If you were asked what you love about SFI, what would you say?

I am fairly new to SFI and on line marketing. So far what I love about SFI is that I am given,what in essence is a turn key business,that is always being upgraded. Everything I need is at my finger tips.
I can start the business with no experence or money.
I am given all the training material for free.
I have multiple means of support via my up line,the forum,ASK SC,and of course the support desk. 24/7 for free.
I love the freedom to work when, where, and as long as I want. I don't have to worry about how I will get to work or the expence of traveling to and from work.
I love the fact there are several ways to make money as oppose to one.
The doors for taking your business international from day one are already open.
The contests and badges are great motivators.
The games are fun and rewarding.
These are just a few reasons I love SFI. As I learn more, I am sure I wil find more ways to love SFI.

Should a person go for the rank of Team Leader if they don't yet have a team?

My opinion I would say yes. The reason is quite simple, by becoming a Team Leader you get CSAs thus a start of a team, some might be active already. You can then start sending them support, which is good pratice before you you start recieving PSAs. If you don't have answers for your downline, I am sure you can find them easy enough.

I believe the best way to measure your success in SFI is by setting goals. I recommend logging on to your SFI Homepage, once there you click on the goal tab. Here you will find a list of goals already prepared for you. All you need to do is fill it in. The best thing is that automatically shows you how close you are to achieving your goals. How could it be any easier? These goals are designed to help you become successful with your SFI business. Where else can you literality see at a glance how well you are doing at any point. Plus you have the extra benefit of earning 5 VersaPoints a month if you set your goals by the 10th.

Can I be successful in SFI without investing any money? And if so, how?

I think the real question would be "Can I be sucessful without investing any money up front? And if so, how?" The reason why i say this is because I believe most people don't mind investing money in their business. But they just don't have much, if any, especially if they are just starting.
I believe that the answer to your question is yes. We have everything we need to start SFI for free. Products to sell, gateways, a website, even training material and ways to advertise for free.
I believe that if we use these tools and add patience, persistience, and determination.I believe anyone can be sucessful.
Once we start earn money we then have money we can start investing into our SFI business.

How important is it to read the latest SFI news...and how does this apply to building your business?

Look at any profession and you will see that in order stay competitive, you need to be up to date with your information. If you are not current on the lastest trends and technoliogy,your business becomes obsolete. Doctors read medicial journals and technicians read technicial journals, all for the purpose of being up to find new trends and better ways of doing things.
Technoliogy (I believe ) is one of the fastest growing fields. Things change on a daily bases.
Here at SFI we are busy with the day to day operation of our business. Recuting people and businesses, advertising products and ECAs, communicating wih our teams, both upline and downline. We don't have the time to see what is new, what the competition is doing.
SFI keeps us all up to date on what is happening on a daily bases via the news letter. We don't have to take the time to find out what's happening on our own. Just by clicking on to the news letter we have all the information at are finger tips. We are also informed on new tools we will be supplied with, as well as games and contest. So reading the latest SFI news is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves and our business.

How can I become a good supporting sponsor when my communication skills are not good?

Hi and thank you for the question.
Here is how I improved my communication skills.
I notice when I wrote letters that I would talk about something, then go on to something else and then had something I wanted to add to something I said earlier. So my thoughts were all over the page. I then started to rewrite the letters and put things in order of importance and brought my different paragraphs on the same subject together giving my thouhts a cohesiveness. Then I thought about how I could say what I wanted to say better. I end up writting several drafts but it is worth it. It makes me sound smarter, and what I am trying to say is a whole lot clearer.
Another piece of advice is to find out all you can on what you want to talk about. Because it is easier to be clear on what you want to say if you are more knowledgable about it.

What do you tell an affiliate who says he's going to quit because nothing is coming of his efforts and hard work?

I would remind them that they are starting a business. A business usually operates in the black for the fist couple of years.
Personally I have been doing this for several months now. So far all I have to show for my efforts are a lot of badges and a little cash. I don't have as much time as I would like to have to work on SFI. I am learning my computer skills and online marketing. This will take me a while to learn what I need to. Until I do this I may not make much money. The dream of having my own business and working for myself is worth whatever time and money I sink into it. I believe that SFI and I will be a good match.

How many affiliates do I need to sponsor each month to build a successful business?

First the number of affiliates you need to sponsor is hard to say. I personally have a lot of them that start for a short time and stopped, others have registered and stopped there. So the number of affiliates I need to become successful is impossible to say. However you only need a few active ones.
How many active affiliates do I need to become successful. Again that is hard to say, because that my friend will depend on your goals,what you concider success.
For me, at this point I only need one a month to be successful. Because most of the ones I have have not been very active at all.
Once I start getting one a month, my new goal will be to have two a month. I must be sucessful sponsoring one a month before I concider not having two unsuccessful.
Then again being successful can mean sponsoring enough affiliates to make a comfortable living,or to become fairly well off.
So my answer to how many active affiliates do i need to build a successful business? It depends on what you consider a successful business.

What is SFI's most important tool to use for building a successful business?

The most important tool is the one most need at the time. If you need to build a team then PSAs to go and S-Builders are the most important. If you are having difficulties or questions, then your upline,the Forum, and support are the most valuable tools. If you are dealing with people that don't speak English then it would be the translator. If you need to make sales then the marketing tools become the most valuable.
Of course tools are only useful if you know how to use them. luckily the tools we need are simple, just a click of the mouse.

Why do so many affiliates become inactive shortly after joining SFI?

I think people might have some of the same problem I have. Many affiliates become inactive shortly after joining because like me they don't know much about computers and they have questions that they don't have answers to.
1) What am I selling?
This question eluded me for a long time. What you are selling is whatever you want to sell. Things around the house, TCredits, or something from your ECAs.
2) Where do I find ECAs?
3) Where do I sell my Product?
These questions should be answered as quickly as possible as they seem vague.
They might also not know how to access information due to lack of computer skills.
