The Affiliate Profile was designed partly to give sponsors a heads up on the profile of members in order to guide them and assist them using the information provided. However, I personally do not place too much emphasis on it because new members may not be aware of the importance and hence just complete them without due diligence.

In any case, for the benefit of those who complete them with due diligence, some aspects of it may be necessary to look at and to be used in assisting new members to get to a good and smooth start. Some of the information that may assist sponsors to tap into it and to process it for helping their PSAs is as follows:

1. Experience

The part that requires the stating of experience in this type of business may be used to determine a novice and an advanced member. With information regarding a starter in online business or marketing, a sponsor may rightly assume and anticipate that the member may be confused and overwhelmed by the information in front of him or her, so a sponsor may choose to immediately forward a simplified version of a work plan for the affiliate to follow, especially in understanding the basics and training materials. Your goal here is to reduce the initial confusing that discourages new members from progressing and thereby reducing opt outs.

The experienced or advanced members may be more interested from the beginning, on the technical aspects of sales and sponsoring and after the initial welcome pleasantry; the sponsor may begin to direct these group of affiliates on how to engage in these activities.

2. Reason for starting an SFI business.

Another useful and important information is the reason the affiliate puts down for joining SFI which may vary with different affiliates. Some are to earn second income, some for retirement financial security, some to do sales or develop an active downline or to open a store or to generally improve standard of living etc. As you can see, these different reasons require different approaches on how you need to develop these members. You may want to generalise, teaching them the various ways to earn but specifically concentrating on their preferences or you may start to touch on their preferences first to maintain the momentum and gradually diversify to other areas.

In conjunction with these, you may also have a clue as to the area in SFI they are most and least interested from the Affiliate Profile, in order to specifically mention it in your initial contacts and also promise to follow up with them, make sure you do.

3. Do you have any physical store?

This is straight forward as you need to prepare this affiliate on understanding the benefits of the ECA program and how to process registration.

4. What is the thing you feel you need most to make your SFI business successful?

Watch out for those who fill in More Capital (money) because they may require assistance on what to invest in and how to invest in order to generate income and a good return on investment. Consider developing team building and sale skills set of this group of affiliates and at the same time, let them be aware that it is not a get-rich-quick program, but that it may take some time to get a reasonable return, depending on hard work and determination.

5. Marketing methods for building SFI business?

In most cases the methods chosen will give an indication of their areas of competence or strength, so you need to immediately acknowledge it in your initial correspondences to them, so that they will be rest assured you know their preferences and promise to assist them through the way, concentrating on their strength and improving their areas weakness.

6. Monthly Investment

Here the affiliate is required to state the minimum monthly investment potential and there will be nothing wrong to mention the benefits of investment capital but that they are not required to by SFI, only if they decide to, in order to facilitate their success and make the time spent worthwhile and qualitative.

In conclusion, I must point out that the aim here may not be to bamboozle your new team members with the details of these, but to subtly acknowledge them in your initial contacts just to give them confidence that you are interested in helping them achieve their goals or interests. However, in your mind this information is what you are going to focus on in developing these members, but as pointed out earlier, the information in the Affiliate Profile may just be an exercise on the part of new comers and in order to get the best information out of it, you may need to remind them to constantly update their profiles as they forge ahead and understand the usefulness of providing up to date information in their affiliate profiles.

There may be some reasons that cause PSAs not to recruit or engage in duplication; they do not know how, do not have the resources or/and are here for different reasons, so what you do with each category of these PSAs differ:

Apart from these theoretical training materials, guide them also to ECAs and TC direct sales where they can purchases signups without going through the hassles of their own advertising, assuming they can afford it.

2. Some may be interested and even know how to go about sponsoring and duplication but lack the necessary physical, time and financial resource to forge ahead. Those that lack the physical and time resources, need to be encouraged to purchase outright as I mentioned in #1 above, assuming they can afford it, but it becomes extremely difficult if they cannot also afford it financially and there is little you can do in this situation unless you want to be directly helpful by reassigning affiliates to them, assuming they are making efforts.

Those that have problem with only finance may need to be assisted or shown how to advertise for free; free classified sites, face-to-face recruitment, social networks and warm market.

3. The other category are those that are here for reasons other than sponsoring and duplication. Remember that SFI offers various ways to earn; TC sales, ECA, member listing, PPA and Pricebender. As you can see they may be comfortable with any or a combination of these other income generating activities.

However, you may still make efforts to extend their portfolio of interests just by highlighting the benefits of sponsoring and duplication. Let them know about direct commission, VP match, TC executive pool and leverage income. Also let them know that it is more advantageous to spread their risks and/or increase their earnings potential by extending their current interest to include sponsoring and duplication.

