How can I motivate my friends to join SFI?

Do it yourself!
Friends and family are not always the easiest people to introduce to SFI.
Show them that you can earn an income online by creating an SFI business with a solid foundation.
Show them that you have fun doing it and that you enjoy being associated with other people who want success in their lives.
Show them how long it takes you to go through your daily 'to do' list and show them the compensation plan afterwards so they can see how you earn while enjoying yourself. Share any success you have with them.
Don't try to convince them with words. Convince them with actions and success.

Where is the best place to market SFI?

There is no best place.
Market it every where and at every opportunity. Don't ever let a chance go by to promote your SFI business or introduce others.
SFI is a real opportunity to make a good income and you SHOULD share it.
