You need to invest in SFI because it is a business. This is my direct answer.

There is no business in this world where you don’t need to invest, even how small amount it is. Although investment does not only refer to money, it is the most important thing in business. The other components of investment are: time, efforts, patience, passion, perseverance, influence and even a little of “luck”.

The lifeblood of any form of business is investment from its founder, stockholders, members, advocates, patrons, etc. If you don’t invest in your business, it will die a natural death.

You can hire somebody if you don’t have time and efforts to run your business. However, you need money for this.

You can even buy “passion” and “perseverance” by hiring an individual who has the knack and interest in your kind of business but who does not have the financial capability to realize his “passion”. This requires money, too.

You can use your “influence” to run your business thru your delegated business representative but you need money to “fuel” your influence.

Probably, the only thing that does not require money is luck. But even then, in some success cases, you need money to invite “luck”. Take for example, a lottery ticket. If you don’t buy a lottery ticket, even how much lucky you are, you cannot win. The same luck applies in SFI. If you don’t become a member of SFI, you won’t have a chance to be successful in SFI. You can probably be lucky in some business ventures, but again, you need the same ingredients of success, as I have mentioned above.

I hope the above answers don’t offend some affiliates who believe that money is not everything. Yes, I agree with their belief and so am I. Yes, money is not everything in all aspects of our lives but in business, this is all that counts. The proof of this is SFI who is still in the business for over 17 years now because of support by its affiliates, including stockholders, suppliers and business associates.

A face-to-face conversation with your prospective member-affiliate in SFI demands more than knowledge of SFI and its various programs.

You must exude a feeling of confidence when you answer queries and/or clarifications. This could be attained by observing the following points:

1.) You must have a good foundation of information about SFI, its online store (TripleClicks), PriceBenders, its ECA program and other benefits accruing to its member-affiliates.
2.) Item #1 could be attained through reading articles about SFI and its programs. It is only through reading that you could achieve a good understanding of how SFI operates and how it provides benefits to its member-affiliates, ECAs and even its admin staff. Don’t attempt to have a face-to-face discussion of SFI if you are not equipped with the right information about it. Take your time before engaging yourself in a face-to-face conversation with your SFI prospects.
3.) A smooth flow of conversation between you and your prospective member-affiliates is sure to attain when you have good knowledge of what you are talking about. This is where your feeling of confidence exudes which could be easily gauged. A rattled question-and-answer portion during your conversation shows your unpreparedness with the topic under discussion.
4.) Wearing appropriate attire during your face-to-face conversation contributes to an aura of professionalism and personal development. This contributes to attaining good and lasting first impression about you by your prospective SFI member-affiliate.
5.) Of great importance also is a prepared presentation of SFI information when you have a laptop with you, a tablet or even a mobile phone equipped with mobile apps. Right in front of them, you could present your own SFI homepage by browsing through its various sections. Specifically, you could show them your SFI homepage under the “SCOREBOARD” tab where you commission calculations are shown in details. This visual presentation would likely arouse their interest in SFI and satisfy their curiosities immediately. A proof of evidence would likely seal their SFI membership.

Getting away with costs, attracting and sponsoring affiliates in SFI pose some difficulties but they could be overcome thru patience, perseverance and a little tact and diplomacy. Here are some of the free ways:
1.) Thru word of mouth with your “warm” markets, i.e., your family members, relatives, friends, neighbors, officemates, game acquaintances, etc.
2.) Thru posting of SFI banners in schools’ bulletin boards, markets, board and lodging facilities, bakeries, entrance doors in groceries, retail stores, supermarkets, recreational facilities, recruitment agencies, dining facilities, close acquaintances in your neighborhood, bus stops, etc.
3.) Thru the use of SFI gift card to close acquaintances, family members, etc. Note: Although SFI gift cards are bought, their distribution is free to gain prospects.
4.) Leaving off a piece of SFI gift card in taxis, buses, libraries and other public facilities.
5.) Giving off SFI gift cards to waiters/waitresses in restaurants or service staff in beauty parlors, massage parlors, etc.
6.) Thru warm approach to those waiting, along with yourself, at the airport lobby, hospital lobby, etc.
7.) Thru the use of social media like FACEBOOK, TWITTER, PINTEREST, LINKED IN, etc.
8.) Thru small gatherings of your acquaintances like birthday parties, anniversary parties, winning celebration parties, etc.
9.) Thru recreational activities of your own likings like your favorite sport games, favorite pastime games, etc.
10.) Thru electoral party affiliation gatherings, meetings, etc.
11.) Thru civil movement campaigns like green revolution campaigns, environmental sanitation campaigns, eradication of vice campaigns, etc.

