It really depends on how you want to grow your business, but I believe the best investment is in the EA-qualifying purchase. This is because the greatest opportunity for income comes through sponsoring and duplication and, once a team leader, the matching VP shares of the Executive Pool for all of those in your downline. In order to get any of that at all - even just to get YOUR piece of the Executive Pool, you need to be EA. So it's very important to get EA as soon as possible in my opinion.

I suggest making sure you are EA (and encouraging others to do the same), and then invest in advertising after that based on what you have available to invest. (Because also you can always advertise for free through free internet ads, warm marketing, leaving cards and flyers around at places, etc., until you can afford to invest in some of the paid advertising methods).

So I always propose making sure you are EA first AND, even better, becoming fast track (so you get the 10% extra VP for you and all matching VP shares in the Executive Pool).

Hi David,

Thanks for this - it's a great question! I wondered the same thing myself when I started with SFI.

Basically, how you get the most out of MRP really depends on the needs of your business and where you are trying to take it. Here is what I mean...

- If you are near the end of the month and need more purchase VP to reach your desired SFI rank, such as EA or Team Leader, then you can use 126 MRP to purchase 1 T-Credit. It only gives you one T-Credit, but it gives you 102 VP, which is what you really need.

- If you've already reached your required VP, but would like a few extra T-Credits, then you can use MRP to purchase 10 or 20 pack or more of T-Credits. You will spend fewer MRP per T-Credit, but not receive as many VP.

- If you've already reached your required VP and don't need/want more T-Credits, you can use the MRP on many of the 90,000+ products at TripleClicks.... this, again, depends on what you are looking for:
1) Maybe you're looking to grow your business, then maybe use MRP to purchase PSA's, or traffic packages to your gateways, or advertising materials - the 'Grow A Second Income' X-cards are a good choice, found at http://www.tripleclicks.com/detail.php?item=5597.
2) Or if you aren't really looking for additional advertising, then you can browse the list of products on TripleClicks that may interest you. And there are special deals for MRP that can be found at the Member Rewards Store - https://www.tripleclicks.com/member_rewards.php.

So there are a number of ways to gain value from your MRP and as you can see it just depends on where your needs/desires are for your business.

Myself, I try to hold on to and accumulate my MRP until I see a need to use them. By saving some for a rainy day, I know I can always gain some extra needed VP with the 1 T-Credit purchase. And I'll occasionally use them to purchase marketing material.

Hi Sudip - This is very difficult unless you know the person personally. If you don't know them personally, you really can't know what they might be interested in until you do get to know them.

In the beginning, I would recommend (and what I generally do) the following:

1) Briefly explain TripleClicks and what it has to offer
2) Give a short overview of the categories of products (they can then browse the various categories)
3) Explain the purpose of T-Credits and how they can be used in the many games AND PriceBenders penny auctions

Try to communicate as much to them as possible to peak their interest and they will browse the parts of the site that they want more information.

Then - just always make sure to offer any additional questions they have.

I actually offer cash bonuses (or rewards) as incentives for becoming fast track, and then also Team Leader - as well as each fast track member they sponsor. Cash often speaks strongly.

With CSA's just remember that the commission is smaller (i.e., $2.65 on 125 T-Credits and matching VP only on their VP), whereas for PSA's the commission is $7.95 for the 125 T-Credits and matching VP for them PLUS everyone in their downline also.

So if the DVD you send is very inexpensive, it could be worth doing for CSA's also, but save your best incentives for the PSA's where you are building the team below you to grow your income.

Great question and not one easy to answer... but for me, the biggest traits/skills I look for are

1) Interest - sounds silly, but they first have to be interested - so many people never log in again after their first day. I often look in my genealogy to see who has logged in since their join date.
2) "Eagerness" - hard to quantify, but basically do they have a desire to learn? Are they asking you questions? Are they going through the LaunchPad series? These things will tell you if they are really serious about SFI.

That's the hard part - just identify the ones that are serious, and encourage them, and they can be successful in SFI.

The Affiliate Profile can help some, but for the most part, I have found that new affiliates generally don't fill out the profile right away - usually not until after you've sent a welcome letter.

In my experience, new affiliates are exploring SFI and the basics and finding out what it's all about. Often, they don't even know the importance of completing it.

So I just introduce myself in my welcome letter, point them towards the basics and the fast-track options, and ask them what they're looking for with SFI. From their response to me (if I get one :) ), and then their affiliate profile I can develop more of a personal relationship with them to help them along and meet their goals.

In the end, that's the best thing you can get from the affiliate profile - as well as the introductory welcome letter - the ability to create a personal relationship so that they know you are a real person, just like them, doing this business, and wanting to make it succeed for them just as much as yourself.

For me the answer would be definitely no... and no you should not :)

I don't really like that program. I understand, as many have said here, that it is just another way of earning income, but it is NOT the way to go in SFI.

In the first 90 days an affiliate is signed up, the MOST you can earn is $2. Then, IF they become a Team Leader within 90 days, you get another $8. But consider this,

- most affiliates will not even ever log in again after the day they join
- and some of those will never gain even one VP
- and many of those will not become EA
- and finally, very very few will become Team Leader

So the most you will get is $2 and that is only IF the average VP that they earn is within 5% of the average VP earned by non-PPA signups. If your signups don't earn enough VP, then you won't even get $2 each, and could be as low as zero.

So, let's say you get 500 people to sign up in a month (which is alot unless you have a massive advertising campaign), the most you will get is $1000, but probably less than that.

AND you never gain anything from them after the day they sign up:
- For those that DO become active, the commissions from any purchases they make go to someone else
- All of their VP get matched to their sponsor (if the sponsor is a team leader)
- All VP of their downlines get matched to their sponsor (if the sponsor is a team leader)

So now you've recruited 500 people, and there's no guarantee you get a dime, and what you do get will be limited to $1000 (unless 3 months later one of those 500 people becomes team leader and you get another $8).

And all of that coming from EXACTLY the same gateway as if they had signed up as your own PSA (the only difference is sfi4 is replaced with sfippa, but the page looks the same).

So I would much prefer, and it's much better, that if I sign up 500 people, they would be MY PSA's so I can earn commissions on their purchases and try to develop them as team leaders.

It's most effective to focus your resources and energy (both time and money) to find 5 people to become active with this, and then help them find 5 people of their own. That's how you will start really growing your business, whereas the PPA program only promises a SMALL amount of money back to you, and there's not even a guarantee of that! I might feel differently if they promised $2 for every signup, but that's not even a guarantee.

Side note - for you to sign up enough people each month to earn a decent amount of money, you would probably have to spend so much on advertising that you would end up breaking even or losing anyway.

Definitely use your sfi4 gateway, advertise to get your own PSA's and stay away from PPA :)

To be successful, just follow the simple 3-step plan:
1) Make sure you become EA and stay EA each month through a combination of actions and TripleClicks purchases.
2) Find 3 to 5 other people to do the same thing you are doing by any means available to and comfortable for you - word of mouth with friends, family, associates, internet ads or print ads.
3) Teach those people to do the same thing you have done...

That is it - the key to success is staying at a minimum of EA level and promoting SFI to find more to join your team.
