The most important task I focus on is encouraging my team to form the habit of signing in daily and carefully completing the daily tasks, Until they have a strong foundation in this basic task, they will find themselves overwhelmed by the rest.

As they complete the tasks, and read the material, their knowledge base will grow. As their confidence grows, they will begin to apply what they learn.

What yardstick should I use to give an unbiased and appropriate rating of my Sponsor each month?

I believe that it is important to evaluate your Sponsor based upon your interaction with him or her. First of all, be mindful that it is likely that your sponsor has quite a substantial number of affiliates in their down line and that response times can vary. Take the initiative to contact them when you have questions or issues.

1. Does your sponsor send out Group and individual emails in response to inquiries?
2. Do you send emails to your sponsor? Does he/she respond promptly and

How do I convince my team members that playing Eager Zebra games is beneficial to them?

Playing the games is a diversion, a distraction, and a nice way to take a break between SFI tasks. The prizes can be quite generous or quite small, so playing is more or less just for the fun of it.

You do accumulate AVP and can win some TCredits, which are nice side benefits, but whether or not playing is beneficial is a very subjective question.

I would certainly not compel your team members to play, but if they like playing games and enjoy them, they can be fun in moderation.

A good sponsor can make a world of difference in your progress and success in SFI. Your Co- Sponsor may or may not be as important, depending on their level of involvement. I personally have an excellent sponsor, who is generous with his time and expertise, and is always willing to give timely advice.Conversely,I have never heard from my co-sponsor.

I am co-sponsor to some folks who sometimes tell me that their sponsor does very little, and at that point, I step up and work with them

What do you say to an affiliate who thinks that doing the daily 1 VP actions is a waste of time?

Try to impress upon the affiliate that VP are the basis of all potential success in SFI.

Without the completion of tasks and the accumulation of the requisite points, it is impossible to advance in rank and qualify for the bonuses and perks attached. Advancement through the levels have minimum requirements of cumulative points.

Although it may seem tedious to complete small tasks, by completing the tasks the affiliate gains knowledge about how to best conduct their business.

What can I do with affiliates who become EA in the first month and then stop, saying SFI is not what they expected?

This is the first real hurdle in the new affiliate's business. The enthusiasm of the first month, as well as the relative ease of accumulating available VP to hit the first milestone, can sometimes be dampened if the new affiliate doesn't understand the program.

The fact that it is necessary to reach Executive Affiliate status for two consecutive months before realizing the financial benefits is sometimes overlooked in the excitement of learning the new business,

I want to recruit only SERIOUS affiliates. What should I tell prospects about SFI to ensure this?

I think that it would be quite difficult to pre-screen affiliate candidates, other than to be sure to give them an honest assessment of the amount of work involved based on your own experience. People have a variety of motivations for choosing to invest their time and resources into a new venture.

Ask them what their motivations are: If they have more time than money, emphasize the free and/or low cost methods of building the business. If they have resources to invest, advise them how

Is it wise to offer non-SFI related incentives to my CSAs and PSAs? For example, create a standing order and get a free DVD?

I would hesitate to offer those sort of incentives for a few reasons:

You're setting up your relationship as paternalistic, if your affiliates do X, you will give them a prize. Some folks might come to expect a prize for every thing that they follow through on.

Prizes are fine, but as your group gets larger, it may become unsustainable and quite expensive. What is manageable to do for 10 people, may not be manageable for 100 people.

Is cold calling, using a local telephone directory, a good method for attracting new PSAs?

Interesting question. I can only give you my personal, educated opinion on this advertising idea. I worked for many years for a company in the US that was formerly quite well known for the telemarketing sales arm of their business. Telemarketing is extremely difficult in terms of conversion of prospects to sales. Even with a good deal of preparation and a well written pitch, you will likely face a great deal of rejection and some small success. Best of luck to you, and certainly keep us posted if

Is it worthwhile to create individual, personalized welcome letters to new PSAs using information from their Affiliate Profile?

It's nice to have a personalized Welcome Letter and that is possible if you have a reasonable number of people in your down line. It's somewhat difficult to keep up a degree of personalization once your numbers increase beyond a certain point. The idea that we work primarily with our workers leads us to develop a rapport with those whom we interact most frequently.

Of course, the easiest way to do this is to compose your main letter and insert certain variables such as city,or country or
