This indeed a wise question.

I suspect that a lot of those new affiliates' decision to join SFI would have been influenced by the Signing Bonus. I know I would have been.

As sponsors we now need to capitalize on their desire to earn more.

Before going any further however I believe that we need to remind them of two things:

1. They have the opportunity of increasing that signing bonus to $100 by becoming a Gold Fast Tracker

2. The signing bonus cash is theirs but it will be paid out as a percentage (3%)of their monthly commission up to 18 months. They don't get it as a lump sum and they have to earn a commission in order to receive it. If they sign up and do nothing - they get nothing.

Now to promote increasing their bonus:

- Remind them of the messages that SFI Support is sending them about Fast Track.

- Invite them to contact you with any questions they may have about the bonus and Fast Track.

- Give them the link https://www.sfimg.com/FT and encourage them to look at the second paragraph of the Fast Track Benefits.

- Highlight the lasting benefits of being a Fast Tracker

- If you are a Fast Tracker tell them to have a look at your Fast Track badge on your profile

- If you are not a Fast Tracker, urge them not to miss the opportunity as you did. Be frank about it and tell them how you regret not taking advantage of the Fast Track opportunity. You dont want them to have the same regret.

- Do remember to remind them that they have 10 days from when they signed up to SFI to become Fast Track.

- This time can be extended if they are a facing a hardship such as limited payment options or other obstacle, they may apply for a 20-day extension at

To increase their $20 Signing Bonus, they need to be Fast Trackers so what you are doing is really promoting Fast Track. By becoming Fast Trackers not only do they increase their Signing Bonus but also receive other benefits of being a Fast Trackers.

I provide training for my PSAs.

For my CSAs, I leave the training up to their own sponsors and I tend to focus on supporting and encouraging them along. At the same time I invite my CSAs to contact me if they have any issues they need help with.

Regarding the training I provide for my PSA, I have standard messages that I send out to all new PSAs. These are in a short series starting from Welcome, Overview of the Business, VersaPoints, How we earn money in SFI. These messages go out within the affiliates 1st 8 days in SFI.

How the affiliate reacts to these messages will influence the type of training they receive from me.

1. Those who don’t bother loging in after signing up.

I would try and make contact encouraging them to log in and activate their business. If they don’t respond within 14 days of signing up, I move on and as long as they don’t opt out, they will continue to receive routine messages encouraging them to log in. I would move on and focus on the workers.

2. The affiliates who are fast workers - those that start off with a bang. I just let them go.

I know that some sponsors tell their keen affiliates not to collect all the VPs from the ‘to-do-list’ and Launchpads and to save some for their 2nd month in SFI ones they have collected 1500 VPs. I used to do the same. I now just let the keen workers work. I warn them that it could be difficult to collect AVPs ones they have exhausted the standard to-do-list actions and Launchpad lessons but the decision on what to do is entirely theirs. That is why I encourage them to start promoting TC products and services and also start recruiting for affiliates early.

For me the best way of training these PSAs is to help them with their advertising and recruiting if they need help. Teaching them how to compose ads, Key coding, hit tracking, running ad campaigns, how to work out ROI, identifying markets and target audiences, identifying products for promotion, where to advertise etc..

When they acquire PSAs, I teach them how to sponsor their people and develop their teams.

3. The affiliates who seem to be after quick money.

In my Welcome letter, I point out to the new PSAs that SFI is not a ‘rich quick, make money for nothing’ scheme. I started doing that about 6 months ago and since then the number of new PSAs just after quick money has dropped drastically. I still get about 3 of those a month though.

I find that these people tend to keep firing the same questions all the time such as: how do I get paid; how much will my pay be; how do I get the SFI Credit Card etc.. I reply to them and give them SFI links where they can find the answers. It is quite obvious that they are in a hurry because they keep asking questions which they would not have asked had they properly read the information at the links or the documents I send them.

