When we are talking about "good new affiliates", which we all wish to have in our teams, it doesn't matter too much from which source they are coming.
So, I will not list the recruiting possibilities below, because all of them are potentially good, just like our potentially new good affiliates.

I wish to focus there rather on some things, which we can do personally in direction to add additional value to our referral work and to help the new affiliates becoming as good as possible. The difference between our success, following this, will probably be dependent of:

- HOW TO WELCOME THE NEW AFFILIATES
- HOW TO REPRESENT AND GUIDE THEM INTO SFI
- HOW TO HELP AND MAKE THEM FEEL, SFI IS THE RIGHT PLACE FOR THEM

For example with the following steps:

1.) Try to go back first in your newbie skin to understand better the newbie needs.
2.) Do not complicate when introducing the "big picture" of SFI. We have great SFI tools to do that (especially some new, like the new START tab is).
3.) Let them know, they are joining a serious and developing system with 15 years tradition and not a get rich quick scheme.
4.) Guide them carefully through the three magic tabs on our Homepage: START tab first, SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD tab.
5.) Suggest them to become more familiar with the SFI system also with additional SFI free training materials, Forum, ASK SC, a2a friends etc.
6.) Suggest step by step learning, with understanding what they are learning, trying to find and doing this with their own speed.
7.)"Breath" with your new affiliates, check the normal possibility of overwhelming and be immediately prepared with helpful and useful advice to avoid this.
8.) Reward good work, guide to their, yours, our success.
9.) Lead by example, try to introduce the work at SFI and the sense of duplication with your experience and experience of more experienced members.
10.) Teach them to "copy and paste" all this with adding their personal note in communication with their new affiliates.

This is my suggestion, how to help new affiliates to become good new affiliates (one of the ways to recruit good, new affiliates).
Feel free to add something more and yours here. In creativity also only the sky is the limit :)

Only with the reassignment there will be no benefits, but wait, what could happen later?
I will try to write down below the three I see them most important:

1st BENEFIT of doing this I see in giving with this the second chance to PSA, to you and your Sponsor, new possibility to activate such PSA, because you will try to activate it on a different way as your Sponsor does.
You never know exactly, why your re-assigned PSA is not active, so it is very worth to try doing this on a different, in this case, your way.

2nd BENEFIT could happen immediately after reassignment to you and also to your Sponsor.
You will probably react thankfully to your Sponsor's present, with more active trying to activate your new PSA, which could represent a big challenge for you.

3rd and the biggest BENEFIT I see if you succeed with the activation. There will happen at least four WIN,WIN situations:

a)You have new active PSA with all the benefits this brings to you.

b)Your Sponsor have new active Member in his downline, which seemed "mission impossible" before, with all the benefits this brings to him.

c)Your re-assigned PSA start discovering that SFI is also for him, with all the benefits this brings to him like to us.

d)And finally, SFI has a new active Member, again with all the benefits this brings for SFI also. :)

About overrated activities for us I don't see too big differences of any here, even if probably there are. At SFI we have VPs system for measuring and valuating our activity. From my point of view, this is a very good system, which needs only to be regularly updated with the SFI and TripleClick news to keep VPs rewarding on the track fair between all of our needed activities to follow successfully our, SFI and TC goals and visions.

All activities are important here:

- from the start with learning about SFI system from all free training materials we have there, to become familiar with SFI first, with all the advertising knowledge included
- from doing daily, weekly, monthly actions to be in touch with the system and all the news at SFI and TripleClicks
- from sign-uping to grow our SFI family and quality share this knowledge and help to our downlines
- from auctions as a part of TC purchases
- from other sales and purchases with implementing in practice all the knowledge we've learned.
- from Forum, ASK SC, a2a etc. to exchange our knowledge, skills, experience and help between us, members

Here I see the most underrated activity especially the last (Forum, ASK SC, a2a etc.).
I see there a lot of members, who are ready to share unselfishly their rich knowledge and experience with others everytime and almost for nothing. When you meet some obstacles on your way and you need some useful advice as soon as possible, this could be very important for your quality work and finally for our common, SFI and TC success.

For example, just try to comparise input work and knowledge needed for 100 VPs earned at Pricebenders auctions and 100 VPs earned from Forum, ASK SC, a2a etc. together.

For the start, and to be able to develop some of your needed qualities for this (in fact has value for every success), let we go for a walk to the roots of our matter first.

1.) The beginning

You need to be WELL CONNECTED WITH OUR NATURE'S LAWS (we could say with GOD'S LAWS).
And there please don't confuse this with any special religion, because all big and wide religions are based and are already hundreds or thousands of years talking about this in a very similar way with their own language and on their own mode.

For being such a person you need to be HONEST to yourself first; from this to the others and to the world in all their shapes. This way you'll find your real, objective position of yourself, which is very important for your future personal progress and developement.
You need to be A GOOD LISTENER, with WIDE and OPEN-MINDED THINKING. With the combination of said above you will develope your FEELINGS to become more and more SENSITIVE, which will help you making as much as possible objective judgements and right decisions on your way.

You need to HAVE DREAMS, you need to SET-UP YOUR GOALS, YOUR WISHES (etc.) IN ONE CLEAR VISION about your life and doing. MAKE YOUR FIRST PLAN here.

2.) Challenge

When you meet a challenge like SFI in our example, you need to be CURIOUS, you need to have a WILLING TO LEARN, to recognize, to know the possibilities of the system as much as possible first, before making any other decisions.
If you find this like something for you, you will be MOTIVATED for upgrading your knowledge regularly without any limits and you'll wish to TRY THIS KNOWLEDGE IN PRACTICE.
When you finally know that this is the right thing for you, you are TAKING THIS CHALLENGE AS YOURS, and from there only the sky is the limit really.

