How can we shift from quantity to QUALITY with our sign-ups?

By working on the prospect way before they sign up.
You see, majority of people sign up, then forget about it. Then one day they see an email in their inbox, then is curious enough to login. Then they happen to be busy and takes another 4 to 5 months before they login again.
So in order not to be a slave to the numbers game, talk to your prospect thoroughly before they sign up. I mean, ask them about their goals, the time they have to spend on another business. If they're willing to transfer their spending from the local hypermarket to TripleClicks. If they have the time to do advertising. If they have the time and willing to be a helpful sponsor.
Once are these are made clear to the prospect, then once they sign up, they will become active from Day 1. But it is actually still a numbers game because all you've done is take the statistics offline.

What are the personal characteristics and skills you need to become successful with SFI?

Never give up!
Personally I think that's the best characteristic you should have as an SFI affiliate. Because if you do not give up, imagine all the things that could happen to you.
Say that you gave up today, you will never know if tomorrow you would finally win 10 CSAs in the Daily Grand. And that's definitely your team all ready.
What if you gave up today and tomorrow one of your downline decides to make SFI work and throws himself into SFI. You would be missing on all the income from that PSA or CSA.
What if you opt out today and tomorrow someone submits an answer to Ask SC which is totally applicable to you and would've help propel you forward faster than you yourself could imagine.
Just don't quit and the possibilities are endless!

If you could completely start over with SFI today, knowing what you know now, what would you do differently?

I would not miss a single day collecting my points and I would set up my SO from day 1. I would also advertise much more agressively than I have been doing. I would also set up a blog for training my team.
My upline would tell you that I started slow but have gained momentum during the past year.
If I had done all this much earlier, my team would have been bigger. It would also have been more active (hopefully!) because they now have a training blog to refer to instead of learning on their own. I would invest more time in my downline because now I see emails from them requesting more info, asking for help once they know they have a place to turn to.
I started slow, but I'm not going to stop!

Aside from TCredits, S-Builder and PSAs to Go, what other TripleClicks products are great for international members and why?

You mention TripleClicks products, not TC Direct products. So this means any products from ECAs can be considered as they are all TripleClicks products.
So in my opinion, ECAs that sell PSAs are good. But you need to shop around. Try out a few ECAs then stick with the one you trust.
Second is the advertising packages. Again you need to shop around. Some ECAs are good, some are not bad and some are lousy.
But I think the best product by far is the SFI T-shirt and cap. Free advertising just like your TripleClicks decal on your car. People come to you instead of you having to strike up a conversation. Perfect for shy people like me.

How many affiliates do I need to sponsor each month to build a successful business?

It is not the number that is important. It is the quality. Therefore, I would say you should sponsor as many as you can each month. Don't put a limit. Would you stop your sponsoring activities when you reach your target for the month? I don't think you should. Maybe you targeted 15 a month. And you decided to rest when you reached it. Perhaps the 16th person would've been the active one. You will never know as you have "stopped" so to speak.
So don't stop. Sponsor as many as you can.
And the most important thing is to support those that you sponsor.

How do you get new PSAs to commit to SFI?

In my opinion you can already sort of pre-select your PSAs. First off, do face to face advertising. You can judge already whether they will be active or not.
But if you don't do face to face advertising, or is actually using a combination of advertising (which is better by the way. Don't just stick to one method), one way to identify is those PSAs that take the time to:
1) Write you an SFI Commitment Message
2) Fill up their Affiliate Profile.
3) Contact you through whatever means. I had one IM me. It was a very rewarding feeling.
Those that do has already passed the first hurdle of just being 'lookers' to being 'readers'. It is easier to talk to 'readers' because they read and understand what you are saying.
So guide them as you would like your own sponsor to guide you. Explain the steps and don't push! It is important that they understand first. To me it is important to broach the fact that a team is important rather than the individual tasks that everyone do everyday for the free VPs (although that is important too).

In my advertising campaigns, is it better to provide more or less information in my ads and why?

In my opinion, it is important to give accurate information. In the early days, when I was searching for a way to make money from the internet, I see a lot of advertising that made me click on their ads.
But the ones that made me look twice, is if the information they promised can be clearly seen up front. Meaning on the front page (landing page) of wherever your ads take your prospects to.
When I was still green, the 'earn money just from clicking' was very enticing. But through the years I have learned that although the statement is true, you don't really earn that much money. It is your team that is important.
So don't just stick to one way of writing your ads. Some people will click and then just move on. Some people will stick around to read then still move on. Some people like me, will read, found SFI interesting and stayed. It is best if you have your own website, blog, etc that the ads point to because you can put testimonials on them. Real personal testimonials.
Although SFI's various landing pages are professional, not all people respond to these type of advertisement. They prefer testimonials, blogs, etc to learn whether something is true or not. So again I repeat, don't stick to just one way. Vary your methods.

Which is better to pursue...CSAs or PSAs?

Personally I would say PSAs are better. But don't just pursue your PSAs and ignore your CSAs as both contribute income to you. A good team is a combination of both.
Obviously you will get more commissions from your PSAs but combine both together isn't that much better than just either one alone?
What was the turning point for you in achieving success with SFI?

The turning point for me was when I started receiving questions from my downline. For the past year and a half since I joined I have been dilligently doing the actions and collecting the VPs. I have received numerous commissions from SFI but it was never a big amount. Just a continuous stream. But somehow something was missing.
Then one day I received an email from my downline asking a question. I answered that and urged him forward. I received another question soon after. I answered that too and again urged him forward. Soon it hit me that, hey...this was what SFI was talking about. Helping each other. It works if you follow the steps, but it works even better if you work in a team.
So to me, the turning point was when my downline asked me for help and advice.