As is often mentioned here; it is better to build deep than to build wide, in order to get the benefit of leverage income, so my most effective strategy would be:

1. Incentive and motivation

You may use reassignment as incentive for members of your team to attain their first rank in SFI, EA by letting them know you will reassign a particular number of affiliates to them. Also some members of your team may still be on the face waiting for a push to the right side of it, so you may use reassignment to boost their morale and motivate them to assume responsibility and become hardworking since they now have a team. Apart from these, you can also use reassignment to appreciate achievements made by your PSA and therefore encouraging them to do more.

2. As a contest

It is often productive to create a contest between members of your downline often of the same rank, as I prefer, in order to challenge them to be very hardworking and to also instill in their consciousness that hard work pays. Rewarding hard work has been widely acknowledged as one of the best incentive of motivation.

3. Building higher rank members

For example you want team leaders in your team for better and more efficient team structure, so you may reassign certain number of affiliates to your hardest working EAs in order to become team leaders with the efforts of the affiliates (who may be EAs also) you reassigned to them. You will therefore advice these future team leaders to duplicate this strategy and before you know it, you will be earning big from an active deep structure you orchestrated. This is because you will earn matching VP from all EA2 in your 1-12 generations, assuming you are a BTL and more for higher rank.

The benefit of building team leaders by reassignment strategy and duplication

Assuming things go well as planned and you choose for example to reassign 5 EAs to your best 5 EAs ( who then become TLs) and this effort is duplicated across the board, it means you will get leverage income from the 5 TLs in your Gen1, 25 in Gen2, 125 in Gen3, 625 in Gen4, 3125 in Gen5, 15625 in Gen6, 78125 in Gen7, 390625 Gen8, 1953125 Gen9, 9765625 in Gen10, 48828125 in Gen11 and 244140625 in Gen 12. At the 7th Gen you are already a millionaire :)

This is not a sacrosanct formula, but a template to understanding the potential income you can derive from strategic reassignments, so it may not always work out this way and yet it does not diminish the value and potential benefit of reassignment.

One major way is to visit your sent messages if you are using the SFI message service and any message that you sent which subject is still in bold means it has not be read by the recipient.

Another way to ascertain if messages are being read or not is if your guidance and assistance are ignored. For example, if you go through a VP Ledger and discovers that your PSA has not completed an action for quite a while and you give him very simple and specific instructions on how to go about it, knowing fully well he/she needs the VP badly, but yet did not comply, then it is a pointer that he/she may not have read your message, whether you used the SFI message service or another.

Further more, if your message specifically requires a response, then it may be assumed that your message was not read or it may just be that your content does not interest your team member.

Also, if your team member asks a question that you have answered in a message recently may raise a suspicion of not haven read your previous message.

Again when you request that your PSA let you know the type of gift he/she prefers as a result of achieving a milestone, but yet you hear nothing may be because your message was not read as it is difficult to conclude that he/she may not want the gift.

Lastly, some ratings give an impression that your messages are ignored; this may be true when you are rated with a comment that he/she does not hear from you or that you are an absentee sponsor or that you are not helpful or that he/she has gained nothing from you, but knowing yourself you have not been any of those may trigger a conclusion that your messages are also been ignored.

Some will advice that you get some maturity and ability before you start bringing kids to the world but will it be the case in this business, I do not think so. Though it is an advantage to have some experience in order to be able to guide your PSA appropriately, but the lack of it should not hinder you from building your down-line while you are still on the learning curve.

In this scenario its going to be like both you and your PSA are going to be learning at the same time, assuming your PSA has no experience also, but be a smart guy and accelerate your learning of this business so that you can be ahead of your PSA kind of, in order to be of some assistance.

You can also help your PSA in the following ways:

1. Be frank to let him know you are inexperienced and let him know the usefulness of your upline team members or you can facilitate his connection to the upline by contacting them on his behalf initially.

2. While you are learning, you need to also develop relationship with a2a members and give the link of those you think will be helpful to your PSA and also encourage him to look for a2a friends from his country who can assist him.

3. Make sure you direct him to all useful training materials you come across your self; at least if you have no experience you should try to dig out useful resources from SFI and else where and forward same to him.

4. Encourage your PSA (and yourself)to be a regular at the Forum where he can ask questions and get answers from experienced affiliates.

5. Show him the way to the Ask SC database, so that he (and you) can search for useful topics on SFI and marketing, in order to boost your understanding.