I do not provide direct training for these people at this stage. The messages I send them would be to let them know that they need to work in order for their businesses to grow and be fruitful and also to let them know that they need to be patient. This is a real business and real business often have to have time to grow.

If they change their attitude and start to work at their businesses, then I will provide training based on what their actual needs are.

4. The affiliates who are hesitant and unsure.

These PSAs still need to be convinced about SFI. I believe that to be really passionate about SFI, they need to be fully convinced that SFI is the vehicle that would take them to their dream destination, enable them to reach their goals.

The training I provide for them is more in the line of coaching and encouraging, urging them on to have a go. I tell them they cannot make a mistake with SFI and its costing them absolutely nothing, so have a go.

5. The affiliates who are slow starters.

There could be a variety of reasons why they are slow starters. It could be that they are busy at their regular jobs, sickness in the family, we do not speak the same language, not good readers, they are naturally slow, are procrastinators etc.

If they indicate that they are willing to work and learn about SFI then I work closely with these people even to the point of taking them step by step, walking them through such things as how to action their ‘to-do-lists’, how to enter the Daily Grand etc..

The emphasis here is to work with the workers and provide the appropriate training depending on the affiliates needs. I make it quite clear to the half-hearted and inactive affiliates that I would work with them and provide training for them provided they are willing to learn and to work.

Yes you are missing out.

As you rightly say, SFI has great ways of communicating with your team but these are limited mainly to the SFI environment only. Why limit yourself?

I would suspect that all your team members do not limit themselves just to SFI. Those team members who you did not physically approach and recruit somehow found you and SFI. They would have been surfing the internet and most likely social sites and they came across your ads or SFI ads. In other words they are already on FaceBook, WhatsApp, Skype, Twitter, LinkedIn etc..

Not all people who sign up to SFI go to the SFI site after doing so. Not all affiliates visit the SFI site regularly, Not all check their emails regularly. You therefore need to communicate with your team in any way you can.

I would therefore encourage you not to limit your communication with them to the SFI ways only. Use outside resources also, especially with those who are inactive team members. You don't have to 'preach' SFI especially if on social sites. Simply make regular contact and subtly remind them about SFI.

If you are able to 'private message' them, do so. Remind them of how great SFI is and again offer your help.

Their 1st focus should be to action their ‘to-do-list’ when they log in daily. Collect ALL their Daily, Weekly and Monthly VPs and do not log out until all the red tabs across the Affiliate center page have turned grey.
Don’t forget to enter the Daily Grand

Their 2nd focus should be to recruit and sponsor Affiliates. If you sponsor them well and they recruit, sponsor and start duplication, earning themselves VPs and advancing along the SFI levels, they as sponsor will also earn VPs.

There are of course other ways of earning VPs, as you rightly said, but these are the main ones I would recommend for your downline to focus on –

Collect all the readily available VPs in your ‘to-do-lists’ &
Work hard at ensuring Duplication.

Before I discovered SFI I looked at the internet for an online business that I could do on a part time basis. I couldn't find anything or should I say anything that I was comfortable with. I spend a period of about 2 years looking.

A lot of them promised a quick and easy way of making lots of money with hardly anything to do. I didn't like those. I knew from experience that nothing worthwhile can be had with nothing to do or next to nothing to do. Some of them also asked for upfront investments to start, with nothing but promises and some testimonials of big returns. I never got into those. My suspicious nature I suppose.

Of the few schemes that I looked at in depth, I did not like the way they were set up. I discovered that they appeared to be ‘fly by nights’ with questionable reputations. To my relief and satisfaction a few of them soon collapsed and disappeared. They would have been a total waste my time and money.

And then I came across SFI.

Well I also did have an in depth look at SFI. My suspicious nature again! I liked what I found, especially the fact that it was not pushing 'easy and quick money.' I joined and the longer I stay with SFI, the more I get to love it. Its now like a good book - hard to put down!

I came to realise soon after I joined that SFI is the real deal.

