Both of them are different programs, accomplishing almost the same goals in one part and additional goals in the other part but first, in order to understand my conclusive opinion, let me briefly outline what they are, including their benefits.

By contrast, the S-builder Co-op does not only supply you SFI signups (PSAs), but also TC members (PRMs). Again, any SFI signup you receive from the S-Builder Co-op (PSA) is automatically a TC member, entitled to become a W3 member and therefore your W3 referral. This means you are going to receive the benefits of a W3 referral as mentioned above plus the benefits of team building. This means achieving multiple goals with one effort, which makes it better than W3, but both are still significant to the success of your business, so my advice is not to ignore any.

What I do on a daily basis may not be the same, however there are some basic actions needed to be done daily, if time permits, to promote and make your SFI business a success:

1. Login, complete daily actions and learn something new both in SFI and TripleClicks (TC), the same way a shop owner opens daily and properly arrange or set up the shop in readiness for the day's business.

2. See to what your downline is up to and provide guidance where necessary, just as a shop owner may take inventory, reviews procedures; including orders, dispatches, returns, including customers feedback where necessary. As an SFI affiliates, this is where duplication takes hold.

3. After you have set up your store (login) and responded to customers needs (downline), make it a point of duty to advertise SFI and TC every day, using any method you are comfortable with; online or face to face advertising. You may set a daily goal of signing up at least 1 SFI affiliate and 1 TC member daily. There are also numerous products at TC (your store) where you can choose from to advertise and generate sales, so you may also choose at least 1 product daily.

4. To be honest with you, internet income opportunities are becoming saturated, so there may be need to introduce a catch to attract people and generate business, therefore create a daily 'catch' to attract signups and TC referrals like gift cards, gift certificates, reward for hard work, bonuses that go with ads etc. I am not referring to incentivised signups here, but a kind of bonus offer of an e-book on how to be successful as an SFI affiliates for example or gift card to attract potential TC members, if you understand what I mean.

5. Other ways to promote your SFI business is to daily explore the world of games and auctions in order to determine the best ways to deploy Eagle Zebra and Pricebenders as recruiting and duplication tools.

It is good business strategy and practice to engage in daily actions that promote your SFI business in order to be a hands-on manager of your downline, get attention to your business and above all, adapt and apply latest methods to enhance the chances of success in your SFI business.

There are various tools to use, however, the important tools you need to build a successful business will depend on your preferences, strategic objectives, goals and personal resources; both time and money. There are several dynamics in building a business, so the important tools you need today may be different from the ones you may need the next day.

Also the important tools you need when building your team will be different from the important tools you need when engaging in TC sales promotion efforts, and also different for referrals, SFIPPA etc.

However, I am mindful of the fact that you asked for a tool (1), so the most important tool in my opinion, is TRAINING MATERIAL for the following reasons:

1. It provides knowledge and I hope you understand that knowledge is power which influences your ability to building a successful business.

2. Successful people are good readers, so when you develop the habit of learning something new every day and applying same to your business, then you will be more strengthened to build your business in order to meet current challenges and grasp future opportunities; .this is why Henry Hartman said 'Success always comes when preparation meets opportunity.'

3. All other tools you will think about will be as effective as your understanding of them, so knowledge acquisition improves your understanding, appreciation and application of these tools.

The most important SFI tool I have been describing is the TRAINING tab on your SFI affiliate centre, click on it and do justice to the information contained in it. I opt for this because it teaches you how to build a successful business here and it touches on almost all income generating aspects. It may be counterproductive, demotivating or even demoralizing to advise any of your PSAs to slow down, when indeed his progress is like a moving train. Remember in SFI we do not slow people down regarding the pace they wish to thread the path that will lead them to success.

So instead of slowing down your PSA from a quick BTL qualification, why not guide him or her on how to sustain the speed towards and beyond a BTL qualification like building an active team, promoting and selling TC products, referring TC members and ECAs in order to continuously accumulate the necessary VP to maintain a BTL status and even advance further.

The mistake most team leaders make is to assume that success is a slow process and generalize the application of this assumption to the entire downline, forgetting that everybody is not the same and that the journey to success is different for different affiliates that make up our Gen 1. Some are risk takers, others risk adverse and yet the rest are risk neutral, so why for example you will want to discount the potential success of a risk taker by advising a slow down approach.

