Should I buy PSAs or learn how to sponsor them myself?

Sponsoring and duplication is most important in order to build a successful SFI business. An active downline of PSAs can generate a good income for years to come. However one needs to consider how to optimize your resources and get the maximum results in a cost-effective way. The question of buying PSAs or learning how to sponsor yourself arises and for various reasons both methods are useful. However I will consider the factors when making a decision:
COST
The cost of purchasing PSAs can be high. What if that cost is channelled into paid advertising. Would there be better results than buying PSAs? Weigh the costs and it may be more prudent to take up paid advertising instead. On the other hand you don’t pay anything for free classifieds, traffic exchanges etc.
QUALITY
The quality of purchased PSAs can be suspect. Are they genuine compared to PSAs obtained through sponsoring? If you have sponsored someone there is a chance they have some genuine interest compared to purchased PSAs. You can never tell for sure how the purchased PSAs came about unlike sponsoring yourself.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
You practically learn nothing about sponsoring if you are going to rely solely on purchasing PSAs. There is a saying “give a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. SFI has more than ample resources to learn how to sponsor and build a sizeable downline.
POWER OF THE INTERNET
Why spend a fortune on buying PSAs when you can use the power of the internet to build a large downline at a lower cost. You have social media, free search engine submission of your website, classifieds, blogs etc.
TIME CONSTRAINT
For those with time constraints perhaps they don’t mind paying to purchase PSAs and also bidding at auctions. If you have the funds purchasing PSAs is a quicker option.
CONCLUSION
I would recommend a combination of the two methods with a mix of 20% purchasing PSAs and 80% sponsoring. This is especially ideal for those who are new to internet marketing. Those who are new can purchase PSAs for a start while they learn the ropes of sponsoring.

How do you deal with PSAs who you offer unconditional support but still rate you poorly?

Rating is a subjective matter like any other credit ratings and not everyone can be pleased. You provide all the necessary support and yet some affiliates rate you below par.
The support provided should not be curtailed just because you were rated poorly by your PSAs.
Continue to work with them providing the maximum support you can. As they progress they will appreciate your support and rate you favourably next time around.
Perhaps motivate them further with some of the available incentives to perform and they could payback in their ratings.
They will in turn be rated by their own PSAs and perhaps they will learn a lesson or two.
Communicate with them and ask them if you can provide any further assistance for them to advance.
It won’t take extra effort in continuing the support because after all it’s a group mailer and if need be continue with the individual support.

What was your greatest challenge to success in SFI...and how did you overcome it?

There will be challenges for many of us at SFI. Overcoming the challenges is the path to success at SFI. What matters is to face the challenges head-on, overcome the challenges, after which there is a sense of achievement and we get motivated to face bigger challenges.
The greatest challenge for me was to build a sizeable team to lead and motivate. I learned that SFI is all about building a team and duplicating the efforts.
I managed to overcome the challenge by focusing on the following areas:
Focusing my efforts on the three core areas namely START, SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD got myself some basic foundation to build up a team.
The forum has helped me to overcome the challenge. I read the forum posts everyday and that gave me more insights about building up a team.
Reading and answering the many questions at ASK SC has broadened my knowledge and helped me to overcome the challenges.
The valuable SFI training resources gave me some solid foundation and helped me to overcome the challenges.
My commitment at SFI has in many ways helped me to overcome the challenges.
I also focused on goal setting and this has helped me to build a team.
Finally the “never give up”attitude has enabled me to keep pushing and helped me to overcome the challenges.

I need to work to pay my bills. Getting up early, travelling to and from work, getting caught in the traffic jams etc. is really a hassle. Building a second income with SFI will surely benefit me in numerous ways.
I believe SFI is one business with a prospect of financial freedom. I could work from home and have more time for myself. There are opportunities to earn multiple streams of income at SFI.

Which is better...doing two separate blogs about SFI and TripleClicks...or a single blog about BOTH?

Blogging takes up a whole lot of time. If you have the time then you can have two separate blogs about SFI and TripleClicks. Good content is the key to good traffic for your blogs. To come up with good content you need to do some research and be knowledgeable. There may be a need to write and re-write and then start all over again. This can be time consuming.
Having one blog with multiple categories will allow it to have more content, increase traffic to the site, have more cross-over between posts, and make your life easier in all. Both SFI and TripleClicks share a similar audience, so no problem merging the content into one mega blog.

If you could completely start over with SFI today, knowing what you know now, what would you do differently?

I will surely be in a better position today to build up my SFI business If I have to completely start over with SFI again. I would do the following with not much of a difference but in an enhanced capacity.
Basically I would go full steam in building up my SFI business since I am already equipped with the knowledge base to do this.
Building up a quality team will be a priority.
Go all out in advertising using my gateways

Duplication is the key to success in SFI and building a quality team and I will work towards this.
Provide the necessary training to my team to achieve team success.
Get my team to be more involved in the forum and ASK SC.
Robust communications is necessary to achieve goals and I work on the communications aspect.
Adopt a multi-pronged approach in advertising to get optimum results.
Set up short term and long term goals for my SFI business.
Set up a business plan with short term and long term strategies to maintain a constant flow of multiple streams of income at SFI.

How do you get new PSAs to commit to SFI?

Showing commitment is the key to growing your SFI business. While there are significant number of inactive PSAs there are ways to reduce this figure and get new PSAs to show commitment.
Practice the “being an awesome sponsor” concept. Such leadership role provides the motivation for new PSAs to show commitment. New PSAs need leaders to guide them and you have to lead by example for them to show commitment.
Focus on their training needs to build up their confidence in handling the business. Teach them about duplication etc. Once the confidence is there, new PSAs will build up momentum and they feel committed.
Maintain the communication flow. New PSAs could be asking a flow off questions to clear their doubts. Timely communications is vital to build up their SFI business knowledge and boost their commitment.
Teach them how to set goals, measure performance and take corrective action for deviations. Upon achieving some of the goals they feel they have made some progress and will feel committed.
Reward them for progress for example reassigning PSAs, participating in Co-Ops etc.
Instil in them the fact that SFI is your own business and run it like you own the business.

Which is more effective--distributing TCards online or in person?

Gift cards are an excellent marketing tool to generate PRMs. They are a great way to increase your earnings at SFI.
Distributing gift cards in person is more effective because of the personal touch and face to face explanation of details.
Distributing gift cards online to unknown persons can be risky. The same person can pose as different people and rob you of dozens of cards. However, if you have a personal website or blog you can still add a gift banner to distribute your gift cards online.
Start with family members and friends by handing out the gift cards to them personally. Then hand out the gift cards to people whom you meet often.
Network marketing is also a relationship business providing value to the people we touch. We get to know them, give them the personal attention and some buy our products and join the SFI business.
We continue to build a relationship after handing them personally the gift cards and help them to enroll at TC.

It is important to develop good leadership skills and take on leadership roles for success in SFI business.
You are running your own SFI business and building up a team. The essence of building up a team is duplication. You need to take on leadership roles in order to duplicate the system. As a leader you need to train and develop your PSAs so they too can be as skilled to duplicate their efforts and pass on.
Developing Team Leaders is essential in the process of duplication at SFI as this ultimately results in leverage and growth in your SFI business. You have to develop good leadership skills and be a good role model for your team.

In your advertising campaign it is better to provide less information emphasising on the salient points and key words. People will only want to read what stands out or something catchy.
The lesser the information, the more the product or service captures your prospective customer’s attention.
Your content is what really matters and with the appropriate keywords the prospect zeros in on your campaign.
Have strong headlines and test your ad.