This came about when I came to realise that this is a well-established and reputable company that constantly strives to better itself. I believe that it is at the top of its game with its management, marketing, products, and training and how it rewards and encourages its people.

I also love the SFI culture. It is one of the best that I have come across and that is probably one of the main reasons why I am still here. It is a culture of respect, acknowledgement and encouragement. While affiliates are encouraged to achieve, they are not pushed or made to feel uncomfortable. It respects the fact that we are all different in our personalities, abilities and circumstances. Successes are also acknowledged and celebrated.

My previous sponsor was the main influence. She is unfortunately no longer with SFI but she was constantly in contact with me, guiding and encouraging me, helping me and getting me to know SFI. I will always be grateful to her.

It was really through her work that I came to realise that SFI is indeed the ‘real deal.’

If this is just a one off occasion, I would suggest that you work on your Daily, Weekly, Monthly ‘to-do-lists.’ Get those done and collect the VPs. Those are valuable ACTION VPs. Collect them and maintain your VP Streak. A long VP Streak can be quite impressive and it certainly helps you when you are urging your team to log in daily. You are leading by example.

You should manage to do your lists within the hour.

Next, look for your team members messages and answer or at least acknowledge them. If you cannot attend to their requests straight away, just send them a short message stating when you will come back to them about their requests. Make sure you do follow up with them as you stated.

The third thing I would then attend to would be posting an advertisement. It doesn’t have to be part of an advertising campaign. Pop a short ad on FaceBook, Twitter or other social media sites. Collecting VPs via the ‘to-do-lists’ in my opinion is largely a maintenance activity, posting an ad however is a forward moving activity. Its an activity that is solely to enable business growth.

If you are unable to spend more than an hour daily on your SFI business for a sustained period of time, then I would suggest that you keep the same pattern as per above : ‘To-do-Lists’, Team messages, but Advertising may have to be set aside every now and then for other activities. These would have to be planned for well in advance. You can set out a schedule for the third activity of the hour eg, Ad posting, Bidding at the Pricebender Auctions, Reviewing your Standing Order etc...

Because of your limited time, don’t be distracted by other matters. Simply stay focused on what you need to achieve within the hour and go for it.

I believe that to in order to make SFI more fun and exciting for your team, you’ve got to work at developing your team. I am not talking about the number of people in your team.

The aim here is to create a team spirit. You want your team members to feel that they belong and to feel safe and comfortable within the team environment. The exciting and fun part will never happen if they are not comfortable with you and with the team environment.

This takes time and it requires planned and deliberate actions. Here are some of them:

Share some aspects of your life with them. I always find that if I talk a little about myself, I am in a way revealing something of myself. I am opening up and letting others in. I find that most people respond well to this. They in turn, tend to respond in a similar manner and share something of their lives as well.

When communicating with you team members keep it simple. Use every day language and stay away from jargon and slang. Keep it light, friendly, warm and courteous. You want your team members to easily understand and enjoy what you are saying. It makes them warm towards you and would most likely follow your suggestions and take part in SFI and team activities. Work hard at cultivating and encouraging them to communicate with you regularly.

Create free team competitions and if you are able to, provide prizes for the winners. They can be serious or silly ones or both but everyone within the team must be encouraged to take part.

Announce to the whole team the winners and make a big thing of it.

Announce to the team those who have reached some milestone, birthdays, anniversaries etc.. These do not always have to be SFI or business related. Be careful regarding members privacy however. If in doubt check first with the individuals concerned.

A little tip here:

To find out members' SFI anniversaries and birthdays, use the anniversary and birthday filters at your Genealogy report. I do this every day and send an e-card to the member whose birthday or anniversary it is. These are always appreciated.

The last point I want to make, and this is the big one – Work at developing your team members to be successful SFI business people. Being successful is not only rewarding but it’s also exciting and fun. How you go about achieving this? Well volumes of books have been written about this subject!!

would say that the vast majority of sign-ups are not really engaged with SFI at the beginning. They are new to SFI and probably know nothing about affiliate businesses. I am always delighted the next day to see that they haven’t opt out. If they are active the next day, that’s even better.