7. There are a lot of helpful materials on the Training tab at your homepage; direct your PSA to each item on the tab

I can go on and on....... since you have no experience as a sponsor, you should not only direct and guide your PSA as mentioned above, also make do of the suggestions yourself in order to improve yourself as a sponsor.

Lastly, please never hesitate to praise your PSA occasionally as he forges ahead and also note that experience is not absolute because it never ends, so we are all still learners but on different level.

The three ways to earn from the TC Executive Pool MONTHLY are:

1. Personal VP

VP is earned by performing certain actions and when you become an Executive Affiliate (EA) by receiving at least 1500 VP, you will be qualified to share from the TC Executive Pool, which is real cash included in your monthly commission. The more VP you receive, the more income your earn.

2. VP Match

As you advance in rank by receiving more VP to become a team leader, then you receive 1 VP for every VP earned in that particular month by qualifying members of your team. However, there are some easy conditions you need to meet. This is a big way to earn in SFI especially if you are able to develop a very active team.

3. Fast Track Bonus

This was recently introduced and if you qualify as a Fast Track member then you stand to benefit even more by earning additional 10% on your personal VP in the TC Exec Pool. For example if your personal monthly VP is 1500, it means you receive an additional 150 VP, bringing your total VP to 1650 VP and therefore increasing the income you earn. You will also earn this extra 10% bonus on your VP match as mentioned in #2 above.

To conclude, this combination means personal VP + VP Match + Fast Track bonus = monthly income from TC Executive Pool.

The best places and the best ways to get answers about SFI will actually depend on the type of answer you want to get. However, I will attempt to take a general approach to answer your question, by the points below:

1. The first most important place to get answers is the search box at the very top of your homepage. The way to do this is to type the word to the closest proximity of what you seek and you select from the displayed suggestions.

2. Another very important place most affiliates may not know about is the SFI Fresh Desk Knowledge Base. This is a very versatile place to visit because it covers almost everything you want to know about SFI. Go through each heading and click on your area of interest here:

3. The tabs (not the To-Do-List) on the home page contain very important information about various aspects of SFI business. Clicking each and selecting the appropriate option from the drop down menu may answer some of your questions.

4. The Ask SC (Ask Sfi Community) is another one and the best way to use it is to search the database with appropriate keywords relevant to the question for which you seek answer. You may even choose the category you are interested in, so as to narrow the search. Alternatively, you can pose the question to the Ask SC by clicking on Submit question in blue colour under the Ask SC tab in your homepage.

5. You may also get answers from members of your upline hopefully. You can access this by clicking on the Support tab on your SFI homepage and select Your Upline from the drop down menu. I advice you start from your immediate sponsor and move upwards until you get a satisfactory response.

6. The Forum is one of the easiest and fastest to get a reply and possible solution, depending on the calibre of affiliates participating at the time and the type of question you ask. However, I highly recommend you always post questions here and it is very rear not to get a solution, especially if you are patient at times. Just select the appropriate category relating to the issue you want to address. A big picture question may be asked under the ASK GERY section of the forum in order to get a reply from the President himself.

7. The a2a network is another important place to get answers about SFI; request friendship from any affiliates of interest to you using certain criteria like location, language, participation and contribution to SFI business, dedication etc. Ensure you place special ones on you Top Friends for easy access when needed. Just be free to ask those questions by sending a2a messages and please note that cross solicitation is prohibited and attracts severe penalty.

8. Certainly there are some personal questions as it relates to SFI you may not want to be in the public domain of SFI affiliates, or questions that may only require answers from the Organisation itself. In this instance, you may need to submit a ticket to Support by clicking on the Hot Spots tab on the homepage and select Support from the drop down menu. However, on busy period it may take quite a while to get a reply.

Finally, let me add that from the list above, the best to apply will depend on the type of question and the urgency with which you need a reply. Also, great business people are great readers, so I advise you to personally put a lot of effort to acquire knowledge and understanding by reading the materials available on SFI site, they are for free.

The main benefits of an EA status over AFF status are the TripleClicks (TC) Executive Pool, Co-sponsor commission and ECA royalties, as far as the reason we joined this business is concerned. However, we may not necessary spend a dime or maybe very little to be EA if our sales and sponsoring efforts are successful.

You can figure out what I am driving at here, referrals, sales and sponsoring efforts require advertising in either free or paid media which you are willing to invest in and if successful, they will automatically make you EA. You may be lucky with one good sale a month and make your EA status anyway, with the accompanying benefits I stated above. In this scenario you will be building your business gradually and as you go, you will develop the potential for upward mobility (rank).

