When my sponsor was working on setting up an advertising co-op, I wanted to know how much experience he had in dealing with different ad sites, what kind of ad sites he would be using. Were the sign-ups being paid to join, just click, or joining just by catching their attention? What countries were targeted, age groups, etc. And the cost and how soon he expected to see results.

These are the things that an affiliate wants to know before he buys a share of a co-op. This should be in the

Many people sign in to SFI without having any idea of what a businessman has to go through to become successful. You have to prepare them, show them that ups and downs are normal and they must learn to cope with it.

1) Be honest with your affiliates. They have to pedal their own bike to succeed in this business. You are not riding a tandem bike where you do all the work and he coasts. We can guide and encourage, but they have to do the work.

2) Share personal experiences, ups

The first step to becoming your class Champion is setting that as one of your goals. To ensure yourself of that goal, your should work diligently on finishing your To Do List and of course Doing all of the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly assignments. Do not miss a single chance of gathering in any vp that is available.

But there is a limited number of available vp on the To Do list. Everybody can do it and more than you will do it. So to guarantee that you will come out on top, you must determine

To be a leader, you must have a team to lead. To grow as a leader, you must work at improving your leadership skills and habits. You must know which direction you are leading them and if that is the correct route to the correct destination. We must not lead astray.

These are the things that I am working on to improve my leadership skills:

Is cold calling, using a local telephone directory, a good method for attracting new PSAs?

"Cold calling" is generating a conversation with a stranger about a business proposition whether to sell him some item or interest him in joining your business. Your question asks about the use of the local telephone directory to find people to contact.

I use the phone directory to do research on local businesses for the purpose of interesting them about our ECA program. While I usually do not phone them, I will see where they are and if they have an ad in the Yellow Pages. This

Well, the fastest way to get a PSA to rate you is to mess up, forget to answer a question, don't send team mail, send mail to him with someone else's name, etc. And then remind him that he hasn't rated you yet and that he will earn 10 vp for spending 10 seconds venting his anger.

Ah, you want good ratings? Start by being an awesome sponsor, or at least one who is dedicated to your PSAs. Do all that you should be doing anyway to help your team to succeed one by one. Create a relationship

SALES!!!

As soon as you get into SFI and check out TripleClicks, you can choose some listed products and advertise them by word of mouth, free ads, or paid ads. You don't have to invest any money into it unless you use paid ads. You don't have to actually own the item. Your don't have to collect the payment or package it and send it out. The purchaser must become your PRM so you may have repeat sales there, especially if you send a short term Gift Certificate that reverts back to you if

Which is better and why...to contact my PSAs through SFI (e.g. PSA Mailer) or directly via their email address?

I learned a silent lesson from a Moderator that I befriended a few years ago. And that lesson was to use all available methods of contacting an affiliate. Without using social media, just regular eMail and all the ways that SFI provides, it keeps an affiliate on his toes.

Just think, we have:
the Team Mail from the Genealogy,
the eCards from their Profiles,
the PSA or CSA Mailer from Power Tools,
the Stream from the Home Page,
the Contact Seller from TripleClicks

As an ECA, how can I get SFI affiliates to promote my products and services?

First you must keep your ECA store out in front of them. Add new items weekly. Make ECA comments on your News Feed and the Stream section for ECAs. Connect with other ECAs and affiliates. Use your ECA store and product descriptions in your signature when writing to your team.

Tell your team the benefits that they get when they advertise and sell your products. Make a contest for your team mates to sell your products.

Then if you want to entice other affiliates to advertise your

There are no short cuts to success in SFI or elsewhere. You have to do the work. But there are detours, rabbit trails, dead ends, pot holes, and water on the road which you should avoid. And there is the road map and GPS which you should pay great attention.

When you are starting out or when you are advancing, you must pay close attention to what is in the SFI training. Keep close to your sponsor and upline. Duplicate them. Do not add your own spin on it. Do not be enticed by others to
