How can you be an SFI Team Leader if you're not a born leader?

Good question you have here. But I will like to agree with the saying that "leaders are not born but made". SFI is making leaders because of her well structured program which is designed for that purpose. Anyone who truly dedicates him/herself to SFI will surely become a leader not just in SFI alone but in any endeavor.
Having said that, let us look at some of the qualities of a leader.
1. Commitment
Showing commitment means doing what you want your PSAs to be doing. The message of DUPLICATION is centred around this. By proving your commitment to your business, you will not only earn the respect of your team, but will also instill that same hardworking energy among your PSAs.
2. Communication
Communication plays a big role in the life in the life of every leader.
We are admonished to always communicate with our team either through Genealogy mailer, PSA, CSA mailer and stream post. There are so much training materials in SFI to improve one's communication.
3. Positive Attitude
Making your team happy and upbeat by sharing nice tips, rewarding their hard work with GC, TC means they won't mind those extra hours in doing the daily action points and other activities that improve their business.
These are just some attributes of a leader that SFI instills in every affiliate. Follow the program wholeheartedly, do your daily, weekly and monthly actions, be an awesome sponspr, and you are sure to become a leader with a flourishing team

I have experience with in-person presentations, direct mail, trade shows, handing out biz cards, network at events, etc. Can offline marketing be as effective for my SFI business as online marketing?

Hi Ann,
I will to encourage to continue with your offline marketing only because you seem comfortable with it, but it is also a very effective part part your of SFI business.
I enjoy warm marketing a lot, most of my PSAs and PRMs have come from that area. Again it works very well when you are a leader of some sort or someone look up to.
All said, you should also try to combine with other online strategies to grow and expand your business in a very short time.

Now to your question, all the lessons are wonderful, but lesson #3 really caught my attention as a beginner. It really explain the type of life majority of people live, where one works and works and one day retirement comes and one finds that there is no finance to lean on.
I have seen it happen practically to people I know. They worked with very good companies with good pay cheques and they are the envies of friends and families. And all of a sudden they retire and you are surprised to see them begging and then you wonder what had happened to the money they had.
The problem was the source dried up and they did not have any form of RESIDUAL and LEVERAGE incomes set in place.
This lesson captivates me a lot, that I usually send it to my prospects who fall in that category. It is the best for me as I'm sure it will be for most Affiliates.

Since SFI has been around for many years, is the playing field fair for someone who have just started in SFI like me?

This is a great question because it is always in the mind of starters.
SFI provides a level playing field for all of its Affiliates. Just look at it this way:
1. Every new Affiliate starts with just 2 badges( Affiliate and TripleClicks member) and are given equal amount of FREE VPs (Getting Started, Daily, Intermediate, etc) to start with.
2. Everyone has the same access to the information we read everyday on SFI page, Ask SC, Forum etc.
3. The most exciting is that every Affiliates( Both old and new) try to do the same thing every new month. We all try to have new PSAs, PRMs and get to the rank of EA( the most important rank in SFI) every month.
It worthy of note that no one is more favoured than the other but what you put in your business determines your height.
Also, never see yourself as competing with any Affiliates. Just do your bit and your bit will take you to the next level.

How can I build a successful SFI business when I have a team of inactive affiliates and doubtful customers for my TripleClicks store?

It takes PATIENCE and PERSEVERANCE and mix them up with SELF BELIEF. Though it can be frustrating, you just have to carry on doing your business being fully persuaded that you will make it. This is where SELF BELIEF comes in.
Continue doing your daily, weekly and monthly SFI chores. Keep on advertising both online and offline.
Do everything and anything that will grow your business, and do all you can to succeed because your success will make your PSAs become active.

SFI represents multiple income earning opportunities. Should I focus on just one, some, or ALL?

In anything you do, it is best you apply the SWOT (Strength Weakness Opportunity Threats) analysis.
SFI did that on you already. Go back to your goals tab and click on "Edit Goals" to find out the areas that are best appealing and least appealing to you, the strategies that are best suited to you and so on.
If you successfully find that out, you will discover that is where you will naturally start from.
Gradually, you begin to discover other opportunities which you can easily succeed in.
For example, if you like meeting people, you will discover you want to tell everyone you meet about the business and before long you will start bringing in PSAs, PRMs and even ECAs.
In summary, build on your strength and more opportunities will be opened up to you.

Interesting question.
First, I regret not starting SFI when I was initially given the invitation. Many months passed before I started, and I still feel I had wasted time I would have used in building my business.
Second, not being able to be a fast tracker and getting the badge also, is something I would have loved to change if given the opportunity. Before I could know about it, it was already too late.
Third, is similar to the second. Not being about to progress through any of the rounds of the E365 challenge and at least making it to the final rounds still hurts. I did not know about it and no one told me.
These are obviously the things I would love to change if given the opportunity to start all over again.

Well, any style you use can be great. One blog can also be very effective depending on the creativity you put into your write up.
With one blog, you can do a good write that can generate for you, PRMs, PSAs, Wave3 members and so on. Just link your write up very well and you are there!

Having said that, and based on my personal experience, the reason why I joined SFI is:
* It is FREE to join because I don't to put my hard earn money on something someone just introduced me to.
*Again the FREE TRAINING resources that will be available. I want to learn and know what I will be spending my time and money on.
There so many things that can convince someone to join SFI but these two attracted me the most because those are my needs.
BUT if you are doing an advert for people you don't know at all, it is good you list as many reasons as possible so you can cut across almost everyone's need.