On the other hand, just making a purchase to “buy” your EA status without making efforts to build your business as mentioned in the paragraph above is like living a false life or building a castle in the sand and one word that describes the result is; unsustainable. The big question here is: what is the return on your investment (ROI)? You got no PSAs, no PRMs, no referred ECA, no rank upgrade, in fact no structure at all, so again, it like engaging in a merry-go-round or living in a fantasy world. As far as I am concerned, you may not even be better than an affiliate who is AFF and has PSAs and PRMs from whom he earns direct commission which you cannot earn since you haven’t any.

Do not get me wrong it is very important to aspire to EA status monthly, not just for the sake of it, but as the basics for building a sustainable online business here and the best way to do that is to engage properly and adequately in some or all income generating activities, especially team building, by purposeful and targeted advertising, rather than putting the cart before the horse by consistently “buying” your EA status and not working your business.

However, to close, I will not discourage you from investing to make EA, provided it is in conjunction with building your team and actively participating in order areas in order to maximise the benefits of EA as mentioned in my opening paragraph and for chances to achieve higher status. This also mean that while your investment in advertising may subsequently result in your EA status, only investment by purchasing to become EA may not be sustainable and at that point, you lose all benefits including your CSAs.

Let me break my answer into 2 parts:

1. maintaining your SFI position.

Before you go on vacation remember to activate the VP Streak Vacation Mode here https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/#vacation especially if you know you will not be able to login and do some work every day in order to preserve your Daily Versapoint Streak badge.

Ensure to set up a standing order to automatically process your purchase(s) since you may not be able to do so manually, in order to achieve the sales VP the purchase(s) usually contributes towards maintaining your SFI position.

However, no matter how you look at it, you will certainly still miss out on some vital action VP because of limited or no actions on your SFI business resulting from your lack of internet or limited connection. One way to mitigate this is to do the best you can do to ensure your team continue to receive the necessary assistance to be active, which may lead to your receiving some much needed Team Support action VP. This leads to the next part of my answer:

2. Supporting your team

There seems to be little or nothing you can do to support your team when the internet is inaccessible. However, you may be able to do something with a limited internet connection by ensuring before you go on vacation, you have created a database of solutions to some recurring questions from team members, especially old members. It will therefore be easier to send prepared answer or adapt them to support your team with limited internet connection.

Another possibility is to connect the 'weaker' ones to the 'stronger' ones before you go and appeal to the 'stronger' ones to be of assistance till you are back, assuming you have a team of some 'strong' members.

Further more, link them to some available and dedicated upline members and encourage them to communicate to these upline members in case they need urgent support and they cannot reach you.

Also encourage them to bring all matters to the forum while you are away and let them know the benefit of engaging in the forum.

Having said this and no matter how you strive to accomplish all I have mentioned, it will be painstakingly difficult to be able to maintain your SFI position if your vacation is unnecessarily long and becomes unhealthy to the success of your business, so be wise and make it as short as you can, especially without internet connection.

I will encourage anyone to try any income generating activity here and since the SFIPPA is an income program available to all SFI affiliates, why should you not participate in as much as you understand all it entails. For every action there is a result and the success or failure depends on how you approach it and at times luck.

The main disadvantage of the program is that SFI signups are not your PSAs, so you will not benefit in terms of direct commission, VP match and ECA royalties if they become ECAs. This is because you have giving away your right to continuous income you may earn from them by opting to earn once-off cash benefits which vary with their level of work.

Another downside is that SFI may decide to temporarily suspend the program if there is over supply, but you will be notified of this development. So this is unlike the usual PSA signups without this restriction.


On the good side, earning a once-off income is a fair compensation in case the signups become inactive or opt out afterwards. However, the once-off income is to a maximum of $10 per signup, by comparing your SFIPPA signups AVERAGE with non-PPA company AVERAGE, with the breakdown as follows:

1. Within 5% (plus or minus), you earn $1.50 per sign-up.

2. Outside of 5% but within 20% (plus or minus), you earn $.50 per sign-up.

3. Outside of 20% (plus or minus), no payment.

Even more:

1. Signups from USA or Canada gives an additional $0.50 each

2. Earn an additional $8 bonus on any of your sign-ups that achieve the rank of Team Leader within 90 days of signing up.

Another good thing is that you can monitor your SFIPPA activities on your PPA Report because you will not be notified of any signup.

As you can see, there is the potential to earn good income from the PPA program, especially if you are an experienced marketer or has the capability to signup members in droves at a reasonable cost to you. However, you have to be patient to receive the payment because unlike our monthly commission, income from the SFIPPA program is paid 3 months from the month of signup, so you have to have patience also to reap the fruit of your labour.
