The answer here hinges on a few facts not given. If the up-line is co-opting S-Builders, then the only advantage I find is in your being able to get a split of shares for less cost. If you can not afford the full cost of an S-builder unit, then your up-line sharing the cost over several team members is a good thing. If you can afford your own unit of S-builders, then not only do you get perhaps more sign-ups but also the vp associated with the purchase. Now, if your up-line is not using S-builders

Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

I believe there is a use for both individual and group mailings of a Welcome Letter. The most important thing is to make contact in the first 24 hours after sign-up. When I receive notice of a sign-up, I send out an e-mail and/or E-Card. If I have a large number coming in a given 24 hour period, like from an auction win or TC purchase, I find sending a group mailing less time consuming. With the correct use of words, even a group mail can come off as personal. Filters in your genealogy can insure

Should we recruit our family members into SFI? Good idea or not?

oh my, recruit is such a strong word, isn't it? I suggest that you simply let them know what you are working at and move forward according to their interest/response. My experience with family hasn't gone so well. At first yes, but then like so many sign ups, they petered out. I don't bring up SFI now with them unless they ask first. Sometimes they do. One or two can't believe that I'm still at it...lol... But I see the "big picture". I know SFI is a workable business model. I know it is

One thing (?) = The Forum, which would include all of the affiliates that have given me great answers and/or explanations over MY concerns about SFI. From the very beginning of my SFI journey, I have found The Forum the best place for answers from different perspectives. It is due to the variety of "how to" make something work that I was able to evaluate which way might work best for me. I often received considerations that I had not even thought of. If you have yet to visit The Forum,

What should I do with PSAs who do not want to recruit affiliates or otherwise engage in duplication?

First, did you inquire as to why they do not wish to recruit others? If you get an answer back from them of this, be sure to respect their answer and don't push or get argumentative. SFI offers several income streams and not everyone will fit into the same "box". Encourage them in what ever aspect of this business that they are choosing to promote, e.g. TripleClick sales, Price Benders, ECA, etc... And sometimes make your Team Mailer about the benefits of sponsoring recruits.

What is the best way to explain either to a prospect or a new affiliate the relationship between SFI and Tripleclicks or Pricebenders?

The relationship between SFI and Tripleclicks/Pricebenders is quite simple. Tripleclcicks is a huge, on-line mega-store where people can shop from home for a vast array of products and services. And in reference to Pricebenders, people who enjoy the thrill of auctions and winning items for pennies on the dollar can indulge themselves. SFI is the place to work as an affiliate to both of these. SFI affiliates market/advertise to introduce people that might not have heard of Tripleclicks/Pricebenders

Post reminders in team mail or stream. Inform your down line of the importance of the rating to you as a way of personal growth and welcome their comments. Tell them that their opinion really does count. Remind them too that the rating earns them 10 vps. That's really about all you can/should do. thanks

Are there any shortcuts to success in SFI for new affiliates?

Wow, so many "NO"s to shortcuts for new affiliates. I have to differ by saying yes, I find at least two. The first is provided by SFI itself > Plenty of vps available to make EA & EA2 in months one and two. EA/EA2 should be the first goal or milestone for any SFI affiliate. Not only to reach EA/EA2 but to RETAIN EA/EA2 ranking. EA/EA2 enables an affiliate to earn from the Executive Pool, first and foremost, AND it allows an affiliate to retain it's newly forming team which are often

Which is best for me to participate in...W3 or S-Builder Co-op?

I see no reason not to participate in both, W3 and S-Builders. Why? W3 is a one time investment (< $2) to cover the cost of shipping and you then benefit month after month with Free Tcredits, MRPs, and more. In fact, I believe that any affiliate that is serious about SFI should be a W3'er (unless there is really good reason you can not be). In fact, I offer to all new PSas and CSAs added to my team a $2 Gift Certificate with which to join W3. A practice I intend to continue as this is how fantastic

The best thing that I can do to continue to grow and develop as a SFI leader is to log in daily and read from the SFI site. Whether it be SFI News, information on the tab pages where daily vps are earned, or visiting the forum. Staying abreast of the happenings within the SFI community and being able to pass information on to my team makes me a strong leader.
