If you don't read the latest SFI news, you get left behind. It is extremely important that you read and understand whats on the latest SFI news.

If you don't read the SFI news, you will not be up to date with what is happening in SFI. There are developments being made and introduced all the time. Just take at the ECAs, EZ,PB and the Forum tabs above for example. These were recently introduced and if you as a Team Leader don't know about them, how can you advise, train and coach your affiliates properly. There is always the danger of misleading them if you don't have the correct and up to date information.

The short answer to your question is - use the lot. They are all the "best to use."

The reason why I say this is because what might be the best for me to use is not necessarily the best for you or the others.

We all operate in different environments, countries, cultures, language etc.. We also have different likes and dislikes, age, people we associate with, budget levels etc..

I think the best thing for you to do is to:
- identify your targets: age, locality, likes, what attracts them etc..
- identify the marketing aid/tool that you think is suitable to draw the attention of you targets
- establish your marketing budget (if any)
- launch & monitor your campaign.

Don't forget to allocate KeyCodes so that you can track how well your advertising is going. You just have to 'test the waters' and establish what works for you. Change the ads/marketing aids etc as necessary to get the results that you want.

Doing the Daily 1VP action is not a waste of time and the affiliate needs to understand this. He needs to understand the value of VPs for at least 2 main reasons -

- For rank qualification:

The VPs you get by completing your Daily actions are Action VPs. They are harder to earn than the Sales VP. You need to get your affiliate to understand this if he/she wants to advance beyond EA.

For all ranks in SFI, except DTL, there is a maximum amount of Sales VP that can be contributed to the qualification but there is a minimum for the Action VPs. For example, regardless of how many Sales VPs he has, he cannot qualify for say BTL unless he has earned at least 1000 Action VPs. One can easily earn Sales VP through purchases at TripleClicks, but not Action VPs.

Advancing up the ranks beyond EA opens up a whole lot of opportunities and benefits. Its the only way to grow a successful SFI business.

- For Executive Pool shares:

1 VP equals 1 share in the Executive Pool. The more VPs he has the bigger his share will be of the Executive Pool. He can greatly increase this by progressing up the ranks, developing his teams and qualifying for Matching VPs. This means more money. This is why most of us, if not all joined SFI – to make money.

So tell your affiliate to take advantage of every opportunity to earn VPs. The Daily actions is one of those opportunities and must not be missed.

Are you talking about the 125 TCredit pack - 1500 VPs?
If that is the cases, well done you have got your EA level covered for the month. That means you can concentrate on obtaining or retaining you TL level, or you can focus on other aspects of the business.

You can use your TC:
- to bid at auctions. Bid for PSAs, CSAs, TC packs,and other goodies
- take part in games and contests such as PTP, Time Machine etc..
- download songs etc
For all these activities, you will earn VPs - 1 per TC spent.

Whatever you do I strongly recommend that you use the TCs to grow your business. If however you are running a successful SFI business already, why not reward yourself and spend the TCs at the store on something for yourself.

Your focus should be to motivate your team to grow their businesses. Let them see the big SFI picture of what can be achieved and how to go about achieving their dreams.

Ones they have achieved EA, have completed all the Launchpad lessons, have collected most of the free VPs available to them, and if you have been doing a great job sponsoring them, they will naturally come to the conclusion that they also need to invest money in the business in order to progress further and at a faster rate. You don’t even need to say anything directly about investing money.

You also need to explain to them that the perks and benefits of rank within SFI kicks in at EA2 level. It is therefore to their great advantage to maintain EA2. Among other benefits, they will receive 2 CSAs per month and also 10 TC, can share in the Executive Pool, can receive co sponsor commission and ECA royalties and many more.

Make sure they understand that all these will be lost if they drop down to the Affiliate level. They will also lose all CSAs they have in their team regardless of how they were acquired, even those which they had won at auctions.

Emphasise to them that it is imperative for them to maintain their EA status. They will see for themselves that for peace of mind and to retain their EA status they will need to invest money in the business.

Also explain to them that the easiest way to maintain EA is to have a Standing Order of 1500 VP, which is the minimum requirement for retaining EA. By having such a Standing Order and qualifying automatically for EA, they can then concentrate their efforts on other aspects of growing their businesses.

These are what an awesome sponsor would do. You will not sound greedy. You are telling them the truths about the business and your serious affiliates will appreciate that.