However, the downside is that there is the possibility of some getting discouraged when they think they have reached team leader rank, but disappointed in the financial returns thereafter. They may therefore conclude that the return is not worth the efforts and are faced with a delicate decision to slow down. By now they are in better position to make the decision rather than you making it for them.

Like I mentioned earlier, ensure you take the professional route of guiding, encouraging and assisting them to pursue activities that will enable them maintain their BTL status or to achieve higher ranks, rather than advising them to slow down.

When your blog is set, below are steps to follow to install a banner on a blog created at blogger.com but may be adapted for blogs created in other platforms like WordPress etc:

1. On your blog home page click on the drop down menu and select layout

2. A new window opens, scroll down and click on Choose a Gadget

3. On the smaller window displayed, click on HTML/Java Script to open a new window

4. This new window is where you Configure HTML/Java Script, including title and content sections, so give a title to your banner and the content area is where you will paste the banner code, so leave it open for later.

5. Go to the SFI Marketing Aid link below and choose a banner of your choice, out of the 105 available. You may want to reduce the search by choosing a particular Program.

The initial actions taken by affiliates who join SFI are important to their understanding and appreciation of the potentials of this business, which will invariably facilitate success and reduce inaction and opt outs. Some of these actions are identified below:

1. They need to complete all actions on their Getting Started and Intermediate actions on their VP Ledgers especially completing their affiliate profiles, whitelisting, compensation plan, and SFI benefits chart among others. These will open up without hindrance lines of communication between them and their upline on one hand, and with SFI/TC on the other hand. Since joining SFI is to earn income, their understanding of the compensation plan and benefits chart will boost their morale and appreciation of the possibility to earn and receive other benefits.

Becoming a great sale person requires learning, understanding and experience, with the ability not to be afraid to fail. The world of marketing is very dynamic so there is no sacrosanct prescription for becoming great in the art of sales. However, there are some general or broad principles you need to uphold or yardstick to adhere to as enumerated below.

1. You must be very versatile and have an in dept knowledge of what you are selling. You may be unable to promote TC products or develop an active team if you not knowledgeable in SFI and TC businesses.

2. You have to dress, speak and act in a professional manner that expresses the business you are selling. You do not only have to sell it, you also have to look it in order to be convincing and taken seriously. Also remember that selling is telling, so you need to tell it well to make an impact.

3. You need to build trust by being sincere in your sales efforts, so it is highly unnecessary for example to say SFI is a get-rich-quick business in order to attract signups which is not true. You should not lie or deceive in order to make a sale because at the very least you are fraudulent.

4. A sale does not end by a mere exchange of product and payment, but your willingness and ability to follow up (after sales service) with the buyer's needs, requests, queries etc make you a great person. For example, are you going to signup affiliates without assisting them, or will an ECA make sales without responding to after sales queries? This is an important quality of a great sales person because your greatness does not necessarily end with one sale but the ability to attract repeat customers.

5. You need to be determined and assertive in your sales efforts because there are possibilities of having very bad days, so do not be demoralised by this, but use it to better your strategy and ability to accept the downside of salesmanship and to consequently learn from it.

6. You should be able to put yourself in the shoes of the prospect and anticipate the questions and objections that may arise and develop a proactive strategy to deal with these because it may not augur well to be taken by surprise. For example, in prospecting for SFI affiliates, you anticipate questions on commissions, benefits and investments, so be prepared in advance on how to respond. Similarly, prospecting for customers to buy TC product may raise issues of shipping, returns and refunds, so be prepared likewise.

7. Be yourself and resist from comparing yourself to other affiliates who you may think are doing better than you are, else you may be demoralised and inadvertently not recognising the potential you have to be a great sales person. For example you see some affiliates wondering how others are signing up hundreds of affiliates on a daily basis and therefore suggesting themselves are failure in this aspect.

8. One way of becoming a great sales person is to always take responsibility especially where failure is the outcome of sales efforts. Blaming your sponsor or SFI for your lack of success for example is a recipe for continuous failure and lack of hope to make a turn around.

Affiliates will tend to be serious if they realise the potentials here at SFI and the most obvious potential is the possibility of earning a reasonable and continuous income stream. The challenge is therefore your ability to expose these potentials to your affiliates and encourage them to take advantage of them.

