Regardless of your origin, your gender, your age, your background (Geographic, Education, religious, economic etc) your are welcomed in SFI.

I feel the actual meaning of the phrase "Global village" can be observed in SFI.

The opportunity is for all, provided you have the capabilities of availing it.

You are from Africa, someone is from Pakistan or India or China, it makes no difference. Infact our community is spread over 190 countries and the number is growing by seconds not by years, months or even days. See it yourself:

We are all the affiliates working in SFI.

In fact SFI is more cautious about its members from far flung areas and working hard trying to facilitate them.

Facilities like:

a) ECA program (Take you global! Reach millions of potential customers worldwide on one of the fastest growing, international e-commerce sites on the Web)
b) Local search (To remove cultural and geographical barriers)
c) Local pay (To remove foreign exchange and currency barriers)
d) TCurrency (Making it easy to involve in commercial activities)

f) Members Rewards Points (MRPs)
g) Availability of Translation tab on every page. (To remove even the language barrier)

are a few to be mentioned regarding SFI's efforts for making all of us feel at home as a family where everyone is of equal importance.

So if you want to succeed in SFI then what you need to do is follow the basic rules that are for every one be it a new affiliate, or any other member in a higher rank.

1) Read as much as you can. Be it a simple tip, an a2a stream post, Forum discussion, ASK SC question and answers or everything in the drop down menu on the home page that states training.

2) Acquire the EA rank and retain it every month.

3) Advertise your gateways and build your downline as much as you can.

If you do so no matter from where you belong your success is confirmed.

I think if you have honestly fulfilled your duties as a sponsor; That is you have facilitated and supported your downline and was available for them when they needed you, then you need not to worry about the rating.

SFI's automated alerts will notify all those who are suppose to submit ratings for their sponsors and others in the upline and if they want to they will submit ratings.

This rating will earns them 10 VPs also.

What you can do personally is that mention the upcoming rating date in your stream post or weekly team mail.

HI,

For me! I think of all the tools that SFI has provided its affiliates to use and develop their business the best or I would say the basic one is the training program.

I claim this because all the other tools be it genealogy, Communication, Co-op manager, Gift certificate manager, Reassignment manager, Affiliate manager, Lifetime Custom Prestige Domain, Hit Tracking, Key Code Tracking are useful only if we have the proper training of how to use these and many other tools to make our SFI business successful.

The amount of training provided by SFI to its affiliates and that also without any cost is actually amazing.

If an affiliate really wants to succeed and use all the above mentioned Power Tools properly then he/she will have to first take the training.

The importance of Training is proven from the fact that every Power tool provided have with them a link that will guide you to the page where you will get the training and information on how to use that tool.

SFI was once new to all of us. Even those who started it were at one point new to the idea. So how did all these who are so successful and to whom we all look up for guidance accumulated this knowledge. They all have one thing in common. READING! They are all readers and that is the key. Success Rule #8: Leaders are readers. And to be a successful leader we all have to develop this characteristic in us too. In this way we will truly be helpful to our team.

But friends there is an important fact that applies everywhere and we should never forget it. Fully Support your downline but also teach them to adopt the habit of reading and to use all the available resource and try finding answers themselves. SFI encourage its affiliates to take full responsibility of their business. Success rule #7: YOU make it happen, no one else. We should also follow the same principle.

In short, "Don't just give them what they need rather teach them the way to get what they need".

First of all you need to explain how ECA exactly work. This is because most of the new affiliates are not familiar with ECA's working. After that you can actually ask them to participate in the promotion of your ECA.

Some incentives will surely motivate the affiliates to promote your products and services.

Incentives can be in the form of gift packs, some services or even facilitating them to reach certain goal in SFI.

Even though I am new in SFI but there are people here who have made me feel so comfortable with the atmosphere that I feel I am part of SFI for a long time. This is the quality that I am trying to inculcate in myself too. This quality of a team leader is what will produce the following results.

2. Stronger bond between SFI community.
and obviously;
3. The growth of SFI which is actually the growth of everyone affiliated to SFI.

I think it is quite difficult for an outsider to understand the importance and utility of W3. But when we will explain how they can earn Tcredits and MRPs by becoming the member of W3 wave and how they can use these Tcredits and MRPs for purchasing their favourite stuff at TripleClicks with out spending any money. I am sure this will motivate them to become W3 member.

In my native language there is a saying. I will translate it in English.

"If a thorn is sharp it is sharp from the very first day".

What I mean to say is that if an affiliate is serious about his/her affiliate business it will be obvious from the very beginning.

1. The attempt to contact me before I send them any welcome message.

2. The inquiries they make. e.g., How to earn VersaPoints, How to generate income.

3. Keeping logged in for long duration every day.

4. Staying above the green line in E365 contest.

5. Getting the fast track badge.

6. Participating in A2A, Stream and SFI Forum.

7. Showing concern about the deadlines.

8. His/her Profile, Goals and interests.

The above mention points show that the affiliate is good and will go a long way and is here to stay with SFI.

It is now the responsibility of the upline to be available, encourage and support such affiliates to move forward as such affiliates are the asset to SFI.

As a teacher and mother I have experienced that better learning takes place when the group consist of same level of individuals. By saying so I am not in any case negating or denying that treasure of experience our seniors have but this is also true that students learn more from each other in groups then from a teacher standing in front of them and giving lecture. Their IQ level, their past experiences, their back ground may vary but if their goal is the same and if they know that they will benefit from the team work then the results are amazing. The concept of peer learning is gaining popularity day by day in educational institutes.

Same rule works here too. I have learnt from SFI training or my Upline but my exchange of thoughts with my A2A friends, The stream posts are also equally helpful.

Being the sponsor means I am the group leader and as a group leader it will be my responsibility to help my PSAs and CSAs both. My first instruction or rather advice will be to Click on the start button and watch the getting started video. Give them the solutions for their queries and if i do not have those solutions try to find out from my group leaders. Along with that discussions with my downline are also helpful. At time you get a more practical advice from your junior then a senior.
