1. Assuming that your PSAs and CSAs share the same amount of enthusiasm as you do. Many people are skeptical about making money online, being overwhelmed by the amount of ads, banners, pop-ups and sites that claim to have THE RECIPE for getting one loads of money in no time. Unless they're signed up by a good friend who's proven to him/her his/her success here, the'll have all the reasons to be circumspect and keep the engagement impulse at low levels. This can be overcome by building trust and guiding him/her through.

2. Thinking that buying/auction winning your PSAs/CSAs is the key for fast building a strong, active and healthy network in your downline. The best affiliates you may get to join your network are the ones that know you personally or through your online presence and have the faith that you are a reliable person,as well as your suggestions and proposals. Building and maintaining a constant and high quality presence online (through a blog, specialized magazine, social channel/platform) is the best way to get you good, believing and active affiliates, willing to build their own network (which is, eventually, the key in this business), as long as you propose this business opportunity in the right context, triggering their interest and motivation.

3. Thinking that once you got the minimum five active PSAs (in order to grant you a solid, stable income) you should stop there and let the snowball roll. Keeping on adding PSAs in your downline can bring you closer to the exploding phase of your business you strive for and will keep you active and motivated. There is no real, good business that runs by itself.

4. Assuming that you owe something to the people in your downline or that they owe you something. Everybody here is in the business for him/her alone and for his/her success only. Of course, the synergy of the system, the way it was planned and engineered, is what makes things rolling and help everybody involved get a profit. Other than that, anybody is free to make decisions, take actions as it best suits their interests. If things work, they do so because they reach a phase where mutual trust and understanding are achieved.

Here are two possible situations:
1. You have been running the blog already and now you've decided to monetize some percentage of the traffic it generates.
2. You joined SFI recently, you exhausted all your known connections in order to build your network in your downline and you found out that a blog may be the best way to get some traffic to your SFI and TripleClicks gateways.

Let's expand.

1. I assume your blog have already a constant traffic and that you developed some kind of authority in the field your blog is about. If this is not the case, than skip to point 2. Now everybody knows that a successful blog is the one who has been positioned on a good niche, allowing room for it to grow as a reference point in that particular field of interest. Here we have two aspects also:

a) If the blog is engaging financial aspects, alternatives for getting extra income or monetizing an online presence, then proposing SFI as a legitimate, solid way of building an extra income will blend quite easily in the blog's feed and eventual banners or article on this topic will be easily digested and followed-up by your readers. Probably the best way is by posting one to three articles about SFI, describing the business in large terms and including hooks where you can insert your gateways. You can do this either in your normal posts stream or you may create a special page/section in the blog where you can approach and expand on this topic. After that you may consider also including a banner where you think it is best suited for your blog design and flow of information.

b) If the blog specializes on other topics and fields of interest (gluten free diet, fitness programs, gadgets reviews, photography tips, industry related articles, social manners, dressings code etc) then writing about and promoting SFI would not be as seamless as it would have been in the previous situation. You have to be very careful with these things. If the audience sense you want to stuff a sale down their throat, they may consider to stop reading your blog. You don't want to lose hard gained readers and followers.
In this case you may consider introducing SFI as a reward for their fidelity and offer some TripleClicks gift cards to the most active readers. But do not transform it in a circus, by announcing the contest and having them thrusting in like vultures. It's in human nature. People do that. And that is not really a nice view. Reward the most active readers on their previous activity. You know who they are. They know it, too. Of course, now is a good moment to present SFI and write about it. Better to build a dedicated section or even better a dedicated blog. Once you've tempted them, they will follow. After the winners redeem their gift cards and you coach them and support them, you can write about their progress and achievements, thus creating a halo and the ball will start rolling.

2. For this situation the answers may have already given at the above mentions points. However let me underline these:
- choose a niche where you have enough room to grow your authority
- choose your target audience and address it accordingly
- make sure you know what you are talking about, otherwise you lose credibility, hence you will not get the much wanted traffic
- post regularly high quality content; don't assume your readers will swallow and digest everything you throw at them
- mind your grammar and your language

Remember this:
- don't try to sell anything up-front
- respect your readers and they will follow you
- be honest; don't promise anything that cannot be achieved
- build the blog you would like to read on a regular basis

After building your audience you may consider what was stated at point 1. :)


What I would do:

I would chose an elegant, airy design in which is easy to find your way to the information you seek.

I would chose a static banner instead of an animated one with the appropriate color palette to match your blog's colors. You may say that those differently colored and animated will stand out. Yes, they will stand out. Telling the readers that the blog's author is only after their money and the contents he presents them is there only to sell them something. You have to do these things in a decent, even elegant manner. You respect the readers' view, meaning that you respect them. Respect sells.

