You must be a goal getter.
A goal getter is:
Patient - Trust me, you need to give your business, your downline some time.
Studious - Grab all knowledge you can. You will need it for life, on or offline.
A risk taker - Sometimes I think I am crazy. But no, it's the bravery of a risk taker.
Persistent - I love this one. If you just keep doing the little right things.
Curious - Ask about anything. It doesn't hurt. you will get answers.
Business minded - Yes, Treat SFI/TripleClicks as your normal business.
Resilient - Sometimes things don't quite add up. Quickly recover from that and move on.
Confident - This is what your prospects and down line need to see in you. Leap ahead.
These have helped me so far in SFI.
Don't forget to Have Fun. Relaxation helps a great deal.

How do you motivate your team to get and stay active with SFI?

This is an important question. Some of the ways you can motivate your team are as follows:
1. Lead by Example. This principle works any day. If you are encouraging your team to read their LaunchPad, get an S-Builder, or go to the Auctions and so on, it will make more impact when they see you have done so.
2. Be an Awesome Leader. Be apt in responding to your team anytime they need your attention, provide the necessary guide they need to grow their businesses, post a good photo of yourself on your SFI Homepage and keep up with the latest news in SFI. These have a way of creating the necessary confidence and trust required for a good team activity.
3. Create team contests once in a while using your leadership page (Reward/Incentive tab). Your team will become active when they know they could win TCredit, gift certificate or MRP while they build their own teams.
4. Share the secret of your success with your team and reassign affiliate to your active PSAs once in a while.

The most important of the two is the follow-up
Why?
1. Free second chance Access.
You will agree that every good business person would position themselves to make a good first impression on their prospects, right? Let me surprise you. Sometimes your ad for instance does not achieve that, no matter how good they are.
You know what? your follow-up, does the magic for you because it gives you free second chance access to penetrate your prospect.
2. Better and broader understanding of your business.
Your follow-up gives your prospect better understanding of your business to make informed decision. This is so because they probably stumbled on you and didn't have enough time to think and decide for the opportunity you are offering.
This is why most sites use auto responders.
You know what? Make an excellent first impression but don't underestimate the power of a good follow-up. It is the bomb. Trust me

As a new Team Leader, how do you know when you have enough PSA's to reassign to your downline?

As a team leader, the moment you have five active PSAs, it's time to broaden your team.
why?
The Deeper the better. I'll rather have five PSAs who have five PSAs who in turn have five PSAs than have fifteen generation one PSAs. It is only in this way that you can build real residual income because you will easily build team leaders within your team.
Once that is settled, you can reassign PSAs to your workers based on country of residence, language, level of effectiveness and so on

For me, the best ways to recruit good, new affiliates are ways that involve two things:
1 Relationship with the person and or
2 Interest
So, weather you are talking to friends, family or colleagues directly or on Facebook etc about SFI or even blogging away on your website or free blogging sites, commenting on forums or article writing, aim at creating relationships while you get people interested in what you are offering.
Even if you choose to buy affiliates from TripleClicks or advertise for one, be sure to go for the group that are looking for internet or home businesses. So that the issue of interest is taken care of and you can freely build excellent affiliates out of the pack.

I will give the Cards to friends and family and to people i meet and we somehow get talking. This is because i already have an ongoing relationship with friends and family and this could be a way to clear up the air about the legitimacy of my business. On the other hand,you make a lasting impression on people when you hand them a card after talking for a while. They will most likely want to give it a try.

The various Affiliate sponsoring methods highlighted in SFI work petty well depending sometimes on the individual affiliate using them. This to a large extent account for the various level of successes attained by different affiliates using these methods worldwide.
The main factor guiding effective sponsoring of affiliate for me, is "Relationship".
You could attract, convince and sign up great affiliates through any means, but the people you have related to by any means (blogging, forums, friends,website e-mails etc) somehow build trust in you and are easily convinced to sign up and do well in SFI.
Find a way to strike and sustain relationships with so many people (Facebook,twitter, Blog etc). Over time you will build trust. `with that, you can attract anyone to join SFI effectively.

In one sentence, how do you respond when someone asks you about the business you are involved in?

In Answering that question, my Gift card or Complimentary card will be handy (remember, the cards do contain more information about the business already) then i would say in one sentence "I am an Home Based Business Entrepreneur with SFI which has for over 14 years helped so many people earn legitimate income from the comfort of their homes". Then i will hand them the card.
What are the benefits of using an auto-responder system in SFI...or should I not use one?

I would suggest not to use Auto-responders in SFI because with SFI genealogy, psa, csa mailers and pre written welcome message you can manage your down line properly. These down lines have unique needs depending on the country live in. And so, you need to make time as an awesome sponsor to answer their e-mails in person. Take Gery for instance, am amazed that he is always finding time to respond to questions himself