First, you have to develop a clear path to success for your affiliates to understand and follow. Describe what they need to do on a daily, weekly, monthly and on continuous basis in order to take advantage of the potentials of success as laid down in the SFI business model. This will be helpful because one of the reasons affiliates are not serious is the lack of understanding of the system and how to apply their understanding to building a successful business.

Secondly, you need to encourage them not to let up on any aspect of this business; they need to login daily or regularly, do some reading of important materials, place ads regarding TC products, referrals, and SFI signups. If they become used to how these are done, they may find it interesting and take up the challenge to work harder in order to improve their chances of success.

Thirdly, encourage them to take the 3 basics steps seriously; become EA, recruit 5 active affiliates and teach them to do the same. Guide and assist them to realise these steps and let them be aware that the beginning of building a successful business starts with these 3 basic steps.

Fourthly, another major aspect of getting your affiliates serious is to inform them of the benefits of being serious affiliates like what is in for them if they maintain EA status, signup active PSAs, PRMs, ECAs, SFIPPA. Their seriousness in this regard is to consistently pursue these aspects because the probability of success lies on persistence and determination.

Fifthly, you must be a serious affiliate yourself to have the trust to encourage your PSAs to be serious themselves, so there is need for you to use yourself as a testimony of a serious affiliate that resulted in your being successful.

On the sixth point, you may need to reward success or seriousness within your downline in order to motivate them to be more serious in forging ahead. Reward is a very important aspect of motivation, which in turn encourages hard work and seriousness.

Finally, no matter how you try, you must come to terms with the fact that not all your affiliates will be serious, so at the end you may need to make do with only those that show potentials of seriousness, instead of wasting your precious time flogging "dead horses".

SFI business model is definitely not for everybody, so many come with different expectations and disappear when those expectations are not met. An example is someone looking for a get-rich-quick business may be disappointed if he does not earn as fast as he hopes.

Some of them joined because of what they read in various advertisement contents and were hopeful that what the ads say is what it is, but unfortunately they were met with different circumstance. Take for instance someone who heard that you do not need to invest, only to come and see the word standing order hovering relentlessly over his head. In some cases before this affiliate understands that it is not mandatory its too late or may be unable to understand how to navigate his way forward without investing in a standing order.

Again, some do not just understand the system and do not have the opportunity to be assisted and guided by a dedicated and active sponsor, so when they wonder around without a clear path, they rest their head.

There seems to be over emphasis on making 1500 VP to become EA, so some affiliates will be expecting a reasonable pay check immediately they reach this status and be disillusioned with the amount they see in their commission report. At this stage they will ultimately conclude its not worth the effort and time, without having the opportunity to know that EA status is just the first basic first to building your SFI business.

Some people join SFI just out of curiosity or for exploratory purposes without real prior desire to work an online business. They are jobless and looking for a job, but when they join the kind of job they are used to or want is quite different from what is obtained here; for example a regular monthly paid check from an employer to an employee compared to a commission business where you are not regarded as an employee.

There are yet others who may have the potential but were unable to simplify the business model in order to create a clear path and destination, thereby making it very complex and complicated for their understanding and appreciation, so out of frustration they conclude that it will be difficult to understand whats up and to ultimately succeed here.

There is also a transfer of impression where those who have had bad experiences with similar online businesses join SFI, but when they wrongly perceive any similarity to what they had experienced they draw similar conclusions and are only inactive because they do not even know how to opt out.

Payment problems also discourages many who are impatient to discover that there are other methods to pay for purchases at TC. This set of affiliates love to buy products but are either afraid to use their credits card because of bad experiences or do not have any, then they are of the opinion that nothing else will matter without a credit card and they just stop working.

Having said this, there are also others who join for the purpose of perpetrating fraudulent practices and when they fail or see how difficult and unattractive it is here they become useless even to themselves. Some may just be here for cross solicitation, so when you think they are inactive, they are very active cross soliciting and perpetrating other illicit activities.

Finally, there are really interested people who joined with enthusiasm to do their best but unfortunately, some circumstances within or beyond their control have made them to temporarily become inactive and in most cases once that reason is out of the way they become active, so watch out for these affiliates.

The fear of success may be the beginning of failure if this fear is allowed to take a greater part of our thinking, so a systematic approach need to be used to gradually dissipate this fear and to consequently replace it with hope and courage.