When advertising and talking with prospects, I really make the point of letting them know that SFI is not a ‘get rich quick’ venture. It will take time to grow their business and they will have to work consistently and patiently to ensure success.

The reason why I do this is because I want to reduce the number of people who sign up to SFI with the ‘easy money’ frame of mind.

When they do join SFI, I send them a warm welcoming letter and chat with them if I see that they are online.

In my welcome letter, I also talk about the fact that SFI is not a ‘get rich quick scheme’ and that they have just opened up their own business with the SFI.

I want them to be absolutely clear that they are building their business, that they do not work for SFI and that any monies they make will be due largely to their own efforts. If they don’t work, their business will not grow and they do not get any money.

I am not trying to scare them away, on the contrary. I want them to stay. I try to tell them how great SFI is and that as their sponsor, I am here to help them. I invite them to contact me and to use me.

In my letter, as well as the Start / Basics and Launchpad links, I also include in there, the link comparing SFI with other similar businesses, the link to compensation (how we earn our money) and the link to my leadership page.

That is basically all I do with them on Day 1.

The next day, I check their activities and their status. How I react will depend largely on what they have/haven’t done.

The new Team Leader qualification requirement actually confirms and heightens my current business strategy – Duplication.

I want as many affiliates as possible on my team to be Team Leaders. People who actually have teams and are leading their teams – teaching them and encouraging them to grow their businesses - by duplication.

Before this requirement for Team Leaders, one can have the rank of BTL, STL etc without actually having an active team. Now, as from January 2016, team leaders must have people within their teams of at least 1 x EA2 rank in order to qualify for BTL. There are different requirements for different Team Leader ranks.

To be a Team Leader, one of the main requirements which is now being emphasized, is to be a leader – to sponsor, teach, encourage, and help your team members to be leaders themselves. This has always been my strategy in growing my business. I like the way this has been refocused and highlighted by the new team leader requirements.

On top of this SFI has introduced and invested a lot of money in the Signing Bonuses. I really like the way this is linked to Fast Track giving the new affiliates the ability to increase their bonuses up to $100 by becoming Gold Fast Tracker.

If affiliates become Fast Trackers, not only do they increase their Signing Bonuses, but they also receive many other benefits : – a permanent bonus on future earnings - a boost in their VP counts - introduces them to TripleClicks by the requirement to purchase good of the minimum value of $20 – helps them with the E365 contest etc... It really gets them involved. It helps them become competent SFI operators and go-getters, those who take the initiative. In a word – Leaders.

So how does this affect my business strategies?

As I said before, it confirms my current strategy and I will continue on as before but with the additional emphasis on promoting the Signing Bonuses linked with Fast Track.

Promotions, promotions, promotion and more promotions. That's the answer.

I could try and have a fancy answer for you but really it all boils down to the fact that if we don't promote the TripleClicks Gateways they are absolutely useless to us. They do not generate sales all by themselves.

We have to promote them wide and as often as possible. Every opportunity we get, whether we are formally advertising, driving around in our vehicles with Wave3 stickers, or in casual conversations - promote TripleClicks.

When formally advertising whether its paid or free advertising, we can increase our chances of success by being selective on what we promote - Auctions? Games? Individual products and services – all the time using our TripleClicks Gateways.

HERE'S A TIP:

When promoting products and services push those items that are on ‘Hot Deals’ and ‘Closeout Sales’ especially those items that are discounted heavily + free shipping + free tracking and are being sold by ECAs that are rated 4+ stars.

TripleClicks sell products competitively on the international market. We can enhance that by promoting items as described above, after all everyone loves a bargain and in the process the number/value of our sales increases.

Use that tip and see how you go. Our gateways do not generate sales for us. They are only tools. We need to use those tools to generate sales. It’s how we use the tools that matter.
