I am assuming a poor rating to be below the 3-point mark. Don’t be distressed because not everyone is honest in their rating. First of all, I have not seen any statement where SFI has given any indicators of how this rating should be done, therefore , the results may be very subjective. Some affiliates complete the form just to receive the Versa Points!

All affiliates should be grateful to their sponsors for introducing them to this program. I am certain that you have made attempts to contact them in one way or the other, apart from the usual initial message that is sent automatically.

It might be prudent to ask the affiliate exactly what is being rated: your communication skills: i.e. your ability to express facts and ideas clearly and convincingly; your planning and preparedness: i.e. your ability to anticipate, determine goals, identify relevant information, set priorities and deadlines and create a shared vision for your team.

I think, if the ‘what’ is clearly defined by/to the affiliate, the result of the rating may change tremendously. Unless that is done, there will always be an unbalanced approach to the rating. Just continue to be an awesome sponsor!

This would depend on your personality. When you talk to people face to face you actually see whether they are reluctant, bored or excited as you are. You can immediately change your approach or adapt to whatever situation you are faced with. It may be challenging but then, it helps you to grow in your business and become bolder or more confident.

Using the online approach is also good. Here you can be as aggressive and as creative as you want to be. Remember you are competing with others so you want to have that edge. It means that while you may not be there to influence them they can read on their own time and build their curiosity.

The card is a gift and generally, people appreciate receiving gifts. Ensure that you have explained how the card is used so that they will not be in doubt or think it’s a scam.

Either method demonstrates that you are interested in the individual. Since building a downline is crucial to this business you should always be willing to try something new – something you have not done before. This will help you to step up your game and would definitely bring success.

You, the team leader must lead by example. The leader must INSPIRE the team to achieve new heights. They must set the standard that they want the team to follow and duplicate. Your badges are great examples of your activities so don’t expect your team to do things you won’t do.

Get the team excited. Competitions are a good way to get your team motivated. Give a reward for goals achieved, no matter how big or small. After all every small goal met is a step towards achieving the next goal. Send out a weekly newsletter to everyone in your team. You could include tips for new people, recognition of goals or levels met or ideas for building your SFI business. Be informative and be regular.

Ask for feedback from your team. Get ideas from other individuals on what works for them how they have benefited and share it in future newsletters with the rest of the team.
Communication cannot be overemphasized. You have to encourage feedback and get the communication going two ways ( the ones who give you feedback on a regular basis are likely to be your active affiliates so those are the ones you will likely have to work with.

Once the communication starts to flow back and forth ask for their ideas and opinions, get tips on what works for them and share it with the rest of the team
It may take time to get your team actively involved but if you are consistent you will achieve exactly what you want.

Communication:

How often do we hear or read of expressions of appreciation from those whom we might have dealings with. Meditate on how you feel when they are addressed to you. Just think of the difference you can make in the life of a fellow affiliate.

Even though you may have time to concentrate on two blogs, it would be less time consuming to share information about both SFI and TripleClicks in one blog. I would definitely respond to my sponsor and co-sponsor immediately so that I would be better guided by either or both of them. I would not procastinte in wondering whether this was a scam or not so as not to lose precious time.

I would definitely take time to read the material before plunging into the tabs. I did not read the entire information page and therefore I never received the Fast Start bonus. Today, I regret not having had the patience to do so.

I would become an ECA earlier in the process of seting up my goals. The main focus of this business is to maintain your status each month and to look for the most cost effective ways of boosting your income.

I would learn as much as I can from the marketing gurus and build a strong downline and help each affiliate to do the same. I never really recognized how vitally important that strategy is in becoming a successful business person within the SFI family.

The training materials and resources that are provided and that are easily accessible to all affiliates are up-to-date and relevant to our business. The training is of a very high standard and you can get this wealth of information without cost to you. Once the rules are followed and the tools are applied success can be easily attained. .

Boast about our support system. Affiliates are never left to wander in security. Programs such as a2a, Forum and ASK SC are geared to support those in doubt or who need additional confirmation on any topic.

A very good question since success in SFI is contingent on sponsoring and duplicating affiliates. Both methods of buying or learning to sponsor affiliates can be useful but I would look at both the cost involved and the quality of affiliates that can be obtained.

The cost of purchasing affiliates will be depend on the avenues you use. SFI, through auctions or private sellers are available but the cost can be exorbitant. You can also acquire them through paid advertising which can also be pretty high. Therefore, it depends on how much you are willing to invest.

On the other hand, you can acquire affiliates through free advertising sites, billboards, magazines, etc. if you are prepared to spend the time creating your own advertisements and aggressively using the social networks such as face book, Twitter, email and others.

With regard to the quality of affiliates you may acquire, there is no guarantee. Some may work, while others may have only signed up out of curiosity. Since you did not have a chance to communicate with that PSA personally, it may be difficult to find out their reason for their interest. The affiliate whom you personally sponsor through direct contact or what we would call warm advertising would be more likely to be the gem you are looking for – the consistent worker, the team player.

On a personal note, I have never purchased an affiliate. I won some in a contest and not many proved to be consistent or productive. However, I have had the privilege of sponsoring others. Since I focus on quality and not quantity, I have a direct communication network with each and together we make a dynamic team. Personally sponsor a few and work with them to be consistent. Then encourage them to do the same with their group.

My suggestion is that you do not allow time constraints to be the motivating factor in your decision. It does not take long to give a friend or co-worker some info about SFI. They may also see your actions everyday, or you may be able to share your experiences with them over lunch, coffee break, etc.

Once you have Affiliates below you, whether PSAs or CSAs, you are an SFI leader. You can become a strong and successful leader if you have the confidence and knowledge of the organization. Therefore, knowledge is key. These affiliates need to be guided and the best way you can do that is by your example. Begin by defining your goals and helping your team to do the same.

Once you are committed your team members will feel that sense of belongong and be encouraged to do more. Urge them to explore their talents and experiences so that they can contribute to the success of the objectives of the team. That feeling of accomplishment will help to motivate and build enthusiasm.

You should consistently communicate with them so that you can build a climate of trust and respect. Help them to feel a sense of ownership in the ideas that are created/expressed. Remember something special about each team member so that he feels connected and valued. Mention their achievements in your blog/website/Leadership page.

The new affiliate should not try to calculate how much funds will be earned in the first month. This is not an internet marketing scam or a get rick quick scheme. Accept the fact that there’s no such thing as something for nothing and you really are going to have to be successful.

Any newbie should not try to read/learn everything about SFI in the first month. You will become overwhelmed and will drop off eventually. Take time to learn the system. There is a wealth of information that will be useful guides to success. Don’t allow other to dictate your pace. However, don’t procrastinate on the important action of logging on everyday and complete the red tabs.
