and Fast Track is the ideal tool for this. Their business is your business. You cannot operate your business in isolation. I strongly recommend that you focus on building up their business. If they are successful you will also have a successful SFI business. If they are not, you will not have a successful business.
