If you were asked to make a presentation about SFI to an organization, what would you tell them about SFI?

It depends on the purpose of the presentation...
For ECA:
SFI has a world-wide business that has contractors/affiliates in almost every country on earth. The affiliate in this countries are readily available to market and sell your product to a whole new demographic. I would encourage them to package their product that it could be used on a global scale.
For prospective affiliates:
SFI is a global entity that has allowed thousands of people the opportunity to leave their full-time employment and join the ranks of the self-employed business owners. SFI has paid out millions of dollars to affiliates and continually shares information to assist in many others become financially independent. SFI fosters the TEAM mentality and there are many other affiliates, around the world, who are always available to assist in your desire - whether to retire early, become wealthy, or simply to have a larger opportunity for global investments.

What are the best ways to set up an advertising co-op for my affiliates?

I believe that one of the best ways to setup the co-op would be to allow the affiliates that are meeting certain goals to receive, FREE OF CHARGE, shares of the advertising. If you do your own advertising, advise your affiliates that you will give them 1 share per "goal" that is met, or something like that.
If you have the S-Builder co-op, just allow them to join in your affiliate shares. The point is, you want your downline to feel as though they are being rewarded by their "leader" for successfully moving up the SFI ladder.
Everyone wants to hear "well done," that is why you MUST reward their efforts.

The question suggests, "What are the best ways by which one can measure his/her success?"
I believe this question has a very simple response to it. The best way... the ONLY way by which anyone can measure success is by first having something by which they can compare it to. If there is no standard, success can't be measured.
So, my question is - what is your goal? What are/were you attempting to accomplish and then we can judge how close you came to that goal.

I believe that the answer to this question is quite simple. I know that everyone is probably trying to use some profound answer that will be THE answer; but the truth of the matter is that there is no single ONE gateway that trumps all others.
What I have discovered is that you might need to become a little creative with the current gateway entries. Different people are easier with different gateways. Try all of them and see how they work - then you would have found your winner.

What is the most effective promotion/incentive you have offered your downline to become (or requalify as) an EA?

I have tried to do something different with my affiliates that are continually active EA's. I win my PB auctions just so that I can win gifts for my affiliates. Little cheap items that I win, I just give them away to my top affiliates. I advise the affiliate that I will pay shipping (if USA) to send the item to them if they... my challenges are always for my affiliates to keep them working - when they do reach certain levels, I reward them with a PB auction gift, simple as that!

I love being a Bronze Team Leader. I ensure that every month I am a Bronze Team Leader for two reasons - the first reason is that I really love taking part of the TC pool. Receiving shares of the pool ensures that every month, I am able to financially be compensated for the other affiliates in my organization that are working too.
The other benefit of being a BTL is that every month I receive FREE CSA's.
What's best to sell at TripleClicks? Cheap things or more expensive/more valuable items?

The question is whether cheap or more expensive/valuable things should be sold on TripleClicks...
I know that there are many people who suggest that you should always look to sell valuable things; however, I would suggest that you remember your complete audience, when selling. Many of the people who are involved with SFI are currently in areas outside of the US - truth be told. As an American, I need to remember that if my associates in Thailand have to pay an EXTREME shipping on a $3 item, they probably won't. That is why I totally suggest selling items that have inexpensive shipping.
If I am selling an item that is ONLY for the country that I live, then it is fine, but if I am looking to sell internationally, I NEED to consider the shipping. They won't buy, what they can't get.

When I was looking to start a newsletter for my affiliates, I believe that I was in the same position as you are currently. I wanted to know what to write about, so I picked my brain and tried to come up with something.
After spending many days scratching my own head, I asked my upline what their thoughts were regarding the subject. I wanted to know if they knew what the "right" thing to write about, was. Then, not receiving the answers that I think I was looking for, I went to my A2A's. Then I got the answer...
I was told that I was going about it all wrong. You don't decide what to tell others; you find out what others need to hear, then you style your remarks around their needs. There is no way for us to know what your affiliates need, but you CAN find out. Send them a note, create a poll asking about some of their weak areas, strengths, some of their fears, some of their highlights. Ask them about their successes and also find out about their desired future. Once you get this... you'll have your answer.

How can we reassure our downline to continue their activity with SFI after the recent cyber-attack?

The one thing that I noticed in all of the attacks was that SFI was right on it. I would be concerned if this attack took weeks to come back from, but the same day of the attack, SFI shut everything down and found a way to get its clients, us, back up and running.
I appreciate a company that is proactive. We all know that there are going to be problems, so it isn't a matter of IF there will something wrong, but rather are we prepared for it WHEN it goes wrong.
I would dare say that SFI was well-prepared & for that, I am glad to be a part of such an illustrious organization. My affiliates have been notified that I am doing everything I can also, to ensure that each of them comes back and is able to continue on with their business.
You have to love SFI!!!!

Who is the better demographic to target in my ads? Retired persons...or homemakers?

The question as to who is a better person to market to is almost unnecessary. The quick response to that question would be - both.
Both groups provide an extra perspective that SFI and your business, actually, could benefit from. The retired person has the opportunity and free time to really make this business move forward. Because there aren't but a few hours in the day that can actually be spent doing certain aspects of the business, a retired person becomes the BEST person to assist with the extra hours needed.
A homemaker, although at home, probably doesn't have all the "extra" time that retirees have, but they come with a different benefit - resources. The homemaker probably has a good allotment of daily resources - grocery stores, dry cleaners, department stores, schools, associations, friends, etc.
A homemaker can really help with marketing, while the retiree can assist with promoting those marketing opportunities... Use them both!!!