From that moment (when you know what you want), the seguent needed qualities for success don't represent any big problem for you anymore and you could much easier be:

- FOCUSED
- MOTIVATED
- ENTHUSIASTIC
- DISCIPLINED
- SELF-CONFIDENT
- PATIENT
- PASSIONATE
- PERSISTANT
- DETERMINED

Very wishing qualities to need are also: to be COMMUNICATIVE, CREATIVE, ALTRUISTIC... and for sure there are some others, not mentioned, which could brings you success even closer.

3.) Sharing your knowledge

BE A LEADER, BE A TEACHER; all you have learned, all your experience is to be shared with your downlines at the most clear and simplest way to understand and to follow effective. Lead by example and be an never ending RESEARCHER and DEVELOPER.

As many as you need will probably be the simplest answer, very close to the truth.

We are all different and unique and we are coming from different parts of the world. We are entering with different languages, different goals, different knowledge, different thinking, we have different habits and a lot of more different things.

But SFI is expecting us with the same, honest and equal rules for all. Very similar is also with the common legality about the way to success at SFI; with a big difference, regarding to the rules, in good for us - there is not only one way leading to success, the ways are many and each of us could find, discover and create his own.

To be able create your way to success at SFI, you need to become familiar with the system first; with understanding what you read from training materials. Then you need to use your knowledge and the system for your work. After that you need to share this knowledge and experience to your downlines and you need to be a good sponsor, ready to help them.

For doing that you need time; very different time, regarding to our differences. To become succesful at SFI is more important to do all these steps then how much time did you spent for this. Especially if you are trying to do this good, as much as possible you can.

As a new Team Leader, I would be thinking about enough PSA and reassigning some of them in these circumstances:

1. When I would have too many PSA at once to give my quality support and help to them.

2. When there would be thinking, I have done from my side all the best what it could be in my power and from my knowledge, for helping and tracing the downline's own way.
Someone could do this better, sometimes is maybe enough to change the mode only.

3. When there would have a very well doing downline, who simply calls for new challenges and who is in good communication with his/her downlines. If my PSA would be from the same or similar language area as my rewarding downline, even better.

Never I would not deliver PSA just so. I would ask my PSA, planned to go from me for agreement first; with a short explanation and introduction of his second chance and his new Sponsor.

First of all, sponsoring and coaching, helping are two things which are going with a hand in hand very well together. In every case it is good to be done on the way and up to the limits, where the quality of your sponsor's support could still not suffer too much.

When you sponsor even one affiliate, you need to take care first, how it will be with your coaching and helping. If you have a lot of new affiliates in a short period, you need to know this even more.

How you will organize and do this, is your sponsor's work - in both cases. Make a plan and be prepared before referring.

With regarding to your question...in both cases you will have with the time PSAs to concentrate on coaching and helping them. From the second part of your question probably more. That's the only difference. All of them will need you.

I suggest let we do our job first and not to go under your good sponsor's limits in support when referring. My choice is quality first.

Then we still have open space for some lucky strikes in new good affiliates from massive campaigns, which will don't need our help maybe.

But let it be this hazardeous part a part of another story.

The quality of yours knowledge, experience, skills will determinate your success here and will probably determinate a big part of your prospect's success.

Ask SC is a real goldmine of knowledge and experience for all of us, SFI members.

With participating (with questions or answers) we are making a big step forward for ourselves first, because we are moving from observers to active followers and creators with this and we are helping (knowing or not knowing this) to keep alive the mission of Ask SC.

Ask SC are We, all the SFI members in exchanging our knowledge and experience from our live practice and doing, which is the final and crucial step to our success as SFI affiliate.

It is like shortcut "to the point", which needs our action only. When we are adding to this our personal note and experience also, we could use it and share this with others. Again and again, everytime a bit improved.

And it is not useful for authors only. It could be very useful and helpful for every SFI member, who are spending some more time daily with reading and rating Ask SC questions and answers; to know and discover something new and useful every day on the road to success as SFI affiliate (and not leaving Ask SC points blank!).

For conclusion I will share with you a thought more about Ask SC only, as example;
think about, how could this be very helpful for members, who are without sponsor's and co-sponsor's support...I would easy call it "the third sponsor", what do you think?

A superstar?... It is not better to try this in Hollywood? :)

Ok, more seriously now...yes, it is possible to become a Superstar in SFI and we already have Superstars in SFI also; on a bit different basis of playing... on a basis of smart and hard working on our field of work.

We could divide SFI on different sections of playground (advertising, referring, sponsoring, writing, auctions for example etc.) and on each of these sections we could find Members, who are not doing an average SFIer's work only. They are simply doing a step more than others. We know them and we could call them microsuperstars of the particular SFI sections.

So, to become a microsuperstar or Superstar in SFI I think it is not enough to work hard with doing regular daily, weekly, monthly works only. You have to be a step forward, you have to make a step more than others in certain section if you wish to become this.

And you don't have to care about that, you will not decide about that. The SFI community will honestly recognize you as a microsuperstar or Superstar on your doing and working basis when your time become.

Finally, a real Superstar in SFI you will become when you will be recognized as a microsuperstar on as much as possible mentioned sections of our SFI.

Some common things of such persons are: clear vision, willing to learn (also from own mistakes), focused and developed working habits, creativity, curious researcher, every time prepared for taking action; even on a new way, without fear to loose and making mistakes sometimes. And of course, he (she) is a good leader, willing to help and share his (her) knowledge and experience to his (her) downlines and community.
