How do you convince someone that they can earn a substantial income with SFI?

The question was "how do I convince someone that they can earn a substantial income from SFI?" I like that question, because it is so very easy to answer - in one response!!!
If you want to show them how successful they can be - the best answer is to become successful yourself.

The best way to become a Team Leader is by building a team!!! What I am saying is that SFI has much to say on this subject; so much so, that we don't really even need to be trying to find answers for this question, all we really need to do is search on the site.
One of the lessons that I was reading was teaching how to become a leader - which is exactly what is being asked. If we simply keep sponsoring, keep responding to our new affiliates, keep using our own store - truth is, we will in fact, become team leaders.

What would be a good way to hold offline classes or seminars to train my PSAs about SFI and TripleClicks?

I believe one of the best ways of holding offline training classes is by creating webinars that are recordable.
I know people that do live seminars and other things, and I believe they are really good; but the truth is that most of the interested individuals and "newbies" ask the same types of questions; therefore, it might be well to simply start off by creating a recorded webinar.
What do I need to do to make myself the best SFI affiliate possible?

Really, that question can be answered in a few words. In order for me to be successful in SFI, I simply need to have enough people working in my downline that I can retire - period!!!
The true answer is the same for everyone - get enough people doing the work, and you can sit back.
If I can't get enough people, I would need enough consistent customers that my monthly income would still be enough to retire.

First of all, I wanted to say that I LOVE the way that you made that question.
Now, on to the answer to your question.
The truth is that you are 100% correct, it is impossible to build a successful SFI business with inactive affiliates & doubtful customers. It doesn't matter how great a plan, if you don't have people to help you implement it, it won't work.
For that reason I am saying, keep advertising. You see, if you have many inactive affiliates, you should keep on advertising so that you will attract the RIGHT affiliate. Marketing is a game of numbers; which means that if you continue marketing, someone will eventually be a winner.

SFI to run on autopilot?
The ONLY way to get something to go on autopilot is to get someone else to do it for you. The truth is, you may not want your SFI business to run autopilot. The best way, I believe, to get your SFI business operating in maximum capacity is to develop a team of individuals who are your ACTIVE affiliates.
Once you have developed a strong team of affiliates who are doing GREAT work on your team, you might be able to change your strategy from GAINING to teaching. Teaching your active affiliates how to be great recruiters then becomes an active role.
The more you teach them, the greater their team will become. The better their team becomes the more confidence they have in order do more. The more they do, the more successful they become AND inadvertently, the more successful you are.

I believe your question is a very serious one, but at the same time, it is pretty simple to answer - at least for me. You wanted to know if you should focus on one stream, many streams, or every stream.
The first part of my answer is that it is impossible to focus on EVERY stream. Because SFI represents so many things, it is totally impossible for you to focus on everything at the same time - so that one is out.
Should you focus on one thing? Well, you could very well just focus on one of the ways that SFI builds a business; except that you might be a little longer at the task. What I am saying is that by only looking at one stream of income, you are slowing down the process. It is still possible, it just may take a little longer.
Lastly, should you focus on many forms of income? The answer is yes! I would suggest that you look at 2 or 3 ways that SFI grants additional income and start focusing on those - then branch out and discover more... as your knowledge and experience increases.

How can I find affiliates who are truly interested in SFI and who will remain active?

There are many ways to find truly interested affiliates for SFI, but I believe your question is two-fold, so I'll answer the first part first.
To find interested affiliates, you only need to market to a target audience. When you market to an audience that is wanting what you are offering, you make a catch. That's the problem with many marketers - they use their marketing campaign, but never advertise to those that want what they have. Think about it, why try to sell fur coats to Hawaiians? It doesn't make sense, exactly! Instead, find out what Hawaiians want and find a way to package what you have to be what they want. Simple.
The second part of the question was "who will remain active..." This one is tricky because there is NO WAY of knowing who will remain active, but I would suggest that the more you market and the more you stay faithful to your affiliates' growth, the better chance you have of them remaining active.

Since SFI has been around for many years, is the playing field fair for someone who have just started in SFI like me?

You are very correct about SFI being around for many years. I am so glad that this company has been around, it proves that it is a very well organized entity and that it has staying power.
As for the company being able to make the playing field level for everyone...
I formerly believed that those who started before me had an advantage and I thought it was unfair. Then as time continued on, I realized that it wasn't that anyone had an advantage over me, but that everyone is the same. My income with SFI will NOT be hindered if someone else does well - as a matter of fact, the better they do, the better I do. So, yes, it is level.
