Dear Junnel,

I read in your question that you have this competetiveness edge in you, which is a very great attribute. When you look at SFI, yes it has ben around for a long time and there are affiliates who have been around for ages as well. Some of these affiliates have done quite well for themselves whilst others are just as good as starters.

It is true that if you look at Overall and country rankings, the whole exercise might seem unfair for someone joining today. But I would like to encourage you in that do not focus so much on other people's activities and rankings, focus more on your personal goals and actions to achieve the set goals (remember to ste them SMART).


Remember this is YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS, and not very different if you had a physical business. Whether you started running it 15 years ago or today, its success depends not so much on the duration, but on how well you manage it.

Besides everything else, you will see that SFI has evolved a lot over the years. It had only one product to sell when it started, just as an example, now you have 100s of thousands. there were no ECAs, which were relatively recently introduced. Most countries did not have internet connectivity then, whichis critical for online business, whilst these days you can reach most people, including those who only use their mobile phones. Interenet itself has evolved and you are also growing with it.

In short, THE PLAYING FIELD IS TILTED IN YOUR FAVOR!!!

I believe one becomes a superstar by doing all the RIGHT things that move your business forward and upwards.

These RIGHT things can be all that we are advised by SFI to do, for example;

1. Log in daily and do your daily tasks

2. Being involved in various activities like discussions at the forum, submitting stream posts, participating in the Ask SC tab etc

3. Following the DOs and DONTs of How To Be An Awesome Sponsor

You also become a superstar by investing in your business. Investment in SFI is twofold; Time and Monetary.

You invest in time to log in,communicating with various SFI members-upline, downline, a2a friends, learn with understanding and apply the acquired knowledge effectively.

You also need to invest in money to do activities that will move you in ranks like placing a Standing Order, help you to market the business and do online business like being an IAHBE member.

You also need to be able to identify your target market be, it in recruiting affiliates or selling and come up with strategies to catch their attention and let them participate.

Above all, ensure you are able to motivate your PSAs and CSAs as well as PRMs because these are the people who make the business tick.

What is not very clear is whether you are placing a Standing Order to have the 1500VP or you need a SO just to be able to have more VPs for the month.

The other question is how much money is one able to part with monthly for the SO. Financial challenges might be as low as $1.00/month to as much as $50/month or even more. This is all very relative depending on the world one lives.

Having said that, if you can spend anything up to $37.00/month, I recommend the 125TC pack. It has advantages in that you have the 1500VP to qualify as EA. You are able to use the TC in a lot of ways you wish to, vis;
Pricebenders, where you earn 1VP for each bid, 5-10MRP per bid,of which you may use to buy more TC or other products. You may also Pick The Price for the auction using TC, the list goes on.

You may also opt for IAHBE, to use and prepare yourself in your online business. The choice is yours, depending on what you believe to meet your needs more at a given point and time.

What I normally advise anyone who is financially challenged is to learn as much as one can about SFI business before commiting yourself with moving up the ranks. Once you duplicate and market effectively, the money will definitely start coming in and thereafter you decide how much you can commit to SO.

I am sure one characteristic that encompassess them all is to have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Other characteristics that will spring out from this are:

1.When you have a positive way of looking at your SFI business, you will become PASSIONATE about it.Being passionate about anything in life gives you the drive to learn more about it, you are not shy to speak of it and you will do everything possible to make it a success.

2.We all know that SFI is NOT a Get-Rich-Quick scheme. Therefore indivinduals with Patience will definetily be better suited for SFI.

3. Tenacity/ Perseverance
Before you have the ins and outs of how SFI works, it is easy to get confused, overwhelmed and wanting to quit. It takes someone who is tenacious to keep going.
4. Focus
To be able to be focussed, one needs set goals. Therefore to achieve these goals one needs to be focussed and disciplined. You need to be able to Self- Drive to login, do what you are required to do (Daily, Weekly, Monthly tasks) and what you have set yourself to do.
5. Friendliness, Accommodative, Tolerance- we 'interact' globally with people of different cultures, languages, beliefs etc as we conduct our online business. We have to to be able to deal with the diversity of people we 'meet' as in SFI support group, Upline, Donline, PRMs, various customers etc.

In most cases new affiliates are not able to get along in the new busness they are in, unless they are properly guided by their Upline.

New affiliates should NOT do the following in their first month;
1.Work without setting SMART goals and action plans. Tackling SFI buiness without goals is futile.

2. Score Versa Points from their To-Do-List, Launchpad or any other readily available source without reading and understanding what this is all about. In other words, new affiliates need to read, understand and only then score VPs

3. Expect to get rich quickly or a huge check within the first month. Yes there are a few who are very well versed with intertnet Marketing such that they quickly sponsor and achieve high rank. These are exceptional cases though.

4. Follow too many links, lest they get lost on the net and overwhelmed by information. They should try to stick to basics whilst making progress
5. Expect to be spoonfed by Sponsor/Co Sponsor. Our Upline are there to give guidance upon asking, but they do not do the work for us.

Participation in ASK SC helps you become more successful as follows;

1. You can submit questions of issues that are really burning to you and get answers from other affiliates,who are going through very similar experiences as you.Of course it is up to you to use your descretion which advice to take up.

2.You can read through the different submitted answers and it gives you a broader, practical knowledge about SFI, from affiliates, which you can always put to practice.
Some of the answers you would never have found from all the Trtaining Materials we have. This is a REAL PEOPLE, REAL ANSWERS tab.

3. You get your daily VPs which help to move up ranks, and eventually you get badges Starting from 100o ASK SC RATINGS and progressively. Somehow I find badges as motivators, I believe they do the same to many people.

4. It gives the chance to stop and think about certain issues that are raised in the questions, which you might have never thought of. So this is your thinh tank and you brainstorm.

5. If you answer any of the questions, you are likely to do a bit more research before responding. That way you learn more. Knowledge is power.

6.When you answer questions and you happen to give one of the top three answers you also get VPs for that. Your teammates get to know about it and I am sure you feel good about it. When you feel positive about yourself then you generally do good.....