If your sponsor is non-responsive, don’t worry. Forget about him/her.

In the first place, you did not join SFI just because there is a sponsor. Yes, you might be recruited by a sponsor and not directly joined SFI, but you don’t depend on your sponsor to ensure success in your SFI business involvement. Your affiliate membership in SFI is not co-terminus with your sponsor, that is, either one of you can leave SFI at anytime and the remaining one stays.

Instead of depending on your sponsor’s help, these are the things you have to do in case of your non-responsive sponsor:

1.) When you are working on your PC, tablet or any device for your SFI business, concentrate. Concentration is necessary to focus your attention on what you are working on.

2.) Then click on “START” button in the upper right-hand corner of your SFI homepage, just below your photo. Read, understand and re-read again to gain retention of what you have read.

3.) Then click on “SFI BASICS” button and do the same thing as you did in item #2 above.

4.) Then click on “LAUNCHPAD” button and repeat what you have done in items 2 & 3 above.

5.) Click the “ALERT” tab to take you to the FORUM discussions. Click on each FORUM discussions, one at a time, and read the ongoing discussions thereat.

6.) Join the A2S Group, if you have not done so, to enable you to communicate with your selected affiliates at the time you need their help. Just like your non-responsive sponsor, any one of your A2A friends could be non-responsive, too. Therefore, you have to understand this scenario.

7.) When you are at the FORUM, take note of the things that you don’t know, or make a copy and paste action or “bookmark” the items discussed.

8.) Learn different ways to earn VPs and learn the different ways to generate TC sales. These are the 2 main topics that you need to concentrate on to boost your power ranking in SFI and be successful.

9.) Click on “SITEMAP” under the “REFERENCE” Tab of you SFI Homepage. It will provide you a comprehensive list of topics for your learning.

Frankly speaking, here are my responses to your organizing and tracking concern of your SFI activities above:
1.) For me, the ideal period in keeping track of my activities and organizing my thoughts with my SFI business involvement is DAILY even if I have some office tasks to do for my day job (although it is seldom) or some personal matters to attend to. I spend approximately 2 hours daily. I only use my desktop PC at home in doing my SFI daily activities.
2.) Those affiliates saying that they could do their daily tasks in SFI for 15 minutes or less are very rare, although it is possible, even if they are techno geeks or even if they have the fastest booting time of their devices in use. They could hardly finish within 15 minutes or less their “daily-to-do-tasks”, much more on visiting ongoing auctions and checking their progress.
3.) Reading the contents alone of “ASK SC” tab would take 15 minutes or more of your time, much more so if you try to comprehend and understand the answers of those responding to existing queries. You cannot just “click” the next question and exit because there is a time limit to enable you to be credited for “1VP” for checking the “Yes” and “No” tabs for at least 10 questions. Reading alone and reading with comprehension are two and different things.
4.) During weekends (Friday & Saturday) in my day job in Saudi when I’m not in the office, I spend more than 2 hours daily with my SFI business pursuit. Every time I have done my laundry, cooking, cleaning the house, marketing and some extra personal chores, I always return back to my PC and surf on my SFI website. And this is the time that I’m updated on hourly basis on what is being discussed in the “FORUM”, the latest SFI announcements, if there are and which auctions are good to join at, etc.
5.) Lastly, if you are involved in pursuing SFI business, there is no limit on which day, week and month that is good for you to organize and keep track of your SFI activities. Anytime that you are free from doing your normal routine activities first or free from any personal commitments, you can always browse, surf and update your SFI required tasks, not only for your own advancement but also for your downlines (your PSAs, your CSAs and PRMs) success and also your coordination efforts, if there are, with your downlines & uplines. Your downlines and uplines are part of your SFI business involvement, hence, one should have time, whatever is available, in monitoring their progress and SFI business activities.

