The affiliates that you recruit will have to be coached and sponsored. You have to do these in order for them to be successful and consequently for your own business to be successful. I therefore believe that you must advertise for affiliates from countries that you can successfully sponsor. You want them to be active in recruiting and successfully promoting SFI. You also want to be able to communicate with them effectively.
You must therefore when planning your advertising campaigns take into account among other factors, language and culture of your target audience, their economic standards and access to the internet.
Recently released figures from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) show that 6 out of 10 adults in the UK use the internet to buy products such as food, clothing, music or holidays. This is twice the average of the OECD’s 34 member states, which include the USA, Germany, Canada, Australia, France, New Zealand etc.. On average, just three out of ten people in OECD nations buy goods or services online.
The British spent around $116 USD billion on the internet last year, according to IMRG, a body which represents the UK’s online retailers. This is equivalent to $3,698 USD for every adult in the country. This is massive. The next country to come anywhere near the UK is Denmark with an average spending of around $1,696 USD per person per year.
In the country that has the highest broadband penetration in the world, USA, only about 1/3 of adults shop on line. This is however trending upwards. Mexico has the lowest proportion of online shoppers in the developed world, with less than 5 per cent of people buying goods or services online.
To me what this means is that if you want to recruit people into SFI who will purchase online and promote TripleClicks, the number one country where you should advertise is the UK. If however your primary language is not English, then I suggest you look at advertising at countries that speak your language.
My primary language is English and I am not necessarily after a large quantity of recruits. My preference is for quality PSAs that would be active, that I can communicate with, that will promote SFI/TripleClicks and that have the ability to purchase advertising campaigns and also items from TripleClicks.
I therefore advertise primarily in the following countries in order of preference -
USA, UK, Canada, Australia. To me these are the best countries to advertise SFI in at the present time. I also advertise to a lesser extend at other countries such as Denmark, France, Philippines etc..