The basic message should always be the same – Welcome to SFI – I am your sponsor – here is what I do for you – here is how you start – here is how you can contact me anytime. Others bits can be added/removed from time to time but the basic should remain the same.

With these in mind, I regularly reword my welcome message so that it is up to date and I am happy with it. I try to keep it short, warm and bubbly. I want it to be informative and for them to read it and not be overwhelmed with a large email. I must confess however that I always struggle to leave things out.

Here’s my current welcome message. I hope it helps.

The term "College" students, I believe, is internationally understood to be people in their mid teens to their mid 20s and currently studying at high schools and universities. For our purpose it includes all people of this age group.

Most of them have would have mobile access to the internet, not working full time, needing funds, love music, highly sociable and ambitious: ideal recruits for SFI.

The main attractive features of SFI business for the students would be that fact that it is totally free to start up, it can be operated on a part time basis online and from anywhere and that they can make money out of it. Capitalize on these.

Online, I would advertise on campus/college related sites wherever possible. These sites could be college sites, library sites, research sites, general job search sites, student job search sites and sites that they are likely to visit regularly. There are numerous music sites out there, advertise on these whenever possible. Use the social media sites – Facebook, Twitter, Instergram, Pininterest,etc.. Young people love these.

If possible would: visit colleges and with approval post flyers on notice boards; do the same at other places frequented by students such as cafes, libraries, gyms, stadiums; attend public gatherings of young people such as sports, concerts etc and hand out flyers. You can also set up a stand at field days, galas, etc and promote SFI that way.

I personally would push the online methods. This enables me to advertise internationally and not limited only to the colleges in the area where I live. Young people go online at least once a day and I would therefore have the chance to bring my message to them at least once a day.

In order to maintain or to boost momentum in your group, you as the leader need to have a high profile within your group. You need to be their leader, to be their champion, their coach, someone who walks along with them helping them grow their businesses.

How?

Stay in regular contact with them, especially your workers, your movers. They will champion the cause themselves and will grow momentum within their own teams as well as examples to others.

Provide them with regular and relevant training; point them to where they can find out information for themselves; teaching them to be self sufficient, standing on their own two feet; giving them confidence and support; showing them how to coach their own team members etc..

Show them what you are preaching by your own examples. Everytime they click on your profile they will see by your badges what you have achieved in SFI. Those badges are not there just for show. They are there to help motivate your team members. If you are telling them to participate in the Forum but you are not, then your words a hollow and you loose credibility.

It would also help to boost and maintain momentum if you celebrate with them their achievements. If they achieve, say BTL status, broadcast this to all the team members congratulating the BTL, let your A2A friends and forum members know. Make a fuss of their successes. When its their anniversary in SFI or their birthdays, celebrate these. How about a small SFI related gift? (TCs, reassignment, etc..)

You boost their morale and this will accelerate momentum in your group.

I believe you can do this by displaying a caring attitude.

We all want to be loved, to be well thought of, to be appreciated and to be respected. If your affiliates think of you as a caring and loving sponsor that genuinely wants all her affiliates to succeed you will have no problems at all. You will most likely have a very committed and active team of affiliates.

Well how do you do this?

Right from the word go – welcome them. Let them know that you are here for them whenever they need help. Tell them a little about yourself and let them know that you are in this together with them. This is a partnership and that you are here to help and support them in growing their businesses.

Regularly send them tips and encouraging messages. Acknowledge their successes and any milestones they have achieved. If you see any actions they need to do in order to progress, let them know, suggesting to them what to do. The language you use must be respectful and encouraging – suggesting rather than directing. Never give them the impression that you are telling them how to run their business. Remember, their business is their business. Your role is to provide them the training, encouragement and support. Always remember this when communicating with your affiliates.

Those badges on your profile also play an important part in encouraging your affiliates. Point them out to your affiliates. If you are encouraging them to bid at the auctions, a Winner at the auction badge in your profile tells them that you participate in the auctions, if you are encouraging them to be Fast Tracker, a Fast Tracker badge on your profile will certainly help. In other words make sure you are also doing what you are suggesting to them they should do.

Run some team competitions with meaningful prizes – those that would grow their businesses eg advertising campaigns etc.. Let them feel that they are part of a team and encourage them to come to you if they need help with any aspect of the business. When they come to you for help, respond as soon as possible – within 24 hrs if possible.

All these simply mean that you have to be an awesome sponsor – be the very best sponsor you can. Focus on the needs of your affiliates - focus on their developments - focus on growing their businesses - your success will naturally follow if they are successful.