As in other aspects of life, developing trust with your SFI affiliates (downlines) and getting them believe in your leadership takes time and could be accomplished in the following ways:
1.) Communicate with them in a professional and courteous manner. You can elicit their interest to cooperate with you if you deal with them nicely and politely. Try to picture out yourself in their shoes.
2.) Don’t promise to them what you cannot fulfill just because you just want to get their attention and interest. If you hold a contest with your affiliates, be sure that you have the prizes that you have promised them to give once they comply with your contest requirements.
3.) Be consistent in communicating with them in terms of duration intervals, say once or twice a week, 2 times a month, monthly or if you think the information is urgent for you to let them know immediately. This consistent communication connotes your sincerity in SFI business, much more of your interest in your affiliates welfare and success.
4.) Lead them by example. Refer them to your leadership page where they could see the various SFI badges that you have been awarded by SFI through your efforts and persistence. Looking at your SFI badges obtained, your enthusiasm in SFI business will be reflected on them.
5.) Be emphatic in dealing with them. Realize that although all of us joined SFI with the ultimate objective of monetizing our efforts, we don’t have the same opportunities or resources to expand our SFI business. Having said this, a team leader needs to provide support and assistance in whatever way he can towards his downlines success. At the end of the day, his downlines success will be his own success, too, as a team leader.
6.) Be patient. Realize that not all of your downlines (affiliates) have the same background of educational and work experience. Therefore, the support you need to provide them varies. And it needs patience.

Yes, I agree with your observation that many affiliates (both new and old ones) are only interested in completing the “Daily-to-do-tasks” in their SFI homepage, not realizing that there are still other activities that they could pursue to gain success in SFI. Among these other activities are:
1.) You could advise your downlines (PSAs/CSAs) to participate in Pricebender auctions to have a chance to win high-valued items at low costs if they are lucky enough to win the auction. However, winning an auction needs some kind of online training and keen observations of how the auctions are carried out. Hence, they must not join any auction without familiarizing themselves first of the PB auction rules and regulations and other pertinent information prior to joining their first try on the “No Win” auction.
2.) Advise them to participate in SFI’s FORUM discussion, either by replying to existing comments thread raised by some concerned SFI affiliates or by raising your own comment thread and indicating your desired topic for which you want some clarifications or seeking some advice on some specific SFI-related matters. Participating in FORUM discussions would help you gain more SFI and TripleClicks related information which would help you gain more insights about SFI’s business operations.
3.) Advise them to read questions and answers in ASK SFI Community. They could always raise a question and obtain responses from SFI affiliate-respondents within a 10-day period. The affiliates who raised the question could refer to all the responses received and determine which ones had really answered his query to his satisfaction. Alternatively, he could review all the responses to all the queries raised and build up his SFI knowledge gradually and consistently.
4.) Advise them to participate in EAGER ZEBRA games, particularly those with free TC entries to help them gain more VPs, TCs and MRPs. The TCs and MRPs won could be used to purchase Tcredits and other items in TripleClicks store and its various ECA stores.
5.) Once they gained knowledge of SFI business operations, they could devote their time in learning how to promote TripleClicks/ECAs products thru advertising, either online or offline.
6.) Advise them the importance of reading since one of SFI’s Rules of Success is “Good leaders are great readers”.

My advice to you is just to continue communicating with your inactive PSAs/CSAs, telling them of various opportunities that they could have missed if they remain inactive in SFI.

Nurture them with good information about SFI and TripleClicks, its products and the various upgraded policies that make doing the daily-to-do tasks in SFI more of a breeze than a tedious job.

After all, whether you like it or not, your PSAs and CSAs’s inactivity for a period of one year from the date of their enrollment in SFI, would automatically put them off the list by SFI. This action by SFI would be more appropriate and business-like rather than removing them from the roster of affiliates yourself. And this would eliminate personal grudges on you by your inactive PSAs/CSAs. Who knows, they might return to your team someday for whatever reason they have and re-kindle your SFI business relationship with them.

If I were you, I won’t participate in SFIPPA Program if you are just building up your SFI team.

The benefit that you will get, if ever you will be able to recruit your PSAs thru this program, is a one-time deal (maximum of $10). They won’t put them in your downlines to help you in your SFI success.

Whereas, if you recruit your PSAs and join your team as your downlines, chances are you will get residual benefits in case they become active, become team leaders or become ECAs.

Since recruiting active PSAs are pure luck, those PSAs that turn active in your SFIPPA program, would be a loss to your becoming successful in SFI.

Once you have build up your SFI team, that is, you have already active PSAs, PRMs and CSAs, it is an opportune time for you to try joining the SFIPPA program.

Additionally, if you become an expert PSA enroller, it is a good opportunity to join the SFIPPA program to augment your SFI income in a short span of time since you have effective advertising strategies. But unless these 2 scenarios happen to you, it is not advisable for you to join the SFIPPA program.

4.) You can turn to your A2A friends for help in case your sponsor or co-sponsor doesn’t respond to your SFI-related queries and clarifications.

6.) 7.) A2A friendship could be a good source of backlink on each other’s personal websites to gain SFI prospects.
8.) A2A friendship could open a possibility of creating a virtual tourist guide assistance by informing each other country’s good sightseeing spots or good business opportunities, etc.
