What should I do when I receive inactive CSAs?

I hope this answer that I am about to give does NOT sound sarcastic, but I believe you do the same thing that you normally do when you receive inactive PSA's - and that is work, work, work!!!
There is a tendency to feel cheated or believe that you are not accomplishing anything, but I assure you, it will eventually happen. Remain focused, remain active, remain vibrant!
How do I get the maximum benefits of being an SFI affiliate?

So you want to know how to get the maximum benefits of being an affiliate?
I believe before we can answer this question, we should understand what some of the benefits are of being an SFI affiliate.
1. Working at home
2. Little to no face-to-face marketing (unless you want to)
3. No door-to-door (unless you want to)
4. Worldwide internet marketing
5. Simple payment schedule
6. Simple products
7. Marketing assistance
8. Partners (a2a)
9. Great leadership (team leaders, upline)
and much much more.
So what is the best way to maximize some of those benefits...? Get started! (smile)

What should new affiliates NOT do in their first month?

I always advise my new affiliates to NOT use up all of their action VP in the first month. One of the things that people see is that they have the ability to become Platinum Associates within the first month, so they go for it.
I try to let them know that it is totally not wise for them to do that. Since this is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme, it is more advisable for them to take their time and take the slow and steady course.
I DO tell them to simply get to their EA status for the first couple of months. If they don't want to spend much month, I would advise them to simply purchase 5 T-credits (individually) which will give them 500 VP. They will get 200 more VP for getting started within 24 hrs. Then they are left with only 800 pts left in the month - that's my advice.
Then I go on to tell them where the rest of their points can come from.

How do you deal with PSAs who you offer unconditional support but still rate you poorly?

I wish that there was an easy way, but the truth is that there is no way to control another person. The best way that I can suggest for you to operate when they still give you negative is to ask them why they are doing it. Many times, when you confront people, they are willing to change their opinion.
In short, just email them and ask them what it is that they are expecting of you in order to provide the necessary positive feedback.
What do you tell prospects who say they aren't interested in SFI because they don't know very many people?

I always let folk know that the system is designed for people just like them. You don't necessarily have to know many people, though that would help, but is NOT necessary. I let them know that their success depends more on their working the system than getting thousands of friends - of course, again, that would help. (smiles)
How do you set proper goals for yourself in SFI?

The best thing to do, in my estimation, is start off by setting very realistic and achievable goals, based on your current situation. Example: if you are currently ranked 10,000 in VP for the month - it is ridiculous to set a goal for 100 this month; instead, what would be better is to set a goal of 9500 or 9000 - this way you are already close to achieving.
I believe that if you do this with many of your goals, you will get a chance, monthly, to see where you generally rank in different things. Once you understand your average ranking - stretch yourself to something that "seems" close enough, but something that you haven't already achieved.
Goals are about stretching yourself to your full potential. If you always reach it, it's not really a goal, but a game.

What is the most valuable thing you learned in your first year in SFI?

I can actually answer this honestly because I am still within my first year. I am learning that you can actually just continue to do basic things and grow. I continue to maintain my EA status and keep getting my daily VP's. I also do all the things necessary to stay within my Bronze Team Leader status, in order that I might receive the extra CSA's and the bonuses.
How do you handle being rejected over and over again when presenting the SFI opportunity to others?

One of the things that I have realized is that anytime you are presenting someone information that is not in their common way of thinking, they will most likely reject you. I've learned to deal with that. Nowadays, I introduce the SFI system to everyone and actually go searching for "no's."
The reason I am in hot pursuit of the "no" answers is that I know that marketing is a numbers game. So, in order for me to be the winner that I am, I must learn to play the numbers right. If the average response time is 1 yes for every 20 responses, that means that I should expect 1 yes and 19 no's.
All I do is go searching for the no's, because if I get enough of them, then the odds that I am going to get a yes is much better. It's all about the numbers.

This question reminds me of something that I read most recently...
A young man was very hungry and had been trying to get his mother to cook dinner for a while. She was so engaged in the television program that he believed that she wasn't paying him any attention or his needs.
The young man went to the refrigerator/freezer and got out some "ready-made" pizza. He looked on the back of the box and the instructions suggested that he is to pre-heat the over to 450 for 5-8 minutes. This young man was livid - he had to wait 8 minutes just to "heat" the oven?
He kept reading - "put pizza in oven for 20 minutes, then remove and let sit for 5 minutes." There was no way this young man was going to sit for 30 minutes while the pizza was preparing. He decided to skip a few of the steps so that he could get right to the "good stuff."
In his skipping some steps, he found a "shortcut" to getting the pizza done, but it wasn't ready.
The truth is, you can always find shortcuts, but all they do is get you to a destination, but it's never where you ultimately wanted to go. Don't shortcut - enjoy the ride!

What is the best way to set up an advertising co-op for my affiliates?

I have tried many ways of setting up co-ops for my affiliates; some of which have been winners and many of which have not been so good. What I have discovered, in my many attempts, is that there are some ways that work for some people and not for others.
I will just explain what I currently do that works... when I get a new PSA, I encourage them to quickly become EA (usually within 24 hrs it can be done). After they become EA status, I inform them that every month, it can be achieved again by simply purchasing 125-Tcredit pack or some other Standing Order worth 1500 VP.
In their second month of achieving EA status, I purchase affiliates from a few of my ECAs and give these new affiliates directly to those affiliates - as my way of rewarding them for their EA2 efforts. As a matter of fact, every month they remain EA2 or higher, they can expect a "gift" from me - just my way of saying thank you for making our team stronger.
