To answer this question correctly (without making assumptions) without knowing your exact items or methods of obtaining the items.

There are circumstances that need to be addressed to fully answer this I will focus on what I believe are the most important factors.

1. Digital items for sale. Sell these to everybody no physical shipping involved.
2. Drop Shipped items. Sell wherein the company delivery areas.
3. Items that are Red Hot and that are in such a great demand or Rare. Sell to anyone who will pay your asking price.
4. Items that are high demand in another country sell to that country.
5. Unique invention or handcrafted items. Call me crazy sentimental but I always offer these to my family or friends first. But you don't have to stop there. You could start a fad of your own!

If your more comfortable taking it slow and starting locally then do that. In the business of selling products folks are always looking for the "Newly listed; newly available; Now available in a new area.....It is in every Seller's interest to keep folks shopping and looking for those "New" items to purchase.

I started with $41.75 and did the slowly growing myself. I only did the local thing for a while and yes I made a shipping error a time or two myself. Sometimes folks just want to buy with free shipping only and I made the errors offering those items and miscalculating the weight or forgetting I was offering free shipping and not adding it to the price I wanted.

As a new ECA the main concern is getting the listing details right on the item size and weight. The description is important too. A little kitty cat trinket doesn't sound as appealing as "An Adorable Miniature Orange Striped Cat Collectible Figurine." With the final important detail of correctly pricing the item and shipping costs if you offer free shipping.

Well I would say that depends on your own budget.
You decide what products will work best for you and since IAHBE was business related you could get a mix of TripleClicks gift cards, PSA's to go, Business cards, flyers and so forth until you get your 1500 VP. Your expense budget would need to be larger with this method however your business should grow much quickly than if you went with just the T credits.

Or you go with personal products you use and would otherwise buy anyway. Laundry soap, cleaning supplies, Soap and shampoo, Vitamins. You would just need to redirect your personal expenses to SFI. Again this will be a higher price than the T credits.

Some of these items are available in larger quantities like the gallon of Laundry soap so you could make samples to give to friends and neighbors and then it could be possible that you generate TripleClicks sales and offset your cost for your standing order.

Well this question can only be answered by you.

Which one would you relate to the most? Which group do your unique talents that you bring to the table would appeal to them?

Allow me to explain. If you are a homemaker then you can establish a more personal relationship with other homemakers. You know their problems and can provide solutions based on your own experience.

Being a leader of your team is being a problem solver or as I like to call it obstacle remover. Having team members that you can help is a far better asset than anything else. I understand that my team needs my help in this business to be successful. Having some things in common helps to make communication easier. And fewer complications is what every leader needs.

But that being said the homemaker target may cover both young folks and older folks who are retired and also male and female referrals. So may be a better option to appeal to a variety or have a bigger audience. And may mean more affiliates for you to lead.

What an interesting question.

First you need a company that specializes in just that kind of service.
You will need to choose one with an Excellent reputation and one that will make your drop shipping venture profitable. After registering with the company make sure you can order the product and then send it directly to your customer and receive the order tracking number. Folks buying on the internet these days expect items to get to them quickly.

Many of these companies expect a representative to reach a certain sales quota for you to keep using their services (even Avon is like that now). There are some big name companies that also require a monthly order from you to be an affiliate(Melaleuca). And there are some that require you to sell only their products(Tupperware).

Because many new SFI affiliates are looking for ways to purchase useful things they already buy; I would look for products that fill that need. Items that are available in a large quantity from a drop shipper that folks can add to their SO would seem the most desirable and profitable to me.

Lastly I would inform your customers you are a representative of that company. Of course some products identify themselves for you.

Well that is a million dollar question. The correct answer is SELL. If you only have a little bit of investment you only get a little bit of return. So you need either a lot of money or a lot of time. And you should set up sales goals.

Here at SFI we have a lot of help. A whole store full of items to promote. You can recruit every shopaholic you know. We all know who our shopaholic relatives and friends are. And we have the scoop of knowing what they like to buy also.

Then you can explain that becoming an SFI affiliate is a great way to get a discount off those things they like to purchase. And in time buy nicer things.

Then you can explain that if they get their shopping buddies to do the same they can earn an extra paycheck and be able to shop even more.

Cost to do these things $0 lots of time and effort selling.

Now if you have your own money and little time than I would say you become a shopaholic yourself and buy what you feel is best for building your business and add in a little something special as a reward for reaching your little sales goals towards big success.

I waited to post this and gave your question some thought.

I am still a new affiliate. I am more of a shopper of TripleClicks than anything else right now.
I get a few referrals a week and try to get them active. Most join thinking they are going to make some big money without spending any time or money.

If I had Identified 5 that are working and seriously wanting to earn that big paycheck. Then my next new active affiliate would be passed down the line. It is a given that a star may disappear from action. No worries that I passed members to them their 1st level now becomes my first level.

