Everybody can see any news that ECAs post on their TConnect Page. Just go to any TConnect page and you will see any news the individual or ECA posted.

As for the type of news, keep it relevant to your store and products. I see many stores that sell products that aren't related to the stores original purpose and this is not the way to run a business. Likewise, posting about things not related to your business is not business like. People have to realize that is what an ECA is, a business opportunity. ECA stands for E-Commerce Associate and associates work for a business.

If you add new products, post a brief description of the product. If you are forced to remove a popular product for any reason, give your buyers a reason as to why it was removed. If you set up your own personal website, let everybody know about it in the news section.

Think of it as a bulletin board from any place you have worked. The information posted there was information relating to the business for your benefit. Keep this in mind when posting to your own. Provide your clients with relative information that will help them.

This brings up the topic of quality versus quantity once again. Is it better to have ECAs making you x amount of dollars a month, or PSAs earning you x amount of dollars a month. This is something that everybody has to determine for themselves.

Some people don't live in an area, or may just not be able to refer ECAs that can actually sell products. However, somebody may just need to refer 1 ECA to start making a good amount of money. It's easier to get a quality ECA than it is PSA, but you probably won't earn as much.

Others may have difficulty getting PSAs that are active. Quantity usually isn't an issue, but quality is. You may buy 200 PSAs from a PriceBender auction, and only a few are actually taking the initiative to work here at SFI. But when affiliates work, they work hard!

People will just have to experiment with what works best. Ultimately, I would say not to limit yourself to either. If you limit yourself, you are holding yourself back.

First of, they have to realize that without TripleClicks, there isn't SFI. Encourage your affiliates to try to make a few sales, especially to their affiliates. Once they realize how much they can earn from TripleClicks, they will realize the power that it holds.

Make sure they set up a standing order for 1500 VP as well. I realize not everybody can do this, but that is where you have to give them advice. Such as two packs of 20 TCredits earns more VP than one 50 pack. The cost is also lower, but they get less TCredits as well. Also, two 10 packs earns more VP than one 20 pack, but will cost more for the same amount of TCredits.

Also, make sure they are buying/selling useful items. If they don't have a way to use what they are purchasing, then it is somewhat a waste of time and money for them. Also, make sure they are selling stuff that actually has a value, and not advertising things somebody is pulling out of their basement.

I believe we can tell them that they need to invest all we want, but we have to show them in order to prove that they will benefit greatly by investing. Look at the power rankings any time. How did those people get there? Not by sitting around and hoping.

They invested money and time. Now they probably had more to invest than others. We are all limited to an extent. But this isn't a reason to become discouraged, it's a new level to reach for. It's a new challenge to compete in and if we want to win, we can't just sit on the side lines and yell, hoping they stop the race.

Write them a motivational message. It doesn't have to be long, just get to their emotions and use the facts you have available. Often, these people have some money to invest, they just have reservations about it, which is perfectly natural. But the problem is, sometimes people are too calculating, and this leads to a decision against investing since there is a risk of getting no return. What they fail to realize is that a slow return is better than no return, eliminating the risk. They can't factor risk into an equation, so they don't see that their isn't really an equation, besides the one in their head.

I don't think there is any one right answer because everybody benefits from some things more than others. But the thing is, there are a lot of us here that are benefiting greatly because of all that we have available.

Speaking of all that we have available, that is what has made the difference with me. All these resources pooled together into one website and we have it sitting at our fingertips. Banners, gateways, and articles on how to successfully advertise. The list goes on and on as to what we have available.

We can advertise SFI, TripleClicks, Wave3, PriceBender auctions, IAHBE, ECA stores...I think we all get the point. The potential is limitless with all of this ready and waiting for us to take advantage of it. That is what annoys me most about most of my PSAs and CSAs. They only log in when they sign up. They are leaving all this potential, all of these resources, behind.

Many affiliates you will receive will only allow about a 5 to 10 minute window before they are gone for good. So the ones that stick around for an hour or two are going to be your best bet.

