Consider what topics are most important to you. Then find out what topics are most important to your team. Mix your topics with theirs and you will have a newsletter.

For example, if you find it important for your team to build their own team, you should focus on this. But if your affiliates primarily want to generate sales, you will want to make this the main topic of your newsletter. After you address their interests, add in a little about your interest. Everything here is connected, so it shouldn't be too difficult to put them together.

If you just send out your interests, you might find that you don't get much response. But if you mention their interest first, you will attract their attention and might have better results. Just remember that you are writing for the reader, and not to for yourself.

There is no correct answer for this as it depends on your method of selling items and the audience you present them to. If you have the right audience, you can sell expensive items quickly and easily. However, cheap items can sell quicker if you have the right group.

Keep in mind why people are at certain sites though. People don't go to Facebook to buy items other people post unless they are in a "yard sale" page. You likely won't make any sales on these pages either.

With your entire team, once a day or more would probably be too much. However, some of your team members might require daily help. So you will have to adjust it based on the current situation.

Every now and then, you might find some information that is useful, so you want to let your affiliates know about it. But you may have already sent them a message yesterday, and maybe even a few this week. Consider planning your messages out if you feel that you have a lot to say.

Create simple text files and put dates on them as to when you want to send them. Try to put them at least two days apart, maybe even three.

If you just have a few, or one, affiliate that needs constant contact, give it to them without smothering them. Check in every few days and make sure that they don't have any questions. Let them know they can message you anytime. Even after you tell some to message you anytime, they might still wait for you to contact them.

These affiliates likely already know the answer, but just want to confirm that what they know is correct.

Another thing that is necessary is regular encouragement. Some affiliates will not have any trouble doing this day in and day out, but others may need to be reminded of why they are here. If this is the case, you can't contact them enough.

Overall, it has to be based on your affiliates. Observe them and try to figure out what they need in order for you to assist them best.

Too often, people sign up thinking this will make them money instantly or after they sign up they think "this is way too complicated." This leads to those affiliates that never do anything. They might log in once every month or so because of an email from SFI, but other than that, they are next to useless.

The way to try to reduce the number of these people is to do exactly what you said, offer them encouragement and support. But the problem is, many of these people are looking for "that great thing" that doesn't exist. They want the method that starts earning them cash right now, because they haven't realized it doesn't exist.

So we are left with you original question: what do you do with them?

I keep sending them Team mails. In fact, I'll often send out two separate Team mails, one to my active affiliates saying the usual, and one to the inactive affiliates trying to get them to come back and try it out again. If they can come back a month later after still failing, they might change their mind about SFI.

Mentioning that the "perfect" method doesn't exist in your messages might also be a good idea. People think they can "plug into a formula" and make money while they sleep without any effort. All of us here know that this is basically false advertising and that real results require effort.

All in all, I just ask them to come back to try it out again. I tell them to remember the reason why they joined SFI. Last but certainly not least, I try to explain why SFI is THE best.

You have to get your prospects attention very quickly, so key points in a quick introduction are necessary. If you can get them interested in the first part, then you can get more detailed. Hooking them in is the first part of any sales pitch. If they aren't interested, you will be wasting your time giving them the details.

So to start off with, I like to offer them something they don't have. And asking questions is a good way to get people engaged and keep them interested. If you don't believe they have a website, ask them if they do. Really, the answer isn't that important, it's the follow up question.

I follow up with "and how many people do you have marketing your products?" You will likely get a funny look and an answer similar to "umm...nobody." (*Joke* If they say yes, ask them to teach you their ways *Joke*) This is your in. I like to mention that SFI has over 1.8 million affiliates available to advertise products all around the world. Of course not everybody is active and not everybody advertises ALL of the products available, so I like to say over a million affiliates.

If they are skeptical, that makes it a good time to mention there are over 5,000 ECAs all over the world. After this, you should have their full attention. If not, thank them for their time, give them your card, ask them to give you a call, and leave.

If you have their attention, tell them about being able to set up their own store front for free and how they can have their products available online in just a few days. This is when you give them the numbers and how this is for them.

Of course this is all just how I like to approach ECA prospects, so you will have to make up your own method. Just keep in mind that to a business man, time is money. And if he starts thinking you are wasting his time, you are wasting yours, because he is no longer listening.

Successful leaders know that there is no secret to being successful. There is only hard work and determination that separate them from the rest. You can expect to be successful, but unless you put forth effort, time, and sometimes money, you will not get very far.

SFI is great about telling you what needs to be done, however, they don't do it for you because you have to do some work yourself. Getting your own website, building a lead list, and being a good sponsor are some of the most highly recommended things because they are the building blocks for your business.

But getting a website doesn't ensure that you will get traffic. You have to drive quality traffic to your website. Building a list doesn't mean that you will get active viewers. You have to give them a reason to follow you. Being a good sponsor doesn't mean your affiliates will be active. You have to show them that this can work for them too.

If you start something, you have to continue it. Buying a website won't get you anywhere unless you put time and effort in it. The top affiliates here at SFI didn't get where they are from sitting around and hoping somebody would sign up from a traffic exchange. They pursued real leads that were actually willing to put effort into SFI as well.

Overall, it's not about what successful leaders know about and do. It is that they DO. They don't sit around and hope. They make that extra effort. They take action.

SEO, search engine optimization, is a tricky subject that requires a lot of research. Keywords, links, back links, content, and other things all go into determining how your website is ranked in Google and other search engines. I also encourage you to make sure other search engines index your website as well, but I'll get back on topic.

If you view the source code of a website, you will find a section called the "meta" that has multiple sections to it. It is most commonly used for keywords and the description of the website. Using this can greatly affect your search engine ranking.

Content also plays a major role. You don't want to talk about SFI and how to raise goats in the same website. You want a central theme with one topic and use keywords throughout the entire content. Search engines typically read the first few lines of the first paragraph on a page, so make sure it is relevant to the topic and easily accessible.

Links and back links create popularity for a website. If a search engine sees a link to a website in another website, the linked website gains a little popularity. If that website has a lot of links to it, it gains a lot of popularity in the search engine. Linking to your website within your website will help a little, but not as much as others linking to your site, back links.

One of the most important things you need to do is to ping your website to a search engine. This shouldn't be done often, once a month might even be too often in some cases. What this does is tells the search engine to go through your website and list it in the search results, which the search engine determines.

These are the main topics for getting your website listed in search engines, but further research should be done on the topics of search engine optimization and keywords. Getting started with SEO is tricky, but once you get the ball rolling, it usually takes off by itself.

This is a question I have often considered myself and I have come up with a few answers: businesses with medium to small sized items and businesses that already have a store online, but is small and struggling. Of course there are probably others, but these two stick out the most to me.

Businesses with medium to small sized items will have a much easier time shipping, especially internationally. Where businesses with large items will have a difficult time, as the buyers in other countries will be less inclined to pay a high shipping cost. So keep that in mind when you are looking at ECA prospects in your area. Also, keep in mind, many people make and sell jewelry on the side, so these can be great ECAs.

Some people open up an online store, but don't know how to get their website seen. This is where you come in. If a friend tried to open his own online store and isn't making any sales, offer him an army of advertisers to sell his product for him on commission. Plus, he can even link to his website from his ECA store and get traffic there that way.

Like I said, there are other targets available that I haven't considered, but these two are my first targets.