So I vote yes you should develop more stars but only to pass them down to your Bigger stars.

Keep on trying. More businesses fail because of owners giving up.

Pointing out the benefits can also be helpful. I treat my business as both a shopping experience to support TripleClicks and a way to get a small discount or refund off the items I want to purchase and a place to sell some items I want to sell and a place to recruit other like minded individuals to join me.

If I were to own a restaurant and was a new owner I would have to invest a whole lot more time and a whole lot more money and then if I don't get all of even the tiniest details absolutely perfect and correct I would lose it all.

SFI is a proven working business model that is free and you can investing as much time and as much money as you can afford. Investing only $50 a month for even as long as 2 years to get to a point where you are making money is well worth the effort and the money when you consider that a typical new restaurant owner doesn't make anything for the first 3 to 5 years. Pays a lot more than $1200 to open it. And works 80 plus hours a week.

Perhaps you should send the stressed out affiliate a Gift Card to purchase something with or some T credits to play some games or tell them to take a few vacation days to think it over and go over the best options for them. In the End Thank them for being on your Team and help them with your guidance or your up-line's guidance for we can only demonstrate how to be successful to our Team members their success is ultimately up to them.

In my experience there are two "natural" ways to get on page one of a search page.

1. Unique daily visitors. I know it sounds odd but to get high in the rankings your site must be BUSY. There are countless Traffic Exchanges you can join for free for this.

2. Update content. I say again update content. Visitors to your site need and like to see fresh material. Adding a forum with interesting topics keeps regular traffic. Adding interesting daily tips, quotes, holiday quips etc. use your imagination. Updating weekly is also an option if daily is not possible for you. Make it feel friendly and personal and yet professional. Add a streaming video or music box there are free sites out there where you can get those too. Put a few of the SFI and TripleClicks banners on the page.

Now there are also paid professionals and website upgrades you can pay for that use their own methods to bring you up in the ranks. Just be careful and get recommendations from the many professional marketing experts right here on SFI your Team Leaders that use this type of recruiting.

Every affiliate has this problem. I would say that the best advice you can get is right here at SFI. So read/re-read all of the Marketing tips available.

Whatever you are doing that is not working stop. Try something else.

Your upline should pass you insider tips or should have a co-op for recruiting in place. Try that.

You could take a tried and true route and let the experts who are passing on their methods through paid referrals take control and although it requires some investment of money it will get those feet in the door. Depending on your budget there are a number of these available. S builder co-ops, PSA packages and Auctions for PSA's are available daily.

Here are some tips for recruiting for free:
If you are advertising online change where you are advertising at. If many SFI folks are using the same place to advertise your ads will not bring forth as many possible new affiliates.
If you have written a blog and are advertising it change where you are promoting it.
Try a social networking.. Write your own recruiting ad and post it Use your own email as a contact me for information. This way your recruit will have more information directly from you their sponsor.

Look for a forum where you can talk to other folks about both SFI and TripleClicks. Doing your homework about the forum and bring in available products pertaining to the forum subjects that may attract customers is ideal. For instance a forum for folks interested in new technology would be a great place to attract affiliates for the electronic Auctions. These people are wanting to buy already and could see the potential of acquiring those items for a fraction of the cost.

One inexpensive method of recruiting is buying banner ads there are many for sale on TripleClicks.

Although I am still new here on SFI I am not new to internet marketing and have had some success in affiliate marketing already. As a result I use some paid to methods to help me with marketing expenses. There are many programs available for free ad credits and even some that have both ad credits and cash money. So if your advertising on the program and it doesn't get you referrals the money you earn could go towards a paid ad that could be more effective.

No matter the method you use keep trying different ones until you get results and don't give up or surrender.

There are lots of different affiliate companies. Most are not as diversified as SFI.
They either have 1 to 10 niche products and a compensation plan much smaller than SFI or they don't really have a real product worth purchasing and are selling you pipe dream.

I personally prefer to use other programs to enrich my SFI business instead of jumping ship and running to a new unproven opportunity.

So my advice would be stay so focused on SFI that when you see a new opportunity you can see the flaws in it because of the success of SFI.

Focusing on a new marketing company that could get your SFI income to double or triple is a better idea. Focus on becoming an ECA and look for a unique opportunity to offer products on TripleClicks. Take the many different success stories in SFI and break them down. Not everybody chooses the exact same formula.

Some are successful selling on TripleClicks and they are in the background hiding but their stores are ranked high. Some members do really well selling the items they won at auction. Some members have managed to recruit a boatload of folks in their downlines.

Sometimes I work very hard and get less accomplished than when I just work smart.
SFI is a work smart kind of business. You can try focusing on another income avenue here between TripleClicks and SFI than the one your on now and then you already your "New" opportunity.

The grass on the other side of the fence may be greener but that just means you'll have to mow more often.