I would avoid to break the body of the article with banners or ads. It is distracting and it makes reading difficult and annoying.

I would make the best I can to keep it simple, but interesting and challenging.

Here is a short answer, to the bone.

The best way, but I mean THE BEST way to get your AVPs is to sponsor as many PSAs as you can. Support them and guide them to get and to EA2 and teach them do the same. You'll get the matched points from all of your downline; so they will. And never stop doing this.

I think you should consider both options. Group mailings are a good way of keeping your PSAs interested, motivated and active and you can send them once a week. In a group mailing you can draw attention to a specific resource, method, technique and elaborate a bit on the topic as to draw interest and call to action. Group mailings are also good for various announcements: contests, offers etc.

Individual mailing is a good way to talk to each person according to their specific status, needs, level of involvement etc. This also shows that you care about their activity here in SFI and that you are actively involved in supporting them, which counts for a great deal of motivation.

As for the welcome messages, go for group mailings. It's much easier for you to deliver a general purpose message. The PSA, CSA and Genealogy mailer let you individualize each message by inserting the variable ~FIRSTNAME~ in the message body. Easy to use and efficient tool.

Making sure you are and you stay a Team Leader (TL)!

Now let me expand on that.

Make sure you are a TL! A leader leads, supports and plans. Plan your business, plan your strategies (here in SFI as well as out there online or offline) and make sure your strategies work! Think, plan, execute, get results and follow-up! Keep the best working strategies, while thinking on diversifying. Do your best to support your affiliates so that they follow your proven tracks to success. Don't let them struggle alone in darkness, lead them to their success and they will lead you to yours!


Make sure you stay a TL! This means to add more active affiliates in your downline (that you constantly support and guide through), as this will bring you matching VPs. This also will ensure you will upgrade to higher team leader positions.

The bottom line?! If you make sure you are a Team Leader, you will stay a Team Leader.

Hi Michael,

My greatest challenge is recruiting good, active PSAs. We may all know already a myriad of tools, channels, ways and techniques of getting people to sign up. The only thing here though is that what really sells and convince people to join and actively get involved is your wealth: how good is this thing working for you and how consistent are the benefits you are getting out of it. If they see you have something that they want (financial independence), the'll do what you told them you did to achieve that (sounds like duplication, huh?! :) ).

But this raises the question of how can one get even started. With a little investment, of course. A little investment of time and money in SFI. Time to learn the business, how the system works, what are the best ways that may work for you and give you cost effective benefits. Money to get and keep your status and earn you badges that speak for you (standing order that is). And you need to put to work your long term invested and constantly built friendships. Ask your friends to join you in this endeavor. Ask the ones who are close to you, who take your word for it, who can be convinced only by the simple fact that you are doing it. It's enough to get 2 or 3 in. Things will start rolling. In the meantime build you online presence and authority to the point where you get people to follow you.

What I said here above may take easily up to a year to build. But I think it's worth taking the plunge. This is what I am currently doing.

By not being very good at talking to people, I understand you mean you don't really know how to talk to them in a manner that sales, like a professional and experienced salesman would do. Bu there is no need to. One reason of you being here is that you found something that is good for you and attracted you in this business, in the first place. You have your reasons for which you may have looked for and/or followed somebody's invitation to join this community and start your business. Be sure, that most of the reasons you have, they have them, too. Just let them know what you found in SFI and TC, how you benefit from it and that they can benefit also. Once they signed in, the system will sell itself to them and they will quickly find their way to success (with a little initial help from you) and will thank you in the end.

So just tell them, for instance: Hey I found this site, where I started to grow a second income with a big potential for a constant residual income. I'd suggest you try it, too. And let me tell you you don't' want to miss that!
Then you just direct them to your SFI gateway and that's it. From there on, let the snowball get rolling.

Being honest and explaining what SFI is all about: perseverance, some amount of work (depending on how much and how fast one wants to grow) and that SFI is a business like any other and even better, a business with a minimum to no investment at all (depending on how you taylor up your strategy). You may even be considering at this point suggesting them that a steady, solid income stream is safe and secure (like SFI), compared to any other instant gain schemes (read scams) out there. If they understand this, they will cope in. If not, there is virtually nothing you can do about it. Let them hunt green horses, while you grow your business. After a few months prove them your track of success with SFI. If this doesn't win them over, I really don't know what else will!!

Obviously, a single blog will do. Why?! Simply, because this two businesses go hand in hand with each other. They are on different platforms and domains for obvious technical reasons, but they can be seen pretty much as a one whole business, from where you're standing.

You may consider having two separate sections on your blog, focusing separately on each business' technicalities if you want, but you want to make sure that you post also articles in which you present them as a whole package, as there is something to gain for everybody from the both of them.
