The best way to support your downline affiliates if you have barely enough to support yourself would be to show encouragement and keep them motivated to do all they can to grow and build their business.Teach them how to stay on target,keep things simple,have fun,read and learn and continue to follow instructions to make the business work

If you have barely enough to support yourself you cannot be stressed about trying to help them financially in the business.Just be there for them and help them do the right things that's needed like logging in daily and scoring points each month to stay active. A lot of your downline affiliates may be in better shape than you financially, so don't assume that they will not invest or spend money to make the business work easier for them.

It will take a longer time to build if you are strapped for cash or on a tight budget, but stay focused and continue to build your group until you can see a small profit, then reinvest it back until you see your income increase.A lot of sacrifices and commitments will have to be made in SFI and the question is are you willing to stick it out through all of your tough times and become successful.The focus should be on the long term and remember that we are building a growing residual check and with hard work, the right direction and persistence, a person can reach unlimited income, but they have to want it bad enough and be willing to pay the price for it..

I want to answer this question in the way that it was asked. You want my opinion on what is the best method to attract and convince people to join SFI and since we are discussing the the area of advertising/marketing, this will help me stay on track and not waiver off the subject. My best method is a 3 step plan that I utilize and I will discuss each step to effectively be on target.

1. The direct approach, which involves initial contact with people. When talking to prospects, my goal would be to keep things simple and subtle to get them signed up without trying to convince them or sell them about the SFI opportunity. This eliminate stress without being too aggressive. I would interview them and ask questions to peak their interest first and then respond by giving them my business card with my gateway site to evaluate. My closing statement is that this is free to join with no obligation and if they like it and sign up, I will get with back them immediately and answer any questions or concerns to help them get started.

2. The marketing approach, which consists of running advertisements. I would use the same similar method in my ads, which would consists of certain choice words to get them to take action , go to my website, evaluate things and sign up.

3. The 3rd Party Co-Op Tools Approach, which will take all the guesswork out about convincing people to join SFI. It is a smart way,saves time and there is no need to focus on what you need to say in order to get people signed up. It has 2 categories.....

A. The S-Builder Plan. Automactically guarantees you signups each month by participating.
Your investment starts at $24.00
B. The Targeted Online Affiliate Plan. For those who seriously want to get people to join fast. You can control the results by knowing exactly how many people you want in your business, based on your how much you are willing to invest.
Your investment starts with as little as $25.00

With all this being said, the thing that also sticks in my head about this question is convincing people to join SFI , so I have may have a different mindset about that. SFI always keep things simple, so trying to convince people about joining can allow your thought process to get a bit complicated. In my opinion, we really don't have go out of our way to prod and convince people to join this opportunity. Most are concerned about what to do with them when they do sign up.

One of benefits of gaining additional streams of income would be to qualify and maintain your status as an EA every month.Without doing this,you are missing so much and will only get paid on your direct sales,so being an EA is the key.It takes a sacrifice and a commitment to do it...so get the right mindset about being successful and lock in your position by setting up a Standing Order and guarantee your safety net in the business.It will allow you to requalify each month and earn commissions whether you are able to log in or not to score your needed Versapoints.Make sure that your Team is aware and know the great benefits of a Standing Order too.It is an investment and it makes good sense to have one.What you think and your attitude about it will transmit all thru your downline,so please don't cripple yourself and miss out on your future earnings by not knowing or understanding the importance of the Standing Order .

The best way way to learn (after SFI Training)about advertising using the internet when you are a complete novice is to follow instructions and apply those things first.SFI Training is always foremost and will keep you on track.You are looking for results,so you make adjustments as you go along and soon you will be able to be creative and use some of your own personal ideas. If you are lucky enough to have a great sponsor that is having a lot of success in advertising , apply some of the things that they are willing to share with you.

One thing to remember is to have patience and allow your advertising to work and once you start seeing success, continue doing that until you get the results that you want..

It is always a good idea to recruit family members into SFI although it has its pros and cons.

Family members can be okay and also a bane to your success based on the relationships that you have with them. You can't always get family to join you in business ventures,so don't get upset when they turn you down.If they are very supportive of you, it may be great, but if they are not, I would avoid trying to recruit them.

Somtimes it may be necessary to go outside of family if they are negative,judgemental, and critical of you.It is best to follow your instincts on this one and do what works best for you.

The first thing that I do is set up my Active Team Member Base each month.Let me help you understand and clarify this so you will know exactly what I'm saying to you. In a nutshell, if you don't have one , you are fooling yourself about being successful in SFI.

What is my ACTIVE TEAM?

My Active Team is that group of PSA's and CSA's that log in their Home Page and score Versapoints,starting out each month! If they don't do that, they are not on my Active Team. I spend all of my valuable time enhancing my Leadership and coaching skills thru personal emails and group communication letters to motivate , encourage and lead this group to score as many points as they can and work toward making EA status each month. It doesn't matter whether they score 1pt or 10,000 pts, they are the workers contributing to my Total Group Versapoint Activity each month.

I don't waste time getting frustrated about others in my downline because they are not doing anything or logging in ever so often.They are just as important,and are still in my organization, so I try to keep the right mindset about them. I know that I'm morally obligated to help them , so they get a communication letter from me 1 time each month where I show support and encouragement. I look at my Geneology and see all of the "0" Versapoint Affiliates, and others who may have scored points in the past, but have fallen by the wayside. These are the ones that get 1 communication letter from me each month. I usually set my Geneology mailer up to do both groups at the same time so I take care of that every month and move on.

Being on the right Track......

I'm concerned about My Active Team now.. so I watch and monitor them carefully. They are the ones that are already motivated, so I piggyback off them and put fuel to the fire. Whenever an Affiliate gets back active, by scoring pts, I always welcome them back to my Active Team and I do the same with the "0" Versapoint Affiliates using the Stream post.

For the new Associates , my welcome letter is automatically sent out when they first sign up thru SFI. Once they log in their SFI Home Page and start scoring Versapoints , I set them up in my personal email Contact List and and contact them immediately. I also use the Stream post to welcome them to my Active Team.

I have various emails that I send out constantly and all thru the month to help those on my Active Team who desire to be successful and make money in SFI , but they have to make commitments, be willing to follow instructions and allow me to be their coach.

My general concern was what to say and how to say it to get responses and a lot of people in my group do email me back. I have built up great relationships because they feel that I'm genuinely concerned about their success and a lot of them are still on my Active Team every month.

I'm constantly working and fine tuning my system to be more effective and to get better results.

The number of affiliates that you need to sponsor each month will vary based on the opinions of many, so no set answer is either right or wrong. It's the quality of affiliates who will make commitments and not the quantity that is more important than anything else. The most common goal is to find your 1st serious 5 people who will actually get active, work, move up to EA status and maintain it each month. In my opinion, you should at least sponsor 5 to 10 Affiliates a month, a great indicator to strive for.You will never know who will actually work the SFI business and move forward, but as long as you constantly and persistently add new affiliates, it would be the key to helping you build a successful business. This process should be ongoing and never ending.

The next step would be to lay out your blueprint, step by step and help those 5 serious people to reach the same goals. We usually refer to them as the Executive Team. Spend all your valuable time coaching , coordinating ,working and building this team to do the same as you By the yard it is hard , but by the inch it is a cinch, if you get them one by one. In the end , results are what you are looking for. Your Team should then understand the Power of Duplication and how it really works.........
