If you read the articles on posting ads, such as Johan's now legendary "Guide To Free Advertising", you'll learn all about using text ads, placing them, and running a successful campaign. Likewise if you read through the forum you'll see lots of good advice.

One question that will keep coming up is "WHERE do I advertise" and it's companion "What are the best sites?"

Now if an affiliate had a successful site and posted it publicly the site would soon be flooded with SFI ads and would become useless to them. The secret is to find your OWN successful sites.

This will very much be a case of trial and error, keep posting ads until you get sign ups. However this task will be impossible if you don't know which sites are sending you the signups.

The answer is to track your ads. Have a unique code for each site you use, for anywhere you post a link so you know which sites are sending your your signups and which are sending you nothing.

Very soon, by using the hit tracking system this way, you will have a list of sites that, when you post to them, send you regular signups. You can carry on with the process until you have a large list of successful sites and are able to run big successful promotions that are effective everytime.

It takes time and patience, and in some cases money, and the rewards are worth all the effort put it and the some!

Find a list of sites you are going to post to and use a unique code for each one.

As the signups come in you will be able to see which sites are sending them to you and which sites are not.

Drop the sites that are unproductive. Keep posting the the sites that work.
Use the extra time to trial new sites.
Again discard the useless ones.

Very soon you will be building a list of sites that you know will send you signups.
These sites may be different for whether you are promoting the TripleClicks listing, the SFI opportunity, or a product, so track EVERYTHING.

Also some results may surprise you so it's worth trying everything to see what works and then use the results to build a successful future campaign.

Well if they have limited time that is probably because they are busy with their job or business, in which case they will most likely have more disposable income.

Advise them to invest some money, a modest amount at first, then as you see results, look to invest more. Invest some of your profit back into the business.

S Builder shares are the best and most obvious way to build a team who will start earning you regular money.

Use TripleClicks as your own store, buy the things you would buy anyway, eg home cleaning products, and encourage your affiliates to do the same so you have a regular residual income.

Then there is paid advertising on and offline.

However do consider the time factor. How much is their time limited? It doesn't take long to log on everyday and to complete the required tasks. Nor does it take much of your time to post some free ads. Use the same ads and same sites, especially the ones that have sent signups your way (track your ads!) and repost when they fall off the main page.

Also what else are they doing with that spare half hour of time a day? Watching a soap opera? Treat your business like a business and find that necessary time.

Work the system and make it work for you.

This depends on the member and also will be different from PSA to CSA.

If you are getting CSAs it is because you are in a leadership position which is good, so that is the position you should take. An affiliate should look to their sponsor in the first instance. In the second instance they can look up to their upline, or sideways to their co-sponsor.

Send out a mail fortnightly, a message of encouragement and support, and offer for them to contact you. Add them as A2A friends. Be there if they need it but don't be pushy.

With PSAs, they are your own sponsored affiliates and you are their immediate upline, the person they should turn to for help and support. As you should be sending a fortnightly letter to your CSAs, send one to your PSAs but make it different, make it personal. Encourage but don't interfere. Again add them on A2A. Let them know you are there for them.

Some will do nothing with SFI. Some will work alone and be content. Some will contact and ask for advice and support and THAT is when you give it. You wll have some PSAs who you then will be in regualar contact with and they may be the right ones to develop into Team Leaders.

Consider giving these special ones some T Credits. Look a moving some other affiliates under them and help them to groom and develop these new team members.

Don't push but ALWAYS reply when asked for something. Be the leader they need, the leader you would like to have.

If you use the physical cards you are limited by the people you see face to face. And there is the chance they will just put the card down somewhere and never log on to use it, never get round to typing out that URL.

If you use the DIGITAL cards you can reach anyone, anywhere. And as they have the link in front of them, why not click to open it? And the redemption code - just cut and paste it.

The methods are endless, and so are the rewards.

This is a question that takes a lot into consideration.

The affiiates we want are the ones who do see this as a business, that are willing to invest a bit of money and a lot of time, and understand all "over night success" stories actually took at least 3 years.

We hear about looking for the " 4 aces", the ones that are there that do get it and that is perhaps what we need to do. Rather than trying to get the inactives to log in and get it, give extra encouragement to the ones who are going to be the leaders of tomorrow.

When someone looks at SFI they will see that there is a lot of work to do, you need to log in everyday and it takes time. Some will not be able to handle this and wil become inactive, either because they are sitting there watching TV or because they are off looking for a get rich quick scheme, because they need that, need the false promise. They are not entrepreners and never will be.

Then you get the ones who are inspired by the fact they can get stuck in, put in some real effort and that, in time, it will pay off.

Help them set goals and achieve them each month. Then set bigger goals and achieve them.

This is something really frustrating if you are an active affiliate and want to do your best.

How many of us have a ton of inactive affiliates that do nothing with the program, that never log in and do the tasks and don't reply to our messages of support and encouragement? How many times do we see on the forum, ASK SC, the problem of inactive affiliates?

So if you are a proactive affiliate how frustrating is it when you "sponsor" does nothing to help or encourage you and never replies to your messages?

I myself have been in this situation since I got here. I made EA in my first month, then EA2, then BTL in my third month. Now I am not saying I am anything special, of course I am not. But all these leaders posting to say how frustrated they are with inactive affiliates, and how much would they love to have someone like myself who is new and keen and working as hard as they can, making goals, and needing advice, encouragement and support?

Chances are you will have a good co-sponsor and good leaders in your upline, so go to them, that is what I did.

The SFI solution of contacting your sponsor to ask them to release you is not very realistic if your sponsor never answers your messages!

Also, if you are working the system, you are making money for them while they sit back and do nothing, so why on earth would they release you anyway!

What we can maybe do is appeal to SFI to better resolve this situation for all involved. Move those who want an active sponsor to be under those who complain about inactive affiliates. That would also be better for SFI as it would streamline the whole company.

We are all told to look for the "4 aces", the active affiliates who can work it. We are able to set up our geneology to place affilites under each other.

Personally now I am BTL, I would love to be placed in a leader's downline and have them place their affiliates under me so I can become a mentor and leader to active enthusiastic affiliates!

Seems all we can do at this time is appeal to SFI for this better solution - and if we ALL do it, knowing SFI as well as we do, they will listen and come up with something great.

It's not really a case of quick income - anyone can do a quick one time sale and make some money. The key here is redidual and leveraged income over time.

With a PSA, if they work the program properly, making their 1500VP, buying through TC and making sales, you will make money from this. It is not simply a matter of recruiting PSAs, it is recruiting an affiliate and mentoring them to work the program - duplication.

With an ECA, it is not just "recruiting" them, signing them up so you get the one time bonus. It is about an ECA that will generate you commission everytime they make a sale. It is about selling their products yourself, and about getting your PSAs to do the same - duplication.

Imagine signing up an ECA and then having a team of affiliates who sell that ECAs products - isn't that something worth achieving, and that won't just generate quick income from doing one or the other, it will generate residual and leveraged income that could well build over the years.

Remember, you are building a business.

I advise my affiliates to do what I do - get the T Credits packs and use them to buy S Builder credits. Get your 1500 VP to make EA.

Put it to them in a very direct way - I bought S Builder and that's how I signed you up, you do the same and you'll build your downline. Buying the credits made you EA, now use them to make yourself BTL.

It's all about Duplication, get them to invest money just as you did to grow their business just as you did.