Introduce yourself, explain about yourself relating to SFI ("I joined in x month of x year"), give a goal or two your have set for yourself at SFI, and end this first paragraph after just a few lines. You want them to realize that you are a real person!

Before you start the second paragraph, look over what they have done between the time they signed up and now. Congratulate them on signing up, becoming an A2A member, getting the Fast Track achievement, and so on. You want to make them feel good about their choices.

Finally, in your last paragraph, which is really only one sentence, ask that they message you back so that you can continue to help them because you are the one who knows more here.

Conclude saying something along the lines of "Hope to hear from you soon", add your name at the end, and send. All in all, the entire message should be about the same length or shorter as the middle 3 paragraphs of this answer. Brevity, introduction, congratulations, and encouraging communication are all important factors for getting your new affiliate engaged and conversing.

This depends on if you prospects are reading this information off or your website, or if you are telling it to them in person. The concept is the same, but the approach will be different.

With either situation, you will have to get them hooked in QUICKLY! But I don't recommend you use a lie like most websites will saying "I earned $1,000 last week in 5 minutes."

On a website, you will need to give them a reason to keep reading. Offering them a free gift, like 10 TCredits if they sign up and message you, is a great way to keep people interested. They don't know what TCredits are yet, but everybody wants something for free.

In person, you will more than likely end up talking to somebody that think you're trying to sell them a scam. I typically avoid this conversation with friends because it can cause problems if they think you are trying to scam them. If somebody asks what you do for a living, tell them what you do if you have another job, and then tell them you earn money online from a company that has been around since 1998. This is a great time to use the business cards if you bought/made some.

If your website works out, but you seem to be getting a lot of questions in your SFI inbox, consider adding a FAQ to the website to save yourself some time, but make sure that you always reply to the questions in your inbox. And realize some people won't read the FAQ.

If the person you are talking to has questions, answer them. Make sure you know your stuff though. Most people won't ask difficult questions, but make sure you can answer any question that might come at you. If you fail to answer a question, you might as well take your business card back and apologize for wasting their time.

On your website, you won't have to sell somebody on SFI, because most likely, it's what they are actually looking for, but just don't realize it. However, in person is different. You will have to convince them that you are in a legitimate program without saying anything to the effect. Don't say "it's not a scam" or "they are legit" because that introduces even more skepticism to what they already have. If they ask something about this, it's a good time to know your Growth tab. Knowing about how many members, how often somebody signs up, how many products are available, etc. can save your tail here.

All in all, don't feed them crap, know your stuff, and be positive!

Promoting PriceBenders auctions is a great way to earn money because people have to constantly buy and use TCredits. TCredits are extremely good for selling as they earn you a good deal of money. And you might even get somebody that buys other things from the rest of the TripleClicks website.

So promoting auctions is a good idea, and not that difficult. You could easily post them on a social media site and have some attention fairly easily. If you have a Facebook and a lot of friends, you could post a current auction saying you hope you win item x for item x. Or similarly, post that you won item x for x at the auction. Show off what you get basically.

I personally use the first method as I have yet to win anything in the auction. So for all I know, I might not be getting some shoppers because I haven't advertised what PriceBenders auctions have done for me.

Another idea is to make a blog and post the prior days great deal to show what is possible. This obviously requires logging in every day, but most people do that any ways.

Ultimately, you should consider what you would like to see if you were the shopper.

If both are easy options for you, then you should consider doing both. In fact, even if they aren't both easy options, you should strive for both.

TripleClicks members can get you the capital that you might need right now. If you don't have the money to invest in S-Builder or keep yourself at EA status, you should consider this. Most people won't last as long as a SFI referral though.

SFI referrals take time to build their down line, as you will, so the return will be gradual. However, you don't want to wait 6 months to start seeing some returns, so don't just stick to referring people to SFI. Unless you can get a down line of people willing to invest a lot of money.

Either way, you shouldn't restrict yourself to one or the other. Many people have what they prefer, but both sides have benefits and disadvantages. If you can achieve both, go for both. If you find yourself doing better with one of the options, consider doing it more, or trying to improve the option that is lacking. Achieving both will make your SFI experience much better.
