I am becoming a huge fan of promoting
locally.
Why?
I'm finding that the more familiar local and
regional people are about SFI, the more SFI surfing
we'll create. Moreover, by introducing shoppers and
business owners to TripleClicks, "local will take you
global". (Local businesses owners selling globally)
The increased exposure alone, word of mouth, and
global building will start the momentum of making TripleClicks
a household name.
This in turn will give credibility to our businesses, and
highlight the juxtaposition of the SFI/TripleClicks power and growth.
The result, success for the entire SFI consortium.
I personally like the ECA (E-Commerce Associates)program.
It would be outstanding to have a local presence of stores,
community members, and commerical sellers represented on

We must advise this unique group of individuals to use Time Management.
To focus on the crucial inner workings of the Affiliate Center.
The immediate on-line SFI business benefit would be a referral to the "TO-DO-LIST"
By encouraging the Affiliate to complete this task list the affiliate would still be:

1. Gaining required points
2. Up to date with business changes/relevant
3. Considered a current affiliate
4. Maintaining a determination to succeed
5. Able to hold an Affiliate position at SFI

Having even 10-15 minutes, some work can be done. If time allows, then visiting
TripleClicks, the Forum, and training can be explored.

Interest access can present a host of challenges that go beyond what most of us take
for granted.
If you/we have the use of any device via ownership or sharing, we have one of the riches that most people dream about.
Some of our affiliates, here at SFI, go to extraordinary measures to gain internet access.
Some are disadvantaged, live in villages, experience poor connection issues, and could
possibly walk unheard of miles to get to a computer.
Limited access to a computer is very real issue for a lot of our affiliates.
I applaud those that still give this business an honest attempt, because of, if anything,
Hope! They see the vision, they see the opportunity.
Even if they can show up once per week, they are following the business model:
FREE/No cost and All you need is Internet access.
Our best way is to be patient, to greet this affiliate with encouragement, and to acknowledge any effort given from this unique person!
This is the affiliate that I admire and would wish to start and/or support a program for
internet access for all. Everyone should be able to communicate via this on-line medium.

What is your meaning of success?
Here's why I ask...is it to:
Succeed in a business without spending a dime?

Now, you mentioned not "investing" any money.

However, SFI's core earning system is about "duplication" teaching others to follow the proven system, and building a team.

I would like everyone to be successful without investing money, because doing so would give us
residual income!
Investing will add to and enhance "your" business in every way imaginable! Please do so.

I would say yes to success (keeping the business operating by getting your 11 VersaPoints everyday) and No to successful earning, you will need to invest for long term survival.

It is time to rethink the "FREE" aspect. Let's look at it SFI for the asset that it is.
Let's say that you were opening up a bakery, you could not "bake" without an "oven."
You cannot make bread without flour, etc.
If SFI gives you the bakery and all of the supplies, would you invest in water?

In my opinion, cold calling is a form a desperation.

I follow the author of this quote Frank Rumbauskas.

My answer is NO. His answer, don't even think about!

Cold calling isn’t a lost art. It’s simply inefficient. Just like the horse & buggy when compared with an automobile, and a telephone when compared with a telegraph key.

Worse, it’s ineffective! At least the telegraph would get your message across, and the horse & buggy would get you from point A to point B. But that’s not necessarily so with cold calling.

It annoys people. It destroys your status as a business equal. It’s horribly inefficient, and nowadays, decision makers are becoming experts at avoiding cold calls! Gatekeepers are taught to refuse all of them, and now many businesspeople are setting up “cold call” voicemail boxes that are NEVER checked!

(Just in case you’re wondering why your cold calls aren’t being returned.)

In fact the University of North Carolina did a study, concluding that 80% of executives absolutely, positively will not buy from a cold call!

As to the second statement, that salespeople who don’t cold call are lazy, this is typical of an old-school dictator manager who never actually succeeded in sales.

All of the top sales pros I know and have worked with never cold call. They use efficient lead-generation strategies that bring prospects to them, and eventually they have so much referral business that they don’t have to prospect at all.

If a sales rep isn’t cold calling and isn’t making any sales, you probably have someone who isn’t necessarily lazy. What you have is a rep who was never taught anything effective. I know, because I was in that very position my first few years in sales.

This One Strategy Can Help You Stick With Your Good Habits Every Day

The Power of a Visual Cue

I believe that the paper clip strategy works particularly well because they provide a visual cue to perform a behavior.

Here are a few reasons visual cues work well for building new habits…

Visual cues remind you to start a behavior. Whenever you are excited and motivated about starting something new, it can be easy to convince yourself that you will simply remember to do your new habit. “I’m going to start worker harder with my SFI business” Or, “I’m going to focus and get some new advertisements placed more often.” A few days later, however, the motivation fades and the busyness of life begins to take over again. Hoping you will remember to do a new habit is usually a recipe for failure. This is why a visual stimulus, like a bin full of paper clips, can be so useful. There is no need to write a Post-It Note or set a reminder on your phone. The paper clips are sitting right there and staring you in the face. They are always reminding you to get started.

Visual cues display your progress on a behavior. Everyone knows consistency is an essential component of success, but few people actually track how consistent they are in real life. Without data, however, it is so easy to lie to ourselves about how reliable our habits are in real life. The Paper Clip Strategy avoids that pitfall. If the paper clips haven’t been moved, you haven’t done your habit today.

Visual cues can have an additive effect on motivation. As the visual evidence of your progress mounts, it is natural to become more motivated to continue the habit. The more paperclips you place in the bin, the more motivated you become to finish the task. (Visual cues can also be used to provide fear-based motivation. I have heard of weight loss clients moving glass marbles from one bin to another for each pound they lose. Once you move a marble over, you definitely don’t want to move it back.)

Visual cues can be used to drive short-term and long-term motivation. The paper clip strategy provides a visual cue that drives your behavior on any given day. Each morning, however, you start from scratch with no indication of how you have done over the previous weeks and months.

Creating Your Own Paper Clip Strategy

There are all sorts of ways to use the paper clip habit for your own goals.

Hoping to do 10 leads each day? Start with 10 paper clips and move one over each time you get one throughout the day.
Need to send 25 sales emails every day? Start with 25 paper clips and toss one to the other side each time you press Send.
Want to contact 8 affiliates each day? Start with 8 paper clips and slide one over each time you finish a glass.
Not sure if you’re checking your Affiliate Center three times per day? Set 3 paper clips out and flip one into the bin each time you check in.

Best of all, the entire strategy will cost you less than $7. Grab a box of standard paper clips. Then get two standard paper clip holders. Decide your habit and start moving those bad boys from one side to the other.

Everyone likes to believe they are the exception and that the standard rules of human behavior don’t apply to them. “I’ll remember to do this habit because I really care about it.” Or, “Trust me, I work hard every day.”

In truth, we all have a tendency to revert to the mean. We all drift back toward our default behaviors. We tend to remember our good days and brush away the below average performances by seeing them as exceptions. That is why we need visual cues to track our progress truthfully and provide a trigger to get us moving each day.

This should get your SFI business on track with visual cue motivation!
Use a calender with a list/code to record your number of paper clips for the day.
